When Rav Zechariah Wallerstein first was opening his high school, so he's interviewing girls. It was right before he opened, and one girl named Miriam comes in, walking in with her father, her elderly father. And he begins the interview, and during the interview, he's asking her questions and she keeps on falling asleep. He found it very interesting, why is she falling... and he asked her: Miriam, why are you so tired? And she said: Rabbi, the entire summer I was partying with my friends. That's my summer. Rabbi Wallerstein is thinking to himself, I can't take this girl into my school. As he finishes the interview and she's starting to leave, he asks the father: Where do your other children go to school? And the father says: No. Miriam is my only child. She's a בת זקונים. Rabbi Wallerstein said: If she's your בת זקונים, she's in. Afterwards, the other Rabbi who was there said, How can you take her in? And Rabbi Wallerstein said: You know, if this is his only child, how can I not take care of this man's only child? We have to remember that we are HaKadosh Baruch Hu’s only child. We’re Hashem’s child. And he believes in us. And when we know that Hashem believes in us, then we can do anything. So many times a person has a Nisayon, he has a test, he has a challenge, and he doesn't know, How am I going to do it? But if you know אבינו שבשמיים, He's counting on you, He's rooting for you, He's waiting for you to make the move that's going to spell eternity, that's going to give you the Zechusim that you need to have all your questions and all your prayers answered, then you know that you can't give up, because you know that your father, אבינו שבשמיים, believes in you. He's rooting for you. And you can't ever let him down.
