Okay, Barashem another als and um this week the alik is going to discuss a very very very interesting concept the in this week's parish says shall make for me a mikdash and I will dwell within it. So the ash asks a very basic question. How is it possible that Hashem will dwell in a structure in a building that was created by man on this world far away from the heavens? Why and how is it possible that Hashem would come here? Why would Hashem dwell amongst human beings? Why would God come to live in a house built by man? Very simple and basic question. How is it possible? How could we even he says how could we even hear these words? How is this reality even possible that God would bring his presence to dwell in the in a b mikdash in a mishkan that was created by man even the greatest man in this world very far away from the heavens. So he says that we have to understand what was the BA mikdash. What was the bas? Was it just a structure that was made by Muhamm? Did it just happen to be a nice place to pick to for God to choose to rest in? But he says we see that right from the beginning of time the first carbon that was made was made by Adam. And where did he bring that carbon? In the place of the B mikdash and haram Maria and Nyak. And then Abraham brought Isaac to the specifically in that place. And the keeps on saying, how does the referred to the place of the B migdash? The place that I chose. The place that I chose. The place that I chose. So what is so significant about that place and what is so fundamental about the whole idea of what the B mikdash was? So he explains that really this world was created from Hashem and Shimm and the place where Hashem resided in order to create this world was a ba migdasho a ba mikdash above corresponding to the ba mikdash below there is a ba mdash that is in the heavens and it's in this place that Hashem funneled all the energy to create reality. It was the the the uh the tenor the the pipe that connected this world to the next world. The place where this world touches Shamayim is the Makam Hamdash. And in that place corresponding to the Haram Maria, corresponding to the temple mound, there is a BA mikdash above which is the place where there's actually carbonas there. There's actually an avoid there. But most importantly, this is the place where Hashem rested and in order to send all the energy and all the energy and all the uh light and everything that we have in this world came through a came through a pipe from the Bikdash and we know that when was trying to find the place of the where should he build a B mikdash she didn't end up building he didn't end up building it but he wanted to find at least where's the place he was running around looking where is this place that God chose where is this place that Hashem chose for the BA mikdash to be what was he looking for he was looking for the place where the bas mikdash above resides and in that way he knows that that is the place where heaven and earth touch and that is the place where Hashem is able is going to be able to reside in this world why because what happens is is that because the The place of the mikdash is so connected to the higher realm. Hashem actually extends the b mikdash of above the b mikdasha and it extends it to incorporate the ba mdash that we built mikdash. And the gar even says that when a cayenne went in to the med says when a cayenne went in to bring a carbon down in this world and the B mikdash over here in this world corresponding to that a malik above a carbon in the B mikdash above and the BA mikdash below mirrored was a mirror for everything that was happening above. And this was the idea of the BA mdash. The B mikdash was a place that Hashem was able to reside not because it was a random structure that was built by even though was very very great but actually it was an extension of the higher realms into this world. And the only place that that could happen was the place that was the closest place from the higher world to this world which was the Makkah mikdash. And this is the reason why Adam brought the carbon on the haramaria. And this was the reason why Abram specifically was looking for the place where should he bring the where should he bring and he saw the mountain from afar. He knew this was the place because this place was the place where heaven and earth touch. And this is the place where all the energy and all of creation came and was funneled through. And that's of course the reason why we when we pray we pray towards the makam mdash. Not just because it was a holy place, not because it's a commemoration of something that was once there and we're trying to, you know, bring it back. It's because that is the place where all the go up because that is the main source and the main um pipeline between this world and the next world. So this is the B mikdash and it's with this the alsh says this for this reason Hashem was able to reside in this world because in fact when he was residing the B mikdash in this world it was actually like this in between universe where he was actually simultaneously residing in the higher B mikdash and in the lower bas mikdash at once and the holiness and the energy of the lower bas of the higher B migdash extended to the lower B mig when the B migdash was built. And this was the reason that once there was a base of mig in the world, there was no other place that the Jews were able to to build anything else. There was no other place where we can call the house of God because this is Hashem's house. And this is where Hashem wants to be forever. And this is the only place to bring a carbon. This was it. This was the this was the home that Hashem desired. This was the place that Hashem chose to be. Why? because it was exactly this place where the world was created from and it was the closest reality to the higher world. So this of course begs the question what exactly was the Mishka and this is really what the Ash is trying to get at what was the Mishkan. So if we can understand that the B mikdash was this place where Hashem was basically not even living necessarily in this world but he was living in this kind of uh this dual dual reality of dwelling in this world and the next world at once because this was the place where the higher base of Mikdash res was was and this was the place from that place the energy came down and this was like kind of the the portal between this world and the next world and kind of had this uh dual reality. So that makes sense says the al of the B mikdash. But what was this thing that we're discussing in this week's para called the Mishk? What was that all about? And could it be says that Hashem also resided in a desert in outside the land of Aritis? How could that be? So he says something unbelievable. Yik explains that what happened was really after the revelation at Sinai very shortly afterwards the Jews were supposed to go immediately into and of course immediately build the beta mikdash that should have been what happened but unfortunately the Jews sinned and they did the famous sin of the eagle and this caused them to end up being stuck in the desert for many more years. So what ended up happening? What ended up what ended up happening? There was no B mikdash. And Mosherenu turned to God. He saysu turned to Hashem and pleaded with Hashem, you're not going to bring us into because of our sins. Okay, all the Jews had to die in the desert. Okay, we're going to be stuck here for 40 years. Okay. But how are we going to be able to connect to you in the desert? What are we going to have here that we're going to be able to feel your presence? What are we going to have here in the desert that's going to keep us going till we get to the Israel? And he pleaded with God, give us something, some sort of home that we could relate to you and that we could become to you and we could connect to you even here in the desert. And Hashem acquiesed to Mosha's request and the garus the med says that he turned to his angels in heaven and he said I want you to build for me a mishk in heaven the same way I had a b mikdash in heaven that that was my place that I created that you know of course was created from the six days of cre whatever maybe the six days of creation that was supposed that was going to be able to to bring all the energy down to this world and connect to this world and be the the the dual reality between this world and the next world I need to we need to have make another place called a kind of like a small B mikdash a mishkan it's called the Mishkan a miniature version of the b mikdash and this mishkun is going to be very different than the temple it's going to travel with the Jews wherever they go it's going to be able it's not going to be made out of stone it's going to be made out of out of material that could be folded and could be tra and could be easy to travel with and you're going to have to create that reality, said Hashem, corresponding to the Mishkan, in the higher worlds. Why? Because again, Hashem is not just going to rest in a building made by man. Even the greatest man of all time, he's not going to rest in a building. There needs to be a reality in heaven where Hashem is able to correspond between this world and the next world. That is the purpose of the Mishka, a place where Hashem's presence is able to reside in this world. So he turned to his angels and said, "Make for me a miniature Mishkan." And we even have the world the word for it. He said, "It's going to be called matron." And this will be called the Mishkan on high. >> Matron. This was called the Mishkan on high. And this Mishkan on high on high is going to correspond to what the Jews are going to make soon, which is going to be the Mishkan on low. And it's going to be a miniature version of the BA mikdash. And through that mishkan, I will be able to reside amongst the Jews in the desert. And it was a tremendous tremendous a tremendous kindness that God did that he gave us the opportunity for us to connect him in the desert. Not in the not in the place that he chose, not at the makd not in the place where where was supposed to be where this was supposed to be the the connection between heaven and earth. But Hashem said, "I'm going to make a new place not on the same level the bas mikdash but very very similar. And not only that, it's going to travel and wherever the Jews go, the Mishkai is going to follow it and I will be able to reside with them." Now, in order to do this, it wasn't just enough that the Malikim should make the Mishkan on high, but he needed somebody who's going to be able to pave a path and connect between this world and the next world because again, it can't just be that there's a Mishkan over here and a and a Mishkan over here. How is it going to connect? And this, the Alik explains is why Hashem needed a special special soul of Balo who knew and understood everything. And God gave him all the wisdom. And as the garra says, the wisdom of oius, what does that mean? The combinations of the letters that God created the world with. He taught that the combination of letters that God literally created the world with. He taught that to Betalo. And in this way, Betal was able to actually create a new reality that never existed. A new portal between this world and the next world. A new portal between earth and heaven. And the creation of the Mishkal was not just the wisdom of how to make the vessels which in itself was a great wisdom. But as God said, you're going to do everything I show you. What does it mean everything I show you? Not just the physical making of the vessels, but everything I show you. What are the letters and the special ideas and cabalistic names you have to have in mind in order to actually create a new pipe between this world and the next world. something that never existed before. A new way for Hashem to can the world to to to to be aligned for this world and the next world. A miniature version of the BA mdash literally. And this took tremendous tremendous wisdom and tremendous. And the al says something very interesting. He says, why did it have to specifically be an 8-year-old boy? The garra says that Balu is eight years old. A very strange thing. Why did he have to specifically eight years old when he built the Mishkan? There were definitely people that were older and more honorable to make the BD. He was an 8-y old boy after all. But the Al says the answer is specifically because of this because the Mishkan that was on high was called the the miniature Mishkan, the Mishkan. And through that Mishkan that is going to be the way that now when the Jews are in the in the uh desert. This is going to be the way that all the abundance and all the blessing of the world is going to come through. So specifically because of that says we needed a a child to be able to build this connection because the same way the Mishkan was called the miniature Mishk the Mishkar he says you needed specifically an 8-year-old child a nar not an adult to be able to be the the conduit to be able to create that reality where now we have a new pipe a new pipeline between this world and the next world. And with this we could explain why it is that what what was the great thing that happened with the Mishkan? What was the great thing that this unbelievable mitzvah that Hashem gives us that God says create for me a bas and I will dwell within it. This was not just this was not part of the plan because begged God please give us an opportunity to connect you in this world. God then said make for me a mdash. What is the they should make for me? What is the idea that they should make for me? So, Hashem says that there are going to have to be three components to make to making this reality exist. First of all, the the angels in heaven have to make the Mishkan above. But that's not our that was that was the commanded to the angels. So, Hashem said first of all, Bal has to actually make the physical uh physical vessels, the physical structure with all the wisdom that is not just going to be representing, not just going to be physically in this world, but it's actually going to connect and coincide with the Mishkan above in order to make that there should be connection between the vessels below and the vessels above. And but then the says, where is it going to rest? It's going to rest in a desert, in a impure place, in a place of emptiness, in a desert. So each place where the Jews had to go, it says that Mosher had to be mad, sanctify the land where the Mishkan was going to rest on. The physical land had to be made holy by Mosha Raen. So we have the physical structure was created by Batalo and Batalo also connected it to the higher the higher Mishk with the lower Mishkan. the place where the Mishkan was going to rest, the physical land where the Mishkan was going to rest was going to be sanctified by Moshabenu, making it as if it's almost the holiness of and the Jews are going to have to do their part. And what was their part? Donating with love, with with desire, donating out of their own money, out of their own pockets, the materials to build a to build a Mishka. And in this way with these with this trio Bal and Mosh Rabbenu and the Jewish people doing the physical work, Moshabenu sanctifying the land and the Jews giving all the raw material needed, the gold, the silver, the the the the the silk, everything needed, the precious stones to build the Mishkan. Hashem said in that way all the Jewish people will be part of this reality that shouldn't have existed and is being done especially for them in order for the Jewish people to have a place that at least until they get to the temple they'll have a place that they could connect to me. And this is shown very much by the fact that once the Jews got to the base of Mikdash they were no longer allowed to make bumas. What are bumas? Bumus was the idea that even when the Mishkan was around, the Jews could still in their own backyard. There are specific laws to it, but they were able to in their own backyard, wherever they want, bring a carbon, at least a carbon, a certain type of carbon that they can bring, even in their own backyard. You don't have to specifically go to the Mishkan to bring it because again, the Mishkan was only a place that we could connect to God, but it wasn't the ultimate place. It wasn't the place that God chose. This was a special gift that God gave to us in order for us to feel like we have something to connect in in the desert. But once we got to the ba mdash that was it there's no more changing. There's no more there's nowhere else you can go. There's no more mishkan. There's no more bumas. None of it. This is the place that I wanted. This is the place that I chose. And this was the significance of the B mikdash. The whole time the plan was for God to reside in the B mdash. And this was really what Hashem chosen. And the P says over and over again. The place that I chose was you're going to go to the place that I chose. You're gonna go off three times a year to the place that I chose. It never refers to the to the to the B mikdash in the it calls the place that I chose because this is really the place where Hashem chose not just to build the B, but the place that Hashem chose to connect this world and the next world. And that's why it's the holiest place in the world. It's literally it's really it's literally a a a a um um a a a portal between this world and the next world. And that's why it's very and that's the specialty of the B mig. The Mishka doesn't have that. What the Mishka does have is that because the Jewish people really desired to connect to God, Hashem made a miniature version of that. And that miniature version was what kept the Jewish people going until they built the Ba Mdash. So that's the idea of the Ba Mikdash and that's the idea of the of the Mishkan and that's why the Ba Mikdash has much high much more intense laws than the Mishkan. And with that we should use to see the B migdash very very soon when we when we learn about it we understand now we're coming into the par of learning about the B mikdash and we're coming to the paras of learning about all the different kum and learning about all the different uh um items that are used it should be as for us that we should be to the real B mikdash very very soon. Amen.
