Hello children. In the previous episode, we told you about the special unity that existed among the Jewish people. Today, we will tell you about the beginning of the work in the Mishkan, the tabernacle. This is how the Torah portion begins. Moshe, our faithful leader, is about to do something special. He is going to make an exact accounting of all the donations that the people brought for the Mishkan. Why? Because Moshe wanted everyone to know what was done with every grain of gold and every piece of silver that was donated. You are wondering why Moshe needed to show the people what was done with each and every donation. So I will tell you Moshe was a great and righteous man and he did not want anyone to suspect that he might have used some of the money for his personal needs. Therefore, Moshe decided to show everything to the Jewish people so that there would be no doubts.
