Uh hi everyone in Ramapo. So this is uh
part two of the storm. This is round two
this morning. So after last night uh
after last night, our drivers were able
to get some sleep as required by law. Of
course, for liability purpose purposes,
so they were able to sleep overnight and
they started back up again at around
4:00 this morning. Uh making rounds on
all the plow roots. Uh the goal being to
salt and to break up the uh whatever's
on the ground and to push it off. and
that's been done and for the most part I
believe the roads in Ralpho look
excellent. Uh thank God we've been got
we've gotten a lot of compliments.
There's still some issues here and there
that we're are dealing with of course as
in any sauna of this size. Uh but we're
taking them one by one. Uh I would also
like to thank PD for all the help and
again for the cooperation of residents
for as best as possible keeping off the
roads and for not parking their cars in
the street. However, now we find
ourselves faced with another little
problem, and that is that as the cleanup
starts for individual uh homeowners, uh
contractors or homeowners themselves are
pushing the snow into the streets into
into recently plowed streets, which
obviously is causing the streets to
become covered over again. Um it is a it
is illegal to push uh snow into the
street out of the rightway. Uh and
again, of course, you're you're just
putting more snow back on the roads that
have been freshly cleared. So, please be
cognizant of that when you clear your
driveways and if your plow contractors
or landscapers or whomever uh clears the
roads for you. And hopefully we'll get
through this. And again, you can call
the highway department for any
individual issues that do come up. But
please be patient. We're getting there.
And also, we will be starting cleaning
the culde-sacs. A lot of the culde-sacs,
the way that plowed piles up a lot of
snow in the center of a culdesac, uh
it's going to require loaders and uh and
big box trucks to uh to actually cart
off a lot of the uh a lot of the
culde-sac snow that's been uh
accumulated over this past storm. So,
please be patient. We're going to be
starting that uh first thing tomorrow
morning. Thank you.
