[Music] gud is very unique that we deal with children need a little help need a little [Music] push 30 years ago my parents were faced with a choice whether or not to send uh one of my siblings to a public school or start a school so they made the choice at that point to start a school the real goal is a whole and complete child there's no need that a parent has to decide between a top tier differentiator special education and a Jewish Education with the professionalism and the organization and the teachers that we have able to cross that bridge for them to get them to be re acclimated into the mainstream beauty of gisher is that you still part of the community children are learning about Shabbat and parha and Haim geser is a Hidden Gem in the community I don't think people understand what was here I had my son in a city school it was very draining for him he came this year to the school and the environment is just fantastic he comes home happy it's in our backyard this school is for children who are struggling academically because of a language based learning difficulty we have up to 10 students per class the teacher can call on you very uh frequently so you get told a lot of answers you don't sleep during class my favorite subject in guess hudah is math cuz we need it for business when we're older what I think stands out most about Gasher Yuda is that we are able to achieve the perfect balance of both professionalism and warmth the children feel so special here they are so loved they're finally feeling success which is something as parents we all want for our children the goal of gisher is to mainstream back all students to our main they come here they can feel whole and they can feel complete and then they can go back into the world and understand how to advocate for what they need based on their uh challenges look how many kids have graduated git and gone on to become businessmen and woman successful Community Advocates what is special about GHA Yehuda is that each child has their own individualized curriculum we uh like to use a bottomup approach to get to the source of why a child may be struggling and we will therefore take professional development courses and be in the know of all the Cutting Edge research we have a sensory gym where the students um have OT and physical therapy our Judea studies program parallels our General Studies program as when we teach Hebrew subjects we incorporate and reinforce the same strategies and techniques that they use when teaching English reading math our main goal is to make sure that they're able to be comfortable with the and to be true thriving community members very fortunate to have Rosa he's been in Rosa for over 20 years he comes here the kids are so excited to see him I'm there every week I'm testing them they know how to learn gimar these kids they pray according to our tradition our teachers here have special ed certifications our assistants have full training we spent a lot of time talking to parents about their child what progress we see what progress we want to see the teachers are so caring the rabbis you know they call up they care for the kids as if it's their own when I first came here I needed really help with reading a lot and writing and now my reading skills have went through the roof and my writing is way more neater the only way that they can become successful adults is by being successful children and GUI hood is the first step in that direction overall the feedback has been a while I wish I knew about this place sooner I didn't know about geser when my girls needed help and I wish I did I highly recommend other parents that feel that their kids need a smaller environment setting to come check it out there's nothing to lose thank God my wife and I are so happy with the decision we made if you feel that your child May benefit from our school I would really invite you down to come take a tour see what we're all about learn more and if you're the right fit we would love to have you I really do encourage everybody that has a need to come out and see gisher I guarantee you'll be very impressed
