Rav God’l Eisner was the Mashgiach in Ger in Eretz Yisroel. He was a bastion of courage in the concentration camps. An amazing person. Just one quick story. There was a young boy that was beaten by the Germans and he was bleeding to death. And he said: I want to die, I want to die. And Rav God’l went over to him and said: So die already. Everyone has to sleep. Everyone has to sleep and imagine a star. And he got up and said to Rav God’l: How can you be so insensitive to me? Oh, so you don't want to die? I see you're upset. So you really want to live? Don't say you want to die. And by the way, I have a Shidduch for you. Right after the war, talk to me. In the DP camps, Rav God’l is sitting there, there's a knock on the door. There's a young bochur. Remember me? -No. You said you had a Shidduch for me. I want to tell you something. That night, you gave me the courage to live. This is who Rav God’l is. So a Bochur comes in to Rav God’l Eisner, and he says to him: Rebbe, I give up on my Shemiras Einayim. I can't tell you what I saw today. I'm finished. I just, I can't, I can't fight it anymore. Rav God’l said: What? You can't fight it anymore? And that's what you’re going to keep looking at? Get out of my house! Whoa. So he walks out of the house, and by the time he gets to the bottom of the stairs, Rav God’l ran around the back door and he's standing there and he goes: I love you. I just wanted to prove a point. Your body is your house. Your mind is your house. Your heart is your house. You can tell anyone to get out of your house. Don't tell me you can't.
