all the righteous nor that continue to
help us and support the organization to
continue doing the amazing things that
we're
doing uh also uh to give you guys a
little bit of reminder to uh get uh the
last orders for this week uh for anyone
that wants to get books or USBS to be
distributed in their Community you can
go to the kiru store there's going to be
a bunch of boxes coming out uh uh
tomorrow tomorrow and the next day uh so
uh any orders that come out that get
sent uh tonight by uh midnight uh should
be able to be processed this week KY
store.org and also anyone that wants to
uh donate you can donate at BH torah.org
BH torah.org to help us do all the
amazing things that we're doing uh
lastly it's a thing something that I've
been telling you guys about for the last
few weeks uh about an upcoming campaign
I just simply do do not have the time uh
to set up a new campaign for it but I'm
hoping I'll get to it at some point
either way we have to uh we're running
out of time so anyone that wants to be
involved we have to uh raise uh an
extraordinary amount of money uh to uh
it's in the hundreds of thousands of
dollars for an event that we're having
in just the next two and a half weeks uh
inia this is a uh not just to uh uh
publicize and uh expand the tah and help
the people but also
uh to bring protection to the northern
part of Israel this is something we've
already committed to uh and working on
for the last couple of months uh setting
up the place getting the people in so
many words we're going to have a
thousand people in one room 800 men and
then on the other side is going to be
200 women uh in this uh venue inia
tiberias where the 800 of are going to
be learning the entire Shas entire sh Yi
the um entire mishna and uh I believe
several other things also uh just don't
remember the whole list all in one day
it's going to be 800 of them this is the
biggest event we've ever had uh and
therefore requires not only a lot of
money but also a lot of time uh and uh
the uh 200 women are going to be reading
the seph the entire seph each one will
take upon oursel the entire seph
uh and each one of them is going to be
financially rewarded for being involved
in this huge day of T the reason why
we're doing it and the reason why it's
specifically in telia is to bring
protection to this part of the world
this part of Israel where of course
right now everything is uh you know is
is tense there's attacks there's all
types of things but uh there's been
threats that there will be an attack on
the northern part of Israel by the
and now today there was a uh
announcement by turkey that they also
want to invade and everyone is uh
putting their eyes on the uh northern
part of Israel so in order to bring
protection uh to uh not only to Israel
not only to the Jewish people but
specifically to that part of Israel uh
we're going to increase to this is the
Ultimate Weapon that we have uh and
therefore we're going to uh gather all
of these amazing people
uh to uh in increase the amount of tah
on a single day to bring protection to
uh toia to bring protection to Israel uh
specifically at this time uh so anyone
that wants to donate for that campaign
uh please donate generously you could uh
now already do it by donating to BH
Torah uh.org I'm hoping that I'll have
time to actually uh set up a campaign
specifically for it and of course we'll
uh uh allocate whatever you send now uh
you know there either way it's a uh it's
a big event it's a big uh deal uh it's
never happened before
there's since we did our big 3,000 last
year we see that several other
organizations have uh taken the
initiative to do the same thing where
they're learning the entire sh in one
year and we're glad to see it uh but
this is something that we need to do
even more than what we've done in the
past uh where we've completed the Shas B
in one day now we're looking to get a
lot more people and a lot more Torah in
one day so anyone that wants to uh be
involved be a partner with us donate at
BH tor.org so with that being said we
have
thean the uh the small note
byin which is obviously making big
changes in our lives from just simply
the uh perspective that we have uh you
know about our life our role in the
world
and really the Katan is going deeper and
deeper into our role in the world into
what we're supposed to have as an
ideology not just as someone that would
want to be aid but even someone that
wants to be a kosher Jew someone that
wants to be a simple Jew with the right
ideology uh has to fight for it these
these days and one of the reasons for it
is based on what
the said a few hundred years ago
where he said that at the time of MIT at
the time of
Egypt decided to take am Israel out of
Egypt right then and there without
waiting an extra moment even though the
original decree was 400
years he took am Israel out of Egypt
after 210 years now of course there's a
lot of different teachings in regards to
this particular topic but one of them
that uh uh the brings is the fact that
that am Isel has uh made enough mistakes
while being in Egypt due to the bad
influence that's there all the idolatry
all the immorality all the garbage that
was there even though immorality did not
affect am is the idolatry did because
the out of the 10 levels of Tuma that
were brought down to the world thear
says nine of them were brought down to
Egypt so much so that even if an angel
would come down to Egypt they would be
affected and am is already uh
degenerated to the 49th level of tum
meaning that the next sin that they
would make could literally bring them to
the 50th level the worst possible level
of impurity and there would be no return
from it the world would be destroyed and
the reason why there would be no return
from it is simply because that's an
unrecoverable level now of course
once decided to take us out of Egypt
over the next uh uh five uh over the
next 49 days or 50 days until we got the
Torah AEM gave us the man elevated us uh
in extraordinary ways to the point where
is got to the highest level of Kusha the
the 49th level of
kadus now
the says that at the during the days of
you know right before mhia comes is is
going to get to the 50th level of Tuma
but we'll be able to get out of it why
the 50th level of Tuma what's because
this is the last part this is the Last
Exile this is the last opportunity of
the Satan to attack us with all of his
all of his tools in the worst possible
way to such an extent that we will fall
into the 50th level of Tuma but because
we have the Torah now which we did not
have
at the time of Egypt we only had the
oral T we didn't have the written t as
well we now have the tools to get
ourselves out of the 50th level of Tuma
now what is the 50th level of Tuma the
50th level is the uh of Tuma is heresy
heresy the says will hurt is Will
torment is will confuse am is
drastically because of all of these
foreign thoughts all of these
uh teachers that are going to mislead
all types of things that are going to
confuse people that are otherwise kosher
people otherwise looking for the right
things to think the right things to do
but these heretical teachings literally
take a person from being kosher into
being a heretic meaning they have no
share of the world to come and this is
where we find ourselves after all of
these years the last decade of fighting
against all types of heretic and helping
do CH for all types of things one of the
things that we learn is that this is
part of the final battle now of course a
person that looks deeper
into if they're finding the right uh the
truth in there if they're finding the
right teachers in there certainly this
could help them in a lot of different
ways but if they find the wrong teachers
like the ones we've mentioned in the
past that say all types of foolish
heretical things like God needs you and
God has an arm
and uh he's going to say I'm sorry to
you and uh you didn't ask to be born so
therefore uh you know he uh you don't uh
get judge for sins and all types of
other heresy initially when we mentioned
it when we we taught it when we
protested against it it was just a fight
for the sake of the honor of hem and
helping people understand the truth but
when you learn much more
to and you realize that this is not
going away easily certainly there are
many people that are changing certainly
there are many people that are learning
but you see that there are certain
people that are stuck in there like
worse than idolatry worse than
immorality and the only thing that makes
sense is because this is the last part
of the
battle is here to help us clear up our
ideology and what's a better place than
understanding the words that are said in
the Sido that could certainly create
confusion if a person doesn't know it
now anyone that has
prayed the from the Jewish
Sid has seen the uh the words giving to
giving pleas you know uh pleasing Hashem
or giving pleasantness to Hashem this is
what it literally means you know if you
translate it literally to English giving
to AEM means giving pleasantness to
hasem and you see it every day that you
pray uh you see it countless times and
in the days of the 50th level of Tuma
these words could easily lead a person
to confusion about their so-called
giving to the Creator that is perfect
and doesn't need anything so how is it
that I can give the Creator if he
doesn't need
anything so what does it mean what does
it mean to actually give
what if you're the biggest sadik who is
the biggest sadik what can a person
really do for AEM these are some of the
things
that delves into to give us a
clarification of what it all means and
how a person could write their
mind and steer it away from any type of
foolishness that's out there that
unfortunately is a uh
is everywhere
in the fourth section of
this the says as follows I'll read it in
Hebrew first and then
English this is simply for the Cav of
the Tora it's not necessarily because
everyone understands the Hebrew but it's
just for the of the we always like to
read at least part of it in the original
language of the
[Music]
translation in everything that you do in
this world be it Torah study prayer or
the performance of the command ments you
should accustom yourself to saying the
following behold I performed this action
for the sake of the Union of the Holy
One and his to give pleasure to the
Creator blessed is he if you accustom
yourself to say this from the depths of
your heart you will eventually begin to
feel a great Illumination in the
words so here we see that the section
that uh we read every day
even before the prayer was something
that added where there's a special
prayer
that uh added to the prayer before you
start as I told you the story where the
Kaa was waiting outside of his house for
a blessing for for for his guidance and
all of a sudden they they see three
extremely tall
men very honorable running into his
house and of course everyone was in
shock who are these huge people and
what's going
on after some time everybody decided
okay as soon as they come out everybody
get a look at them maybe you could
recognized maybe it's a rabbi from here
maybe it's this maybe it's that but as
everybody is
prepared the door opens and quickly the
three extraordinarily you know tall men
walk out in a hurry no one gets a look
at them no one has any idea who they are
but everyone knows that something
extraordinary that
happened after this opens up the door to
his community and he sees the confused
faces on the PE on the people and he
says you're probably all wondering who
are the three Honorable Men that came
here and I'll tell
you because I saw how the generation is
going lower and lower and fewer and
fewer people are able to have the right
kavana the right intentions during their
prayer I decided to use all of the
teachings that I've learned to reformat
the sidu the prayer book and shorten it
to specific places
in order to enable everyone to have an
easier time to have the right
intentions but as soon as I was working
on
it these three men came
in and they were three of the
representatives from Heaven of
the the men of the great assembly the
men of the great assembly from the time
of the bet mikdash some were prophets
these were the Sedin these were people
that Hades prophecy the Sid was written
by them even though the prayer of Shak
was instituted
BYU was by uh
BYU
and was
by says still the uh the rest of the
words from Psalms and from other places
were instituted
by and they didn't just put whatever
made sense whatever sounded good but
rather based on their knowledge pure
knowledge due to prophecy Ines of which
specific words open up specific gates in
Heaven at specific
times and therefore they came to me that
although my intentions are
good they are not the will of hem
but to show me cavod for all the things
that I do and everything they said that
you can write a special
prayer before the prayer and Institute
that and
this is one of the many contributions to
the prayer of all
of now here he's telling us to accustom
ourselves to say that we are performing
this action for the sake of the Union of
the Holy One and his to give pleasure to
the
Creator and in the prayer of
r one of the segments says as
follows we would pray this to hasem and
this is a translation of it our father
in Heaven compassionate God help us
unite our hearts thoughts words and all
of our deeds and emotions those that we
are aware of and those that we are not
so that they are all directed to you
truly and sincerely free of all improper
thoughts purify our hearts and sanctify
us sprinkle upon us pure water and
purify us with your love and your mercy
plant the constant love and fear of you
in our hearts at all all times and in
all places when we walk and when we sit
when we lie down and when we rise may
your Holy Spirit burn constantly within
us for we constantly rely upon you and
your greatness your love and fear your
written and oral toah the revealed and
the hidden and on your Commandments all
for the sake of uniting your great and
awesome name and
thereby instituted a prayer that we say
each
morning right before you
start which goes as follows for the sake
of the Union of the Holy
One and
is don't misunderstand us to think that
hem has Parts this is just simply how
Hashem unveils
himself just like you could uh you know
you know show yourself through a
face-to-face meeting you can show
yourself through a phone call you can
show yourself through a WhatsApp message
message or a text message or an
email Milli of but point is that hem
unveils himself to us in different ways
but it's all the same one God one piece
there's no three there's no two there's
no nothing there's just simply
one which the ramb writes inim the
Oneness of God is not in
comparison to anything else to two to
three there's just simply one God and
the true understanding of It is
incomprehensible to the human
mind but says here that in for the sake
of the Union of the Holy One in fear and
in love in love and in
fear anyone that's prayed is familiar
with these words just read them in
Hebrew perhaps to unify the name UD and
K and and the K I say k instead of the
he in perfect union in the name of all
isra behold I accept upon myself his
Divinity may be blessed and the fear and
love of him for I am a servant of God
and I will fulfill the Commandment to
love your fellow as yourself for I do
love every single Jew like my own soul I
am ready to fulfill the Commandment to
study t as well as the Commandments of
and I'm ready to fulfill the commandment
ofma and the morning prayer and all the
Commandments that are connected to and
included in them and similarly all the
mitv I do this in order to please my
Creator and not to receive any reward
and my intentions are according to the
understanding of Rish Shimon I accept
upon the torah's 613 Commandments and
all the Commandments of the rabbis and
all of their details oh gracious God in
your great compassion save me from my
evil inclination and allow me to serve
you in truth so May It Be Your Will amen
May the pleasantness of the Lord Our God
be upon us and the work of our hands
established for us and the work of our
hands establish it so here we see a
prayer that many Jews say even before
they
start putting accepting upon us the
obligation to pray accepting upon us the
obligation to fulfill all of the mitv
also reminding ourselves of how much we
have to love each
other and if a person starts off the
prayer but still has hatred in his heart
for his fellow Jew then obviously he
starts the prayer on a you know with the
left leg he's starting his prayer with a
lie the same thing when a person says
the Amid and he completes the amida but
he still has arrogance in his heart
because he thinks he's better than other
people then really the whole prayer was
a lie because at the end of theid talks
about how you consider yourself to be
dust and Ashes so what kind of dust and
Ashes is arrogance so the more a person
digs into the words of the sages whether
it
beIN or the other sages the more they
will be able to understand whether we
have truth in our in our mouths and our
hearts or we have
lies now the sages teach
us that who created the world for his
glory just like
the says
and as the prophet Isaiah says in
chapter
43:7 everything that is called by my
name I have created for my glory I have
formed it and I have made
it so we see that all of the mitv
were're doing it to glorify God to
sanctify ourselves and be worthy of
glorifying
God we we need his help to purify our
dirty minds whether it's dirty for you
know whether it's immorality or it's
idolatry or its lies or whatever it
is but again and again we repeat this
whole
notion of giving pleasure to
God
now how does it all add
up the prophet Isaiah
in chapter
29 will give us the
first step of our
understanding in this
chapter the prophet is not
saying the prophecy that's going to make
us feel so good and nice about what
we're doing because he's not only
talking to the generation back then then
he's talking to
us and he says as follows chapter 29: 13
and 14
translation the Lord said meaning that
the prophet is speaking in the name of
God in as much as this people has drawn
close with its mouth and with its lips
it has honored me yet it has distanced
its heart from me their fear of me is
like wrote learning of human
commands so here the
Prophet is telling us in the first
part
that hashem's rebuke is not because
we're not
religious the opposite says yeah they
pray they keep Shabbat they pray they
say the blessings before they eat
sure but they're not doing
it with the right kavana they're not
doing it with the right intention
they're not doing it with a full
heart and therefore says the prophet in
the name of God behold I will continue
to perform more wonders against these
people wonder upon wonder the wisdom of
its wise men will be lost and the
understanding of its sages will become
concealed this is an atomic bomb that
was just told to
us as the bom Mal
says is telling us that we're doing
the we're fulfilling
them but it's only because we've become
accustomed to them you grew up religious
with religious
parents and you learned from your
parents to say a blessing before you eat
so you do a blessing before you eat you
learned from your parents to start off
the day by praying so you pray you learn
from your parents to eat kosher so you
eat
kosher but it's not
because you're thinking deeper into the
words of what you're saying of who
you're talking to that you're actually
in fact indebted to your
creator that you're actually in
fact something that is a miracle in
itself that Hashem even allows you to
exist in order to serve
him and yet you're doing it just because
you've become accustomed to
it it became like a
reflex and for that says
the decrees to punish us with wonders
upon wonders against
us to such an extent so that anyone who
sees what happens to us will be
astonished and say wow you hear what
happened to them one day they had the
best defense system in the world the
next day a bunch of degenerates with
flip-flops broke through a billion
dollar fence and killed thousands of
people and took hundreds of hostages
wow you heard what happened to them one
day they have the
most successful you know military next
thing you know they're getting attacked
to such an extent they can't even defend
themselves they just uh got a rocket
went through the whole system killed 12
kids well you hear what happened to them
they went to visit their
allies in a different country in America
and the
Allies although some showed up the main
one being the president of the US did
not even show
up and the vice president that's running
for
reelection actually mocked the whole
thing and all of these things are
happening where one
day it looks one way and the next day
it's another another one day you look
feel strong successful rich and the next
day it's all like a negative Miracle an
evil miracle
happened for
what says it's because even the from the
religious community that are being
done are not necessarily all being
done in order to
bring but rather because we've become
accustomed to
it this as a side
note could be viewed in a certain way
this is obviously mid mid this is
measure for
measure when we were not at
Wonder at our with our you know we're
not at Wonder with our own
heart by the fact that we have the
opportunity to serve a
with the that we can actually serve AEM
serve the creator of the world serve the
King of Kings we actually have the
opportunity to be among the chosen
people to serve a and we're not even a
wonder about it we're like yeah yeah you
know I'm Jewish yeah
sure sometimes unfortunately some people
are even embarrassed of their Judaism
like they're Jewish at home but when
they go to business they pretend they're
not instead of wearing a keeper they
wear a baseball hat they changed their
name they have a business
name not because their name is difficult
to say so they figured that instead of
spending the first five minutes of every
conversation explaining to people what
the name is and why it says
that no they just don't want the name to
sound
Jewish why because they're afraid of
anti-Semitism they're afraid people
won't do business with them they're
afraid of this they're afraid of
that instead of being at awe at the fact
that a chose us to give us an
opportunity to serve him instead of
being at awe that a is there with us in
the betet with us when we pray alone
with us when we keep Shabbat with us
when we say a blessing on a piece of
food with us when we relieve ourselves
in the bathroom and allowing it all to
work without having extraordinary
pain with us when we were with our wives
and kids with us when we are rebuking
our our our uh fellow workers employees
fellow Jews children whatever it is with
us at all times and we can use all of
that to serve
a and we're not at all that is upon us
at all
times and thereby we fulfill the mitvah
but not necessarily because we're at all
just because you know in the morning you
got to pray you got to put on the
filling in the afternoon you got to pray
and at night you have to pray again and
you know you eat you have to do a
blessing and it's just another
thing therefore there's the mid mid the
measure for
measure rebuke from Heaven that the
prophet unveils here saying you are not
at
awe at your role in the
world and therefore the awe will come
from the eyes that see what happens to
you I mean this is as scary as can be
this is HP this is what not only
happened this is what's happening as
the says
that had over 1.2 million prophets in
our
history over 1.2 million prophets in our
history but only 55 of them as the says
are actually mentioned and quoted in the
tanak 48 men seven
women why 55 and not the entire
million not just because that would mean
that the written Tor would literally be
from here until the uh the Sun as far as
the size of it but also because the
Prophecies of the 1.2
million were relevant to their gener
generation and therefore it's not
relevant for you to read it today 3,000
years later which means that every
single word every single sentence every
single paragraph and needless to say
every single prophecy that is in every
one of these sentences every one of
these chapters is relevant to you and I
until the end of
times every word in the tanak is
relevant to our generation every word in
the tanak is relevant to our
lives nationally and
individually and when a person is not at
wonder that we are
entitled we are
privileged I should
say we are
privileged to be Servants
of but we're carrying ourselves as if
we're entitled to
something and we treat our prayer as if
yeah you know just another
thing says if you're not at wonders I'll
bring the Wonder in a different
way I'll bring the Wonder in a different
way why as the says
in page 220 281
is
investigating each and every
heart not
just what you
did but how did you do
it
comments
on what happened when was giving
gifts for the
mishkan and he says if you look at how
the contributions the
donations that were made by is how
they're written and listed in the
Tor you should be asking a question it's
a little strange says in the
beginning it list the gifts of the
women that they brought the the N you
know the the nose rings the the
Rings after that it mentions the uh was
uh was was
donated the uh silver
copper was BR brought by some of the
people and then then only at the end the
Torah mentions the donation of the
n the people that were the
leaders that they brought the
Diamonds the stuff that's worth a
fortune I mean you would think that the
the biggest
contributions usually would be listed
first look at these generous people wow
you know usually when you have some type
of honorary commemoration for somebody
that's a you know for
donations let's say they build a new
Yeshiva or new synagogue or or whatever
campaign is happen and they mentioned
the names who are they who did they
mention they mentioned the top guy
first the top family that donate Oh look
The ruven Family donated a million
dollars yay and everybody says good job
okay and then you know the other
families they donate 950 and 900 and 500
and so on and so forth and then
eventually if there's enough time
they'll mention
little Steve that donated $100 fine no
problem but generally top is
first here's the opposite the greatest
honor is given to the
women that technically gave the least
valuable least valuable
goods and the least honor is given to
the
Presidents to the rich to the leaders
that brought
a
fortune
why
says the comes to teach us something
that does not get you know
surprised or you know a
uh it's not is not a in in in in awe of
the value of what a
person donates
rather the way they
donate why
because because the merciful one he's
investigating the
heart checks and evaluates and
weighs each of the actions based on the
heart that gave
them and therefore when he saw that the
leaders brought the precious
diamonds very
valuable but
yet he rejects it in a certain way
values it the
least why because they brought it last
they brought it with laziness with
lethargy and this is the ultimate
witness as if you would have a thousand
witnesses that they did not give these
precious valuables with a full heart yet
the
women that brought their less valuable
things had a lot of difficulty
internally to get rid of their uh their
jewelry women love
jewelry despite all of this they as soon
as they heard that there's a mitvah that
mosu is telling him that you can
contribute for the sake of Tora for the
sake of the unification
for the sake of the honor of to
bring immediately they hurried to bring
this to be the first ones to bring it to
mhu and gave the
jewelry right away to build the
mishan
the way that the women carried
themselves and how they
hurried is the ultimate
witness that they gave their donations
with all of the heart with complete love
and with Sim to
honor and that's why their
donations were written as the first one
in all of the
donations because the way that a person
serves
a testifies of how much they what they
think about Hashem how important Hashem
is to
them and even though theim the leaders
had a much more
valuable uh
donation it gets listed last
because he looks and investigates the
heart not the amount of course if a
person has a lot and he's the first
donor but only donates $100 then
obviously this is also a testimony that
they're not really giving with a real
with a full heart so don't think it's
just because you're the first donor but
you're not giving appropriately that's
not that's that's still okay it's not
about who's first and who's last it's
what's in your heart when you
gave
because wants our heart not just empty
words not just empty actions not just
empty blessings and empty
prayers which all of us un
are guilty of at one point or
another
now since we're already going to
the I want to share with you something
beautiful that will give us even more
clarification as we try to understand
what it means what does it mean to
being now of course if a
person sees themselves just starting out
doing cha they're relatively new they
don't really know that much so they
think okay listen you know perhaps I'm
not even in the equation of bringing to
but the guys theik they're
giv who are
theik who are
theik perhaps it's you yeah but I don't
know that much well let's see what who
are these sadik
comments in Bak from a couple of weeks
ago in chapter
24 verse number
six where it's the prophecy of bam
that's talking about am is where it
talks about how goodly are your tents or
yov your Dwelling Places oh Israel like
Creeks stretching out like Garden by a
river like tents pitched by hasem like
Cedars by Waters he gives this
whole parable
about and
the tells
us what's the meaning
here he
says page
105 and
also 21st chapter expounded on this
verse in many ways
and his further explanation that the is
going to tell us he says the Torah here
is speaking about the four groups
ofik four groups of righteous people
that exist among hashem's
people who are these four one group
consists of people like
Shi who not only learned tah devotedly
and teach it to those who came to him
but also go around all of is to teach
all the Jewish people Torah and each and
every year as stated by the sages of
blessed memory in M Shabbat page
56a so someone that does kiru someone
that helps people do chva top of the
list as we've said many times over the
years but there's a second group of
sikim what are the second group of sikim
the second group of
were entirely dedicated to Torah and
learning Torah to learn and also to
teach it to issues rulings of
law this is the group that is installed
in thek gazit the chamber of of the
unstone on the Temple Mount which
engages in
Torah and issues rulings of
law this group is essentially the same
category as the first except that one
who seeks the word of hem would have to
come to them where went beyond
them in that he would go around is to
teach people the first one top sadik is
one that makes sure that people have
toah whether they're located here where
he lives or they located in China so he
makees sure that he's going to they have
TOA or they have tah in uh Uruguay or
they have tah in Colombia or they have
tah in California or they have tah in
New York wherever it is he makees sure
that there's to there today it's much
easier to get the to into many places
because of Technology but there still
has to be an enormous amount of
investment of effort and money to get
there the second group also teaches tah
but they're focused
on whatever is around them they have
they have a they'll teach somebody wants
to come
to that's the second level ofik they
learn T day and night and they teach
their whoever is whoever comes to them
fine what's the third group
ofik the third group ofik
says studies the Tor for its own sake to
analyze and understand its pleasant
words the previous group groups
surpasses this one because it both
learns and teaches tah but still one
that learns toah just for the sake of
understanding the depth the beauty the
Holiness of each word in the
Torah still part of the many of
the were not discovered until their
later years whether it be the Steinman
or or many of the that we see today and
we see you see their pictures in their
later years many times because the world
didn't know that there's such great
sikim until later on because they were
studying they were doing
everything in the cave alone away from
everyone and only after hasem wanted
them to unveil themselves to the world
that they actually unveil themselves and
became someone at the Seminary
Torah all over the
world but needless to say one that toils
and toils and learns toah certainly in
the category of tadim
and then there's the fourth group the
fourth
group does not learn a lot of tah but
rather it supports the
Learners and goes out to work and earn a
livelihood to find food of
mankind in order to support the
tah and Bam uses four metaphors to
describe these four levels of tadim
regarding the group like group like Shmi
he says like Creeks stretching out
meaning they act like a flowing Creek
which extends its Waters from place to
place so that others are able to drink
from it so to are the people from this
group who trouble themselves to give
drink to those who thirst for Living
Waters of tah regarding the second group
bam says they're like a garden by a
river the garden by the river which is
planted in a particular place and
produces
fruit and anyone who wishes to benefit
from it may come to benefit but some of
the fruits are carried away from the
garden to nourish those that are distant
so some even the one that teaches in
their Yeshiva in their K doesn't mean
that their Torah is not going to be
disseminated in other places it will
some people will take the fruit what
they learn Torah they learn and go
somewhere else teach somewhere else uh
influence somewhere else it's just not
in the same level as the one that that
their priori is pretty much taking on
the whole
world similarly this second group is
installed inaz and anyone who wishes to
benefit from their Torah will come to
benefit and their fruits travel to far
away places for students come there and
gain wisdom from them and then go and
give drink to those who thirst for
Tora as it says in the uh seph the book
of Isaiah chapter
2:3 from Zion will the Torah come forth
and the word of hem
from the third group that belah mentions
is those that learn Tora for themselves
and lack the capacity to confer and
transmit it to another bam says these
are like the tents pitched by AEM this
is like yobu who was a wholesome man
abiding by the tents and the tents to
learn to offer
himself and the last
one is the fourth
group regarding the fourth group says
bam they're like Cedars of by
water Cedars which are tall Barren trees
meaning that they are wealthy they have
money even if they're not wealthy but
they contribute to toah as much as they
can they're like a cedar
tree they're tall in a sense that they
have strength and might in this world
but they bear no fruits in
t since they don't study
Tor and says I've written in several
places that only the fruit of the Torah
is is truly called a fruit and therefore
the sages explain
thead in page
202b where where mosenu when he went to
war Hashem says do not destroy the trees
for you will eat from
it this is hinting to the fact that a
person that has Torah is producing
fruit and the metaphor that bam is
saying here is that the Cedars are by
the water for even though these people
that dare not Torah Scholars they're not
teaching the world they're an average
person but
their spiritual strength is derived from
the Waters of the Torah because they're
investing into the Torah and since they
support the people who study Torah which
is compared to water they will benefit
from the waters themselves in the world
to come since a person who supports
those who study tah shares reward with
them as is well known and written in
many
places the intent of the whole statement
is to convey that all of the Jewish
people stand at the root of Holiness
which is the Torah and even those who
are engaged in matters of this world
working business and so on are attached
to the Torah by the virtue of supporting
those who study it up to here is the and
of course I've mentioned to you guys
that in the uh
SE uh commentary on the by Shalom he
brings that said in the name of the that
a person that
does meaning invest into the Tora to the
point where they're doing a deal of they
pay the expenses of a Torah
scholar according to the law some say
they're supposed to give literally 50%
of their money 50% of their income to
the Torah scholar 50% of themselves
others say doesn't necessarily need to
be 50% it just needs to be all of the
expenses of the Torah
scholar and whatever is left over is for
the uh the worker so even if it's more
than what the Torah scholar is getting
either
way says someone that does
this whatever the scholar
learned the investor will know that t in
sh so he learned the entire you're going
to know the entire he learned the
entire you're going to know the entire
such is the benefit of those who invest
into the T but needless to
say we saw here that the ones that at
the top of the spiritual letter are
those that learn Torah teach Torah to
the public those that do K in so many
words in the category of
they saying this is they're the highest
now he's not the only one It also says
in the
prophets as
the SE from nearly a thousand years
ago mentions in the fourth
chapter perhaps the most famous chapter
not just in this book but probably the
most famous chapter in in in books of
musar in the
world he talks about different sikim and
he
says the
highest who is he talking about those
that do
kiru and he says as
follows the Prophet
Daniel says in Chap
12:3 and those who
turn the many to righteous shall shine
like the stars forever and
ever meaning those that help other
people do
chv leave their wickedness and start
keeping
to they're like the stars they're above
and beyond even the rest of
the or says for those who
rebuke there will be delight and a good
blessing will come upon them this
is Proverbs
24:2 when an upright individual has
acquired the Merit of promoting
righteousness in others together with
the Merit of his own righteousness and
the Merit of his faith and patient
submission he will be considered by the
Creator worthy of receiving the reward
of the world to come see here
the is in essence giving us a picture of
the ultimate
sadik ultimate sadik he is learning he
is teaching he is
disseminating he is doing good
things
amazing what's the point of all this
because we've learned all this before
this is the
point as good as this person is as much
of a sadik as he is we're not talking
about the one that's just investing into
the tah or the one that's learning to
just for himself we're talking about top
of the
top so obviously if this applies to the
top of the top needless to say it
applies to everybody else
right says as follows and listen to
these holy
words words of the Living God listen to
these words and you'll understand
everything and the point of everything I
just said and your role in the world and
where we
stand this is what the is saying even if
a human it's the same page by the
way this is the same page
of which is in English called trust in
God fourth chapter this what he
says even if a human being Good Deeds
were as numerous as the Sands of the
sea they still would not be equal to
even one of the favors bestowed upon him
by the Creator may be exalted in this
world all the more so if he committed a
sin if the Creator were to hold a man
strictly to account and demanding
gratitude for these favors all his Good
Deeds would be neutralized and erased by
the smallest of the Creator's favors
towards
him any reward bestowed upon him by the
Creator is not deserved on the account
of his deeds but is the result of God's
grace towards him punishment however in
this world and the next is justly
deserved a debt that man must pay only
that God's grace overcomes it in both
worlds as it is is written in the uh uh
Grace oh God is yours which is in Mish
or also it says but he The Compassion it
would Grant atonement for sin and would
not
destroy so
here saying as great as a person is even
if he's a top upper of upper echelons
ofik he does he does he does this and he
he's great he's amazing he prays with
100%
kab if you
compare the greatest of his good the
greatest of her
good it is neutralized and erased in
comparison to any of the kindness that
gives you gives you the ability to see
can you ever repay
him gives you the ability to hear can
you ever repay
him gives you the ability to wake up
every day can you ever repay him he
gives you food the saate you and you
don't choke in the process of eating
this food can you ever rep pain for not
choking he makes your meat produce rocks
which you call teeth that allow you to
chew
food can you ever repay him for the
teeth can you ever repay him for your
wife for your husband can you ever repay
him for your children can you ever repay
him for giving you a job that gives you
enough money so you can survive needless
to say if you prosper can you ever repay
him can you ever repay a for making that
ailment that you had that you thought
was going to end your life and now
you're still alive and walking can you
ever repay him can you ever repay him
for removing a headache that you felt
was going to make your head explode
and you thought that this is it my life
is over this headache is never going to
go away cuz that's the feeling everyone
that's in pain feels when you are in
pain you feel like this is the way it's
going to be
forever the toothache will never go away
wow how I'm going to get used to this
toothache how I'm going to live the rest
of my life with this
toothache somebody has an infection has
something in their eye has something in
their leg they feel like wow this is
like a new life how I'm going to live
the rest of my life with I can't live
like this they start losing hope in life
because they think that they're going to
have to live the rest of their life with
this pain with this toothache with the
headache with the financial problems
this is the reason why people kill
themselves because they think that
whatever miserable situation that
they're in this is the way it's going to
be
forever and those that are clever enough
to trust in hasem and continue and never
kill themselves never do any harm to
themselves but continue moving forward
continue continue praying to hasem see
that that horrible situation
passed we
overcame we're going to overcome
overcome these
problems and they see wow the headache
is gone the infection is gone the
toothache is gone the financial problems
are
gone a woman that was Barren now has
kids a man that was single and he was
already in his 40s found a wife
can you ever repay a for what he gave
you any one of those can you ever repay
him can you ever repay for any one thing
no and this is what the is saying to
you saying to us this is really for all
of mankind can you ever repair k no even
if you're the most righteous of
righteous of righteous you're do K and
you spread toah in 15 different
languages in Mandarin in in uh in uh
Korean in uh Spanish in uh Russian in
French German English Hebrew and
whatever other topic you possibly can or
language you can you're doing everything
you possibly can for's children to learn
the truth of the Tor and you're doing
and you're sacrificing your life you're
sacrificing your time you're sacrificing
your health you're sacrificing your
money you're sacrificing your wellbeing
can all of that righteousness compared
to even one good thing that did for you
no and this is the
reason
says
why does not elaborate on reward and
Punishment in the world to come in the
Tora because the practice of goodness is
two
kinds one of these is concealed only a
who observes it he sees what's he's the
only one that knows that now you're
happy he's the only one that knows that
now you're
depressed and he's the one that gives
you all of the opportunities to make
things better the kindness that he gives
you is behind the scenes it's not some
big bank account that all of a sudden
appeared it's not a treasure that
everybody could realize no it's the
feeling in your heart a feeling you wake
up in the morning and you feel like
you're loved by your loved ones and not
just a one-way
Street a feeling that you have of
confidence in whatever it is that you're
dedicated to a feeling of of connection
to gives you
that this is a reward that only he knows
about and of course you're the one that
feels the other kind is observable it's
physical movement that's not concealed
from people bigger house cars kids wife
husband and so
on in so many
words when a person evaluates all of the
kindness that aadh gives
them even if you don't look at the
material that everybody sees the bank
account that you have or the house that
you have or the kids that you have or
the family you have or the company you
have or whatever it is that you have
that everybody sees even if you don't
address that you just simply address the
stuff that no one sees that only a knows
about can you ever repay him for the
feeling you have when you are
happy genuinely
happy the feeling you have that you have
a purpose in the
world can you ever repay him for feeling
love
and receiving
it can you ever repay
him
this is a lesson of all
lessons
that is trying to teach
us
that we are
performing all of the mitv
for the sake of the Union of the Holy
One and is to give pleasure to the
Creator blessed is
he and the
says require kavana there are some that
say that you still fulfill the
obligation even if you don't have kavana
but needless to say in order for us to
give this pleasure to the
Creator we have to have our hearts in
tuned with our
purpose our hearts in tuned with the
Creator that we're doing
this to bring Pleasant pleasure to him
but what is this pleasure to him after
we've learned that even if we were the
most righteous people on planet Earth
We're still indebted to him we can still
never pay him enough so what does it
mean that we give him
pleasure
Rashad writes in the place where we talk
about
the the incense offering he says that
when brings the incense offering
it's it's a pleasing smell to hem but of
course we know hem doesn't smell eat see
the physical
attributes so what does it mean says
rash
hem created the world in order to
instill good he is the ultimate
good and he wants to give us good
meaning that his
will is in order to justify the good
that he gives us so when we do his will
such as bring the or say a blessing or
givea or learn Torah or all of the mitv
that we do we are in essence bringing
pleasure to hasem not that he Satisfied
by it where he gets some type of
physical pleasure like you get from
eating a steak or eating ice cream no
where he sees that his children are
doing what he put them in the world to
do and therefore he can now fulfill his
Ultimate Will and purpose of this world
which is to justify giving us the good
that he wants to give us now you would
ask why can't he just give it to us
anyway
well he did before we came to this world
but we didn't we since we were
created in His image if you will not
image physical image where we have the
ability to decipher right and
wrong anyone that gets everything for
free
eventually feels bad about
it if you're a normal
person you start disliking or even
becoming tortured by the good that you
get without a purpose so if you give
your
children a present every day for no
reason they woke up here's a present
they ate present they didn't eat present
they did something good present they
they did something bad present guess
what in no time those kids are not going
to Value the
presents but if you give them a present
because they just completed a SE
they just learned they did a on one of
the books that you bought them that
learned t or they cleaned their room or
they helped their parents or they
improved Their Manners or they
apologized or whatever it is they did
something
good guess what whether that present is
big or
not very valuable or not to them it
certainly holds a lot more value why
because they earned it the same thing is
with everybody else adults
if a person earns something they value
it much
more that created us with his name
within
us created us with a nature where we're
not looking for free
gifts we want to earn them we want to
earn our place we want to earn our
purpose and since he is good he created
us with a good
nature and the good nature cannot be
good if it's only
receiving good wants to instill good
that's what good is if you're a person
that's just a taker you only want to
take free stuff free teaching free books
free money free this free free free free
free and you don't contribute guess what
you are a miserable person without even
knowing you I can tell you for sure
you're a miserable person why because
good is only created through giving not
by
taking not by taking especially if you
take a lot you start hating the
giv so
now rash says when aadh created the
world he is the ultimate good and he
wanted to instill good he wanted to give
us good but in order for us to enjoy the
good we had to earn it and
therefore he put us in this world in
order for us to earn it by over
overcoming the
obstacles the obstacles that look
enticing because it's temporary good
temporary good of immorality temporary
good of stealing temporary you know not
good as temporary benefit the benefit of
stealing so you have it now instead of
working for it the benefit of immorality
so you have her now instead of earning
it but the temporary
benefit eventually he detested
it's never
appreciated in fact it never creates
happiness but if a person
truly does the will of
hem they do good and they earn
good and when aadh sees that his
children are doing his will which is to
their
benefit the words that it say it gives
pleasantness to Hashem simply means that
he sees that his children are doing his
will and thereby he could reward them
which is his will
also and they will enjoy the reward that
he gives them because they earned
it
this
is most applicable
when it comes to
relationship where
anytime there is
love you have
everything if you don't have love you
have
nothing
now is asking
us to give us his
heart to give us our heart give him our
heart
when we serve him when we pray when we
eat when we study when we give when we
contribute whatever it is that we're
doing is teaching us that we must take
upon
ourselves
to have the right cavana meaning have
our
hearts invested in our actions and not
just do
things in a way where it's like robotic
in a way where it's just like a
reflex you just pray because it's the
time to pray you just study because you
have nothing else to do or that's what
everybody else is doing in the
Yesa if
we bring our hearts and put our hearts
into it we'll have every benefit from it
when we don't put our hearts into it
unfortunately turns into a curse and
that's why the teaches the can
be or some it could either be the drug
of life or the drug of death if somebody
invest everything that they have into
learning Torah in order to fulfill it
the Torah is the drug of life it
literally brings life into a
person they're happy naturally they
don't need any outside factors to
stimulate their happiness whether it be
money or or or or or anything else any
type of physicality they're happy
naturally they're optimistic
naturally they have a purpose naturally
they don't need anyone to influence them
why because to does everything for them
they have a deep connection with why
because they're learning to
fulfill but if a person studies Tah
but not to fulfill it rather to argue
with against it rather to contradict it
rather to forsake it rather to just
simply for the sake of knowledge but not
necessarily for the sake of application
then the Torah becomes some of it the
drug of death meaning that they actually
become worse of a person as a result of
it because what aad is telling us he
wants our
heart and
really you could apply this to all types
of relationships not just the
relationship that you have between you
and
a even the relationship that a student
has with their Rabbi or a man has with
his wife a wife has with a
husband or you have with your
kids if a
person understands the significance of
of this they'll easily understand what
the sages
taught in the and in
many one man went into the market crying
out saying when we were in love we could
both
stand on the tip of a
knife together in comfort and
happiness but now that there's no
love even a field
the size of what's comparison today a
football field and a
half is too small for both of us to be
in
together meaning that when there's
love and that love is not based on him
giving her something her giving him
something it's not based on any
material that it doesn't matter if
there's material
if there's true love between a couple
where he loves her for who she is and
he's going to do everything possible to
help her life help her happiness help in
any way make her
happy in any way that he has if he has
money he uses money and he's not
cheap if he has intellect he uses
intellect and he's not
distant if he has good words to say he's
generous with his
words he's there to better her life
without
ever doing it for the sake of her giving
it back to him and how do we know she
loves him because she does the same
thing she is looking to make his life
better in any way that's within her
means if she has resources she gives him
the
resources if she has the uh the ability
to bring uh to cook food she'll cook
food for him if she has the ability to
fix something she fixes something if she
has the ability to teach something she
teaches something if she has the ability
to share her you know uh be an emotional
support intellectual support she's there
whatever is within her ability whatever
is within within her resources she's
willing to give it all to him with no
limitations without ever expecting him
to return anything back to her
but if it's like unfortunately a lot of
The Superficial relationships that are
temporary then
people make their relationships based on
something he is with her so long as she
looks a certain
way he is with her so long as she
acts a certain way in his a uh Society
he wants her to obey his command like
she's some
servant of course a good woman follows
her husband but some people take this
too far to the point where they
literally think that their wives are
slaves where he could do whatever he
wants including adultery but she can't
say anything about it unfortunately this
disastrous type of mentality is very
common today
and unfortunately some women and I'm
telling you from real stories people
that have come to
me they didn't realize the mistake that
they were making when they were marrying
a man for
money because she said listen I didn't
come from a rich house I was okay but he
has very very successful and he was nice
to me at the time and I wanted to have a
nice house and a certain place and uh so
okay but what about everything else the
relationship the purpose no you know
that wasn't necessarily a priority well
guess what they got married she had
three four five kids and now all of a
sudden Mr Wonderful he's not as
attracted to her as he was when she was
a
20-year-old thin before pregnancy woman
so now he decides that he's going to
find somebody
else and has so
much that he doesn't even hide it
he doesn't even hide
it when she tells him what's this oh
yeah yeah that's that's my girlfriend
what what what's the problem what do you
mean we're married five kids he goes
well if you don't like it do something
about
it you want to leave leave you and the
five
kids this human
waste used her abused her and there's
nothing that she feels she can do about
it and if this was one story I wouldn't
even tell you unfortunately these are
numerous stories and they keep coming in
women that married for
money end up regretting the day they
were
born end up regretting the day they were
born why because at some
point they realized that they married
for money he married for looks when her
looks
changed his money didn't change so he
thinks he deserves
looks somewhere else physical somewhere
else and what about the kids that I gave
him yeah thank you you got the kids too
yeah but what about I cooked I cleaned I
helped I this yeah good you benefited
from it too but still I want the
20-year-old I still wanted this and this
demented disgusting mentality is coming
today and the moment anyone doesn't like
it what Divorce
Court divorce court and if you think
this is just the rich people people
problem you're wrong rich people poor
people people marry for looks people
marry for money people marry for
position people marry for status people
marry for all types of superficial
reasons and the sages already told told
us in
the a love that's dependent on something
is a love that will not exist it won't
last a love that does not depend on
anything that love will last the love
that has for us is not dependent on
anything the love that Amel has to their
creator must not depend on
anything so much so that
the Tau his
great that even if somebody learns T and
does but for the sake of going to heaven
it's not
really it's not t for the sake of
bringing honor to hem it's toah for a
reward he said you should aim to serve
AEM with
complete complete heart what's a
complete heart you're not even thinking
about reward you're allowed to think
about reward but the reward should not
motivate
you you should serve hasem because
you're indebted to him
you should serve hem because it's good
to do good and you want to emulate the
ultimate good which is
HEM and therefore when there is a
relationship where that relationship
depends on something it's only a matter
of time before that relationship
deteriorates and eventually ends who
wants a wife that's only there when he
has money would you want to be married
to a woman that so long as you had a lot
of money
and you were able to give her a card
that she could buy whatever she
wants and that's the way she's going to
be there for you but the minute that you
don't have that your credit card gets
declined that the bank is telling you
please give us the plastic back maybe
we'll be able to get a couple of pennies
from it because getting payments from
you is not going to
happen there's no money to buy anything
you barely have enough money to pay the
rent pay the mortgage pay the food and
all of a sudden your wife
doesn't treat you the same way like I
didn't you cook anything uh yeah but I
ate it already why don't you cook for me
oh well you cook for
yourself what there's no other food no
there's food but I figured uh you know
since you're not bringing any money why
should I cook for you what what what do
you mean but you're eating at least make
for me no no no why you make more money
I'll cook for you does anybody want to
marry a woman like
this raise your hand if you want to
marry a woman like this that only cook
cooks for you only cleans for you only
says hello to
you if you give her a spending account
if you give her whatever physical
possession she wants in the minute you
don't want that's it she doesn't want to
talk to you you want to marry somebody
like this even the Satan doesn't want to
marry somebody like
this who wants to marry somebody like
this but unfortunately that's what we
have in the world today we have in the
world today people that literally set
themselves up for this he sells them
self to her based on listen I have money
you want money so therefore we should be
together he's not thinking that maybe
one day he's gonna since life is a
circle as the wife OFA said to him that
you could be rich today but since the
circle you could be poor one day he's
not thinking about the day he's going to
be poor he thinks he's since he's Rich
today he's going to be rich forever and
he has no problem selling himself and
pitching himself as if listen you should
be with me cuz I have money and she says
fine you know what I do want
money so I'll marry you as long as you
give me whatever I
want but the moment
money stops the well is
dry the river becomes a dirt
road no more credit cards no more new
dresses no more new
shoes he even has to sell her jewelry
just so they could have some some food
to eat all of a sudden she starts
looking at her options who else is
available does anybody want to marry a
woman like this now everyone's going to
say no but how many of
you are in a situation like that or know
somebody that's in a situation like
that I know everyone is raising their
hand right now even without seeing your
hands everyone knows somebody why
because Society has trained people to to
build these types of relationships
superficial types of relationships where
you have to bring something in order to
get something it's more like a business
transaction on Wall Street than it is a
marriage like our
forefathers the same goes in the
opposite
where the husband is only willing to
share what he has to offer
whether it be his money or his time as
long as she looks like she did when he
first married her the second she gains a
few extra pounds the second she has some
type of skin condition she doesn't know
the solution for the second she is not
in the most pristine mood as if she was
just born into the world with happiness
she's a little depressed she's a little
Moody all of a sudden he doesn't want to
come home tonight honey where are you
um I'm with my friends what do you mean
with your friends it's already 12:00 at
night yeah I don't think I'm going to
come home today why why not is that
something good yeah everything's good
just I'm not coming home today when are
you coming home I don't know he doesn't
come home for a week why because she
doesn't look like the same because she's
this because she's that he doesn't want
to be the support for her would you ever
want to marry a guy like this that he's
only there for you when you're happy
when you look your best when everything
is perfect
it's like as if she's he's only married
to you when you went to the mik but if
you're n he's out of the mouth he's out
of the house he doesn't want to be there
half the month he's with his friends he
goes on vacation with his friends every
month you want to marry a guy like this
which woman wants to marry G like this
well guess what if your main selling
point in life in your relationships was
your good looks you are setting yourself
up to be that miserable woman that one
day has a husband who's disgusted by
her not just doesn't want to be
disgusted by her why cuz he's thinking
look when I got
married I had a million I had 2 million
I had five million and she looked like
arm
candy now I got 50
million she she looks more like a
keg why do I deserve this why is she
doing this to me why this why
that why does he say this because he got
into this relationship because you
pitched yourself you brought yourself
you represented yourself as a blessing
to the world in physicality the minute
that blessing turned into
normaly he doesn't want it anymore
he thinks that you're hurting him do you
want to be in a relationship like that
well if you keep walking around imod for
the world to see what your bodies looks
like when they're not supposed to
know that's what you're going to
have why because it's a love that's not
real it's a love that is based on
something the same goes for
relationships that people have with with
their
rabbis if the person is only willing to
teach people that donate a lot of money
then guess what they're willing to teach
no one they're just willing to sell
information like a data
company they're only willing to
distribute information to people that
are willing to pay for it so that's not
a rabbi that loves people that's a rabbi
that's willing to give information two
people that happen to have bank accounts
that are operational and happen to have
a lot of numbers in
there but the same goes otherwise if
you're only willing to listen to what
the Rabbi says so long as it agrees with
your
predisposition with what you already
feel is right or you're only willing to
listen to the rabbi as long as he
doesn't need any money from you for his
organization because you don't want it
to cost anything you're not willing to
contribute back then guess what you are
being that person that you don't want to
be that that you that you don't want
someone to be like that to you you just
want to be a
taker where if you're a person that's
only willing to listen to things that
you already agree with then that means
you're not looking to
learn you're looking for Yes
Men and a relationship that is a such is
not a relationship with real
love it's a relationship that is
temporary and unfortunately one of the
things that you learn the more you do
this the more you teach people the more
you reach out the more people reach out
to you is the more you see who's real
and who's fake they can call you mashia
one day and then they'll call you the
Satan's son the next day how could such
a thing happen very simple you are
mashiah so long as you didn't rebuke
them for the wrong they were doing the
minute you reuk Reed them the minute you
told them that the M that you teach
applies to them all of a sudden you are
the enemy all of a sudden you're not
good or worse
yet if you were
available at certain times but you're
not available at other times all of a
sudden no you're not good I'm going to
have to find somebody that's more
available wait so you want me to be what
like a like like your Shadow I have to
be available at will like that's it like
just like when you log on to your your
email and it turns on you want me to
Simply stop the tens of thousands of
people also and just attend to
you and the minute you don't answer the
minute you do anything you're no good
anymore these types of
experiences they're a necessary part of
the painful path to good because in
order for person that truly appreciate
good they have to see both sides they
have to see this is the good one this is
the bad
one now one of
the Beautiful Stories that I heard from
my r that shows
the love of a between a rabbi and a
talmid is a study is a story about one
of the great Giants in the past
generation
he was KES
Kim he was someone that had
extraordinary memory
abilities and
suffering and he had a Yesa with 4,000
students and other places with thousands
of others literally the budget was tens
of millions of dollars tens of millions
of dollars that he had to raise to
continuously to fund all of this
just to be able
to
remember all of the names you would
think I mean literally you need a
computer but it's not really just
remembering 4,000 names because every
year there's more coming
in
anyway in the SE
called tells a story
about where American parents came to the
for
advice he told him they have a
17-year-old
kid that uh unfortunately he's a not
only a
troublemaker because if you're a
troublemaker but at least you're really
really smart you're a genius you know
eventually you could get the trouble out
and just keep the genius but he was not
only a troublemaker but he was
also a little bit clueless let's just
say that and they said listen we both
work we don't have time to Babys seit
this kid what can we do with him he got
kicked out of every
Yeshiva goes to thisa they don't want
him that yes they don't want him like
he's not doesn't want to do anything he
just causes
trouble says to them bring him to
me bring him to me I'll take care of
him the parents they don't really know
what their son who's clueless is going
to do at the top Yesa in the world but
if the rabbi wants wants the babysit him
for a little while longer fine great
we'll take
it the kid goes there 17-year-old
kid goes the rabbi designates a for him
to learn with of course the kid is
struggling just to sit there even but
you know he goes through the motions for
a little
while after a few months the rabbi
announces that he's going to he's
inviting whoever wants to come no one's
obligated to come but whoever wants to
come to the rabbi's house he's going to
have a of
M and whoever wants to come comes of
course bunch of people come and this kid
comes the 17-year-old attends and the
rabbi is talking
about how to attain the love of Torah
and he's talking about the love of Torah
passionately and anyone that saw saw a
video of the rabbi or saw had the Merit
to see him in real life knows that to
see the rabbi you know move and so on
it's very very troubling he had
Parkinson's suffered tremendously but
you'd never see his face without a smile
always smiling from ear to ear but
suffering endlessly and he's teaching
them that in order to have love of the
toah to acquire the love of toah
requires not a minute less of learning
12 hours per
day 12 hours per day if you want to
acquire the love of
toah and he
says and I'm willing to give anyone
here that is willing to take learning 12
hours per day every day for the next
week a thousand shekels this stories
about 30 40 years ago thousand shekels
still meant something back then
so now even though this 17-year-old
Troublemaker whose Kess wasn't exactly
a but he knew business he knew a
thousand shekels sounds good he said I'm
going to try it why not so the next day
he's with
hisab the first hour goes by
smooth second hour a little more
difficult but he goes there sticks with
it third hour he's starting to lose his
mind a little bit three hours straight
learning
to smoke is starting to come out of the
ears already he's having a tough time
but he thousand shekels thousand shekel
a lot of
money it's a lot of money I only to do
it just just for six days six days
that's it it's all I got to do it's not
even a full week not seven days six days
that's it six days 12 hours a day got a
th000
shels push on fourth hour fifth Tower
changes maybe somebody else maybe he
could talk to him instead of just
listening and uh he does whatever he can
long story short he survives the day 12
hours at the end of the day he can't
believe he did it I don't know how I'm
going to have the energy to do it again
tomorrow but we'll try the next day same
thing starts off the day an hour two
hours 3 hours 4 hours struggling
literally just doing everything he
possibly can to stick with it always
thinking about thousand shekels thousand
shekels by the end of the second day he
is his brain is fried practically he's
like oh I did it but there's no way I'm
gonna have the energy to do this
tomorrow studying for 12
hours for anyone who hasn't done it
don't think for a second don't think for
a second that it's anywhere near easy
studying t for 12 hours certainly will
will be the most difficult thing you've
done in your life needless to say if you
do it on a regular
basis this is not just listening to
music for 12
hours it's using your brain full
capacity full Focus not just eating uh
buas and drinking coffee all day this is
serious studying 12 hours very difficult
third day he can't believe himself he
got the energy to start again
but by the end of the third day even
though he succeeded he's broken he's
said I can't I can't there's no way
there's no way in the world that I can
do this for another
day but then he thinks to himself what
how I just I just I did half I did
half and he starts praying to Hashem
please hasm help me help me do it for
the other half I did half you help me
with the other
half and he goes through the fourth day
he has the
energy he brings it out of him and he
survives the fourth
day he survives the fifth
day he survives the sixth day he
completes six days of learning to 12
hours per
day now after this he goes to the
rabbi's
house and he comes to the rabbi Rabbi is
sitting
a beautiful smile on his face despite
the agony and pain that he has
Non-Stop and he says to the rabbi the I
don't know if you believe me but after
you said the studying the 12 hours I
took upon myself to do it and I did it I
really did study for 12 hours a day for
the last
week at that
moment got up he was a very tall man but
it was very difficult for him to
move and he got up
slowly and started walking towards this
kid and he's slowly and slowly getting
closer and closer to
him and
eventually he gets to
him the kid doesn't know what to
expect and the rabbi hugs him and gives
him a warm kiss on the CH and then takes
a th000 shekels and gives it to
him the kid's so
excited that when he leaves the house he
can't believe that the rabbi the
sadik The KES
kashim just gave him a kiss on the cheek
such love from the rabbi he never felt
such love in his life he didn't even
care about the Thousand
shekels and this inspired the this kid
to continue learning now although he
wasn't able to study the 12 hours every
day but he did dedicate more and more
time to learning to and he stayed in the
Yeshiva for the next two
years after two
years it was time to go back to America
and he wanted to continue learning and
of course it's customary that when you
leave one Yesa to go to another you get
a letter of
recommendation and it's many of the have
practically like a template yes this is
one of our students he's a good guy and
you know accept him thank you very much
and so
on but when the kid went
to again remember this is
a that at all times there are 4,000
students and there are new ones coming
in an enormous amount of
people the kid is not even sure if the
rabbi's going to remember who he is it's
not like he's learning with them
oneon-one every day or anything
thousands of kids huge huge facility
enormous amount of K but he goes to the
rabbi's house and he says for the if you
could please uh write me a letter of
recommendation I'm going to go to theine
Lakewood by over days there was shine I
need a letter if the rabbi would mind
please give me one so they accept
me the rabbi
not
only writes the letter but he remembers
who this kid is he remembers that this
kid learned 12 hours a day for a week he
remembers
everything and he writes the kid a
special
letter
Toler and he says in all of my days I
have never seen such elevation of spirit
uality as I saw with this young
man the kid gets the letter of all
letters to bring to the ISA of Lakewood
and continue his
learning now you would ask yourself with
most people that work in a company that
has 30 40 50 people surely they don't
know everybody's
name you may know your coworker your
direct colleagues but but most likely
you don't know what the janitor's name
is you don't know what the cleany
people's names are you don't know what
the door man's name
is needless to say if you work in a big
company with 4,000
employees most people don't even know
who works there needless to say their
names here we
see not only knowing the names but
knowing everything that happened with it
every single boy do you know why he knew
because when there is
love you
remember you
remember and
this is one of the things
that
if a person understands their role in
the
world they're not going to just
do what the Torah say to do just because
they were programmed to do
it they're not even going to Aspire to
do it just for the sake of getting a
reward for it or eliminating the
punishment but rather
because they want to have love
for and it's very easy for a person to
find the reasons of why they should love
AEM if they simply count the endless
blessings that they have and miracles
they have every single day a person that
does not have happiness is a person that
does not know their creator because if
you knew their your creator if you knew
all the kindness that your creator is
giving you you'd be happy just simply
for that even if you are suffering with
certain parts of your life you'll find a
lot of happiness with others you'll see
a
connection and that's
why says that it doesn't matter what
you're doing whether it's Torah study
Prayer performance of any of the MIT
regardless of what you're doing you have
to accustom yourself to say that you're
doing this for the sake of the Union of
the Creator to give pleasure to the
creator meaning you're doing it in
order to
show that you recognize he's your
creator you acknowledge that he's the
one and only God that you acknowledge
the fact that his will
will is to your benefit and when you
fulfill his
will he could even give you more good
than you can possibly imagine on your
own and that's
why and many of
the not only encouraged the to
sign where a Torah scholar would study
and a person that works in the business
world would contribute the donations and
give money to The
Scholar even though there were some
people that were worried because there
are some that say well if I'm studying
Torah and he's working yes I benefit
from the money that he gives me so I
could pay my bills but the amount of
reward that he's going to get for my
Torah learning is much greater than the
money that he's giving me and and I'm
afraid that according to some I lose 50%
I lose 50% of my mitv because he's the
one that's
donating says I'm not going to deal with
the aspect of it even though by the
way writes that someone that learns and
uh has the does not lose any of the of
the reward he still keeps 100% of the
reward and another 100% goes to the
person that invested in him but either
way even if you were to lose even if you
were to lose 50% of the reward for
learning to you should still be happy to
do it and anyone that do does not want
to sign
Sayan not because they already have
money or because they don't need more
but only because they don't want to lose
their reward he says anyone that does
not sign a Ison is selfish
why
selfish because you're studying toah
purely for the reward and you want to
keep 100% of the
reward while although that seems logical
you're ignoring the fact that due to
your selfishness of wanting to keep the
100% of the reward another Jew is not
going to be able to fulfill a Mitzvah
that brings
to so you don't really care about
bringing n to to hasm you just care
about your
reward what kind of scholar are
you and when it tell heard this they
understood there's much more of a
purpose than you knowing more Torah you
knowing more knowledge it's
also to
bring to sanctify the name of a to be
able to
say I filled my
purpose who created the world for his
glory for his name to be everywhere for
all of us to serve him for all of us to
be able to justify the good that he
gives us and wants to give
us and by me getting another Jew to
learn toah to support toah to follow
mitv to fulfill
them that means that
has more Jews in the world doing his
will that means it's going to be even
more to and not like the Heretics that
think that oh if you're giving to hasem
that means he needs
you dust will be put into the mouth of
people that think such a thing and say
such
things doesn't need anything he is
perfect in every shape of the way beyond
our
comprehension that
is for our purpose it's for our
sake he wants to give us good he doesn't
need to give us
good he's already perfect but because
his will is to bring more good to the
world benefit more people than when we
do his will we justify getting that
benefit we'll be able to enjoy that
benefit there is no need on his part in
any part of him
but the only reason why people say such
things is because what ends up happening
is that they want to glorify themselves
rather than
God so they start off with well these
MIT I don't really want to do them
so if God needs them that means that I
could help
him now once a person starts thinking
that way they turn the
Creator the master into the servant into
the
recipient which also means that they
could also justify to stop giving to the
recipient if the
recipient really being the master
doesn't give them what they
want you see this whole thing this whole
psychology of heresy it's not based on
just the ego of thinking that God needs
you it's
also making people think that if you
serve God that means he owes
you so you can serve him so long as he
gives you good because he needs the mitv
according to the Heretics which means
that if he's not giving you the good if
instead of giving you what you think is
good he gives you October 7th then you
could be
like and Manis and the rest of the her
itics that have all types of convoluted
claims against God well if he's not
doing good for us then he's going to he
owes us or he he should say sorry and
all types of stupid things it's hard for
me to repeat the
stuff so what ends up happening abai
when a
person failed at the first part of the
lesson which is to first and foremost
understand that before you even talk
about bringing to hasem you first have
to know where you
stand and even if you are at the top of
the ladder
of as
the said as the said as the rest of
the the the everywhere you go there is
levels top level you're the highest of
high
you're the that does K that goes from
place to place that brings more people
to
Hashem even
then the greatest good you've ever done
does not amount to even the smallest
reward that a gave you as the said which
we read to you even if you have merits
like grains of sand it still does not
compare to the smallest amount of good
that gives you whether it's Vision
hearing air food and so on and so forth
so when a person understands the
foundation of where they started they
start in is that automatically you're
brought into this world you're already
in debt that you can never pay
back which automatically means that if
you are in debt you can never
ever give a uh a surplus
to your debt holder meaning that so long
as you carry the debt there's no such
thing as giving the uh the debt
owner
extra because you first have to pay your
debt it's like if somebody for example
owes the bank $100
million they owe $100
million and the bank is willing to take
payments how much you paying $1,000 a
month okay fine the bank is a great bank
it's only taking $1,000 a month even
though you own $100 million now one
month you have a really good month and
you decide I'm going to pay the bank
$10,000 you know what
$100,000 you go to the bank oh pumped up
make a big payment six fig
check yeah where's the vice president of
the of this branch he's in an
appointment now I need to talk to him
okay one second sir just wait your turn
no no no it needs to be now I'm making a
big payment right
now okay they get the vice president oh
yeah hi hi Mr Ren how are you yeah
listen I know you're expecting only
$1,000 towards my payment but look I
want to help you out so here I had a
good month is
$100,000 okay thank you sir what that's
it thank you
I should get uh party over here for giv
100,000 You Should Be Dancing over here
you should be celebrating me and the
vice president the rest of the employees
are looking at you like you're
crazy and then you stop yourself and you
realize why aren't they all
impressed and then the Vice President
says to you listen Sirah I don't want to
embarrass you but even though we
appreciate that instead of $1,000 a
month you just made a payment of
$100,000
uh when you compare that to the loan
outstanding that you have of a $100
million it's
inconsequential it's
inconsequential so
therefore when a person
understands the
foundation which is that we are forever
indebted to a
and the debt continues to grow every
single
second and
therefore when you're
bringing it is
never In Your Wildest Dream ever to his
benefit as there is no such thing you
could ever do to benefit him but
rather his will is to give you even
another 100 $ million and by you doing
his will by you giving that
$100,000 he can now justify in his
endless kindness that he has to give you
another $100 million even though you can
never pay back even the first 10000
million he's still going to give you
another 100 million now you
understand
this is
what is telling us that when we serve a
we have to start thinking about how much
we are indebted to him and how much
kindness he gives us even though we are
indebted to him the least we can do is
serve him with our
hearts not because it's ever going to
pay back the
loan but simply because it's the least
we can
do and if that's too much for us let's
at least try that the next time we make
a blessing you actually think about the
blessing the next time you pray actually
think about the prayer think about hasem
and not your stock portfolio or your
schedule at work or what you have to buy
at the grocery store think about the
actual
prayer and if you can't think about the
actual prayer the whole time you're
praying at least think about the prayer
when you're saying the when you're
saying think about dying on
Kem think about at least
Hashem
try and if you try there's no doubt in
my mind you'll be able to
succeed because at the end of the
day is the one that's pushing you anyway
you just have to push you just have to
go in the right direction that he's
pushing you thank you very much for
learning with me May bless each and
every one of you that's learned learning
in order for the sake of doing anyone
that wants to help and become partners
with us in the not just the ongoing K
and teachings that we're doing to become
a partner to be one of
these
like even without being shm by being the
fourth level that gains from the first
level you could donate at BH tor.org
you can support the current campaign
that we have that for the big event
coming up uh just the next few weeks
inia to bring protection to is
especially in that section of the world
you could help us in general either way
there's a lot that we can do especially
if you guys help us and become partners
with us thanks again for learning with
us may bless everyone we'll learn more

anti
don't waste your times with people that
are atheists don't waste your time with
people that are openly homosexual and
are enemies of asem don't waste your
time with people that are vulgar and
disgusting and simply do want to do not
want to change don't waste your time
with people that have an ego bigger than
this room don't waste your time with
them why because there are too many
people that are more humble that are at
a position of their life where they
realize they need to change there are
too many people that are interested in
the more significant and more purposeful
life too many people like that go to
