The Gamorah says that a child in the womb is taught the whole Torah. Child's conceived, for 9 months he lives inside his mother's body, an angel teaches him the whole Torah. He sees from one end of the world to the other, he knows all cosmic wisdom, he knows the whole Torah, he knows his future, he knows everything. Jew, non-Jew, man, woman, knows everything. At the point of birth he gets a cruel blow, angel teaches him Torah, then he gets a cruel blow, he forgets it all and he's born a little baby who knows nothing. Why would Hashem arrange for an angel to teach a child the whole Torah only to make him forget it when you're about to be born? What sense does that make? The answer is you don't forget. It's driven deep into your subconscious. And as you move through life you have a sense of great wisdom being just out of reach.
