Harmony Day 2025

On Thursday 20 March 2025, we celebrated unity and diversity for Harmony Week! From a powerful Indigenous dance about coming together, to the Māori warriors' haka, who came down to meet and acknowledge the First Nations mob, paying respects to the land we gathered on. To honour this, the three Māori warrior’s made a gesture of peace, laying down an offering, which was accepted with a waiata (song) and haka. The Fijian hymn of prayer, along with the vibrant Tongan, Samoan, and Indian traditional dances, reminded us of the beauty of our shared cultures. As Mr McMahon said, “We are a better country, a better nation, and a better school because of diversity and inclusion”
