growing up as an athlete and competing
against other kids. Didn't really care
what color you were, didn't care, you
know, what temple or synagogue you went
to. Um, could we stay on the floor and
would you pass me a ball and could we
win? And we didn't really care, but our
parents cared and our grandparents cared
and I and I noticed that. And then at
the same time, God's got this plan for
me to be a coach and bring people
together. and I'm watching color and
religion and all kinds of different
factors divide us and separate us and it
just bothered me to my core. So, I've
kind of tried to live my life with my
faith just out there for everybody to
see. Um, break down stereotypes
and uh try to find a way to be the best
possible Jewish person I could be and be
an example um which is what my family I
think would have expected me to do and
break down those stereotypes just one
relationship at a time.
