I was heading home and I remember a minute before stopping one of the big rabbis in in learning and then the rest is history. I was learning actually and I got a phone call from somebody that my son was hit by a car. It's a very difficult I didn't understand the severity of the accident. This call came across as a pedestrian struck. I was actually in Shul at the time. Immediately when I heard the call I was about three blocks away so I [music] went right down the block. >> It was very reassuring when I arrived to see some familiar faces. That's all the guys. I've been on Hatzalah for almost 30 years. We learn how when there's a serious call we don't think, we jump in our car and we get to the call and we provide the necessary first aid [music] to the patient. >> informed that laser was breathing, was hit badly, was breathing. In retrospect it was unbelievable to know that Hatzalah was there within literally seconds. I want you to know from what I saw how professional, the speed, the love, the care, the warmth. There's not many people who who I can say I owe my life to. Hatzalah So in general, specifically these members. Hatzalah literally means saving, it really does. It it really does save lives. I'm scared to think what would have happened if Hatzalah not been there on time. >> [music]
