God said to you, "I created the world in six days, and on the seventh day I rested." God stopped creating, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it. God says, "I sanctify for you one day a week, the seventh day on which I rested." There are tremendous secrets in this. What happens in the upper worlds on the seventh day? All the rectifications are made upon them. The creator of the world sanctified the seventh day and said to you, "Dear Jew, on this day I bestow all the blessings upon you. On Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, you are only drawing from the blessings you received on Shabbat." And he sanctified it. And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it. The people of Israel keep Shabbat, dear brothers. It is a sign between me and you. It is an eternal sign. Do you rest on Shabbat? It is a sign between you and the creator of the world. Master of the universe, here I am showing you. I believe with complete faith that you created the world and rested on the seventh day.
