Tisha B’Av 2026: What's It All About? #tishabav #redemption #holytemple

Tisha B'Av the day [music] we mourn the destruction of the temple. The day marked with sorrow and sadness. Why is that? Why are we sad about something that happened so long ago? An event that we really can't fix, >> [music] >> and a building that we never really knew and don't really miss. Maybe this period of time is not [music] about sadness. Tisha B'Av is not supposed to be about sadness. It's supposed to be about yearning. It's the time in which we focus on how our lives could be so much greater with God's presence in it. [music] And by building up that yearning, by building up that longing, we emerge even more committed to go through [music] any walls that separate us from him.
