OMI global community. I have the privilege of sitting here with Dr. Rabbi Akiva Tats here in Somerset, London on this beautiful day and many of you submitted your questions and we took a few of them that we thought would be really telling and really interesting to ask Dr. Rabbi Aka Tats and uh without any further ado, we're going to start off. Okay, so Rabbi Tats, what is the biggest challenge in our generation and what should we do about it? start off with something easy challenges probably the central one is that we're losing touch with um essence you know in Jewish terms you probably say amuna faith in other words the the you know it always pays to go to fundamentals but the most fundamental thing is God so it's our connection with God Hashem that is the most important thing and unfortunately we're losing that as the time goes by we're getting more distant from that call which means distant from the source source of existence and distance from our own consciousness, our own essence. What can we do about it? Well, we call that outreach, right? We call it reaching out and teaching and try to connect people with the genuine genuine essence in a way that they can feel deeply. So, I think that our solution, those of [clears throat] us working in this field, we try to expose people to the genuine depth and beauty of Torah. Not convince people or try to pressurize them, but simply demonstrate the beauty. And we hope that will bring him close. >> Beautiful. >> Okay.
