Don’t Let “Hard” Stop Your Growth
1,608 views
Opportunities rarely come wrapped in a bow, they usually come wrapped in a challenge. Don't wait until the opportunity is gone to realize you were capable all along. Next time you’re tempted to say “I can’t,” try saying “I will” and see how far you can actually go. @CharlieHararyDotCom #growth #selfgrowth #jewishmotivation #jewishinspiration #motivational #inspirational #charlieharary #jewish #jewishcontent #hidabroot

I was talking to someone recently who
was asked to do something really hard at
work.
So, he pushes back and pushes back. He
doesn't want to do it. And finally, his
boss called and he said, "All right,
listen, we gave it to somebody else."
And he goes, "What do you mean?"
He goes, "We heard what you said. You
don't want to do it."
He says, "Well, no, I I want to do it
now." He says, "Well, when I first gave
it to you, why didn't you want to do it
then?"
So, the guy thought and he said, "Cuz I
didn't know if I could do it."
So, the boss goes, "Why do you think you
could do it now?"
He goes, "Cuz I don't want to miss the
opportunity to see how far I can go."
A lot of times in life, we get
opportunities from God. When they come,
they come in challenge. They're packaged
in something that we don't think we can
actually do. So, we reject them.
But only later do we realize that
by rejecting things that are hard, we
never push ourselves to seeing what we
can possibly do. And it hurts cuz we
know that was ours. Many times, what's
ours, what we should have, needs us to
say, "I [music] can." Even if we think
we can't.
Just wanted to share that.
