okay it is something new happening here at fles located at 32 cross street right next to Lulu gingerbread scarpet shoes let's head inside here we have Morty mamit Morty hey what's going on tell us what's going on over here's good good we finally made this happen um my name is Morty some of you may recognize me from other establishments in Lakewood I've been doing this food industry for about 10 11 years give or take and um yeah we're here at FL now we recently purchased this um this is very very new so we've made a lot of a lot of great changes at fles including some of the menu items we've added menus we've taken away items we've made the kitchen much more efficient all that type of stuff let me one second before we continue let me ask you a question hope it's not going to bother you this question but there's so many food establish around this area I'm sure everyone is you know to the best that was the number one thing yeah that people what are you bringing to the table that's going to be something that people would want to enjoy your experience got you so there are there are a lot of great establishments in this neighborhood they all do great things at at different things my focus right now is to make sure that fles is maximized that we run an efficient ship and that's some of the some of the stuff we built a new menu we made sure that it was um extremely efficient that the kitchen runs properly that my my ticket times are quick I focus and try to get my tickets from when you order from when you order till you get your food is about4 to 6 minutes 7 minutes sometimes that's that's how we yeah we get it out we run it efficiently deliveries are the same way by the way we have a I use a delivery service that's located on the Block so when I call them for delivery they're here within 6 7 minutes so I get an order I text them hey Delivery 5 minutes and they're here so if you're local you're getting your delivery in under 30 minutes easy so that's another thing that we've we've really worked on um if you want to take a look some of the newer menu items that we have um this is the the pastrami dumplings we have like caramelized onions and pastrami in the dumplings this this has been probably one of the more popular items um another CLE we have the the P brisket tacos that's a really good one but this is the one I'm most proud of the honey barbecue steak skewers this is one of the best things on the menu price 12 I like it $15 yeah L it comes three sticks in a portion um it's absolutely delicious it's soft it's not chewy we worked very very hard on that um and it was uh you know that that's something I'm really proud of what's your main focused on sandwiches or finger food yeah so we really up upgraded the finger food appetizer part of it we have we added sandwiches and stuff like that but the appetizers we want people to have more than one good experience you get two three appetizers you have a great experience um that's something that we really really focused on we did add sandwiches one of the this is a funny one of the sandwiches we had is called the habanero chicken sandwich I've been doing this long enough to know that there are people in lakeood that love spicy food and buffalo sandwich is not is not spicy for them you know jalapenos are not spicy habanero chicken sandwich it is it is M you have no idea I never tried it of course not people ask me you tried it absolutely not I'm but people love it and they come in and they have it and it's not just spicy it's delicious and we and we we built that specifically to not just be you know crazy spice people love it and people come in for it and um it's been it's been it's been fantastic it's very spicy I get reactions people cry from it people you know one another thing that we focus on constantly is making sure that we are clean this is my kitchen this is you know this is we're this clean whether it's in the morning or it's 9:00 at night after a busy day you take a look at the hood this is something that we constantly clean inhouse every single day all my equipment if you notice all my equipment are on Wheels every night it's wheeled out it's cleaned behind everything is proficient I'm changing this oil constantly we filter the oil every single day after you know we make the Schnitzel and stuff like that this is um this is a big part of the business make sure that we are clean that we are everything is is running smoothly and efficiently so what's the wi let's say with the lishi man CH yes so we have a big we have a massive Thursday you know we have the CH we have the overnight kogo we have homemade kishka and gravy all that we have like the big platter if you want to challenge yourself I most people don't you know but if you want to go for it um we have that once in a while Thursday night we have live music in the store I'll clear out like this area you can go by you can go by um we clear out the area we have um a couple guys um by the way guys a big shout out to Schmitty Schmitty by the way I don't care what you say the best selling sandwiches okay yeah what's my sandwich the habanero it's now called the shmitty sandwich it's a problem not a problem but people come in let me get the shmitty sandwich and we absolutely guys no don't when you come in we got to change tell t f we want them to be the shmitty sandwich done got it that's that's the petition see you have me we have a lot of music that come in um we set up a shop over there we come in about 9:30 to about 12:00 and and um the neighbors don't like it but we'll unplug by 11 so it's not so loud and um yeah people come in people people enjoy it it's really really fun great what's the hours of the of the store yeah yeah I'm sorry so we open about 12:00 every day I'm here till 12:00 at night every single night and then Thursday we we um we're here till 1 great what's the phone number to call um I don't most people don't remember the
