Ellie Ellie was nice to meet you and
uh and you know special now with the
mental health
awareness you can just give me
like mental health with articles in the
you know English everybody bus somehow
ring mental health right right so people
are looking to live better lives people
are sick of living with pain and
darkness and lack of clarity not having
relationships people are really sick of
it again back in the day people were
busy with bigger things you know
survival and basic Pusa but now
everyone's everyone has their basic
needs taken care of as much as it's
difficult the basic needs are taken care
of and then we sort of everyone sort of
looks to improve their lives and that's
what we're holding today wow wow okay
but the main issue I think is um
help and also people were
afraid
picture you have a certain way how to
help people with the
situation
diag helped help right okay so to make
to make a long story short basically
what I'm doing is I'm I'm meeting people
I'm having consultations with them so
again consultation is a fancy word for a
one-time meeting where you're meeting
someone you're sort of getting their
whole story what's going on past current
symptoms how their life's not going well
now and sort of trying to help them
first of all get clarity on what's going
on so a lot of times people they come in
they they they hear they read a little
they read a little in the Ami living and
they heard this name this XYZ and this
thing and their wife told them this and
the sh or whatever it is and people
people are confused there's so much
information out there but sometimes
people really they don't have Clarity
they don't know what going on you know
even before therapy which is again
therapy brings people to Clarity but
even before that people just need to
know which direction they're going in
people need to know what their problem
is what they can do to help themselves
and and you know therapies I'm a big fan
of therapy that's what I do most of the
day is traditional therapy but at the
same time therapy is not the only answer
it's not the only way to heal it's not
the only way to get better there's many
ways to heal and that's what I'm trying
to do so in cson
basically regular therapist men
right so again thank God I'm blessed
I've done I've done three to 4,000
individual meetings with people intakes
and evaluations over the years thank God
I I never had a problem with people
opening up usually by the time people
are sitting sitting with me the story is
coming out I don't know exactly why it's
like that but thank God that is that's
that is the that's the story but yeah
sort of what we're doing is really
getting again it's a part of my
experience is giving me knowing which
questions to ask knowing to to get
straight to the straight to the points a
lot of times a lot of fluff there's a
lot of noise and the idea is to get
straight to to the main points you're
again you're taking the whole story but
you're getting straight to the main
points and and you're figuring out where
this person is struggling and and how he
can help himself so so there's two
pieces here there's perspective there's
the clarity right if I don't have
Clarity if I don't have DS I don't know
where to go right I first need to know
what's going on what's the problem what
are my behaviors or my thinking patterns
that are making things difficult for me
and then we can work towards Solutions
so sometimes again sometimes the answer
might be you you know would be really
helpful for you to go to therapy
sometimes the answer is hey you know go
read this book or you know you're not
you know you're struggling with self-
awareness or whatever it is so how about
you know go go go do some journaling
whatever it is finding a customade
solution for each person to be able to
help them so basically you're not
focusing on a long-term therapy
basically if somebody you know wants to
open themselves you do like a onetime
session session exactly and
the GU them how the next step is a lot
of times it's not going you know
therapy therapy right just do this
exercise go for this help go do that
right
sometimes book and
exactly again first of this is not a
commitment thing I I don't I don't want
to see people more than one or two three
times again you know it's even if it is
it's over a longer period well I'm
trying to do something a little
different it's not the weekly coming in
and doing ther which is beautiful but
sometimes there's really other ways how
to how to heal and to get better wow
unbelievable unbelievable fine
Ellie what's the next step if somebody
wants to reach out to you like if like
Vel reach out yeah so Reach Out best is
through text it's my number is 929 26957
one5 929 2695 715 cool text okay text is
the best and again just another added
perk that we're trying to do over here
is again sometimes the therapist office
could be uh I don't want to say skary
play scary is not the right word but
it's rigid it's it's it feels a little
bit boxy one of the things I'm doing is
I'm just trying to make it a little bit
more broad so again for the person who
wants to meet in in an office and have
that kind session beautiful you know for
some people they want they'd rather go
to a park and take a walk and which is
beautiful big of that you move and you
you you just your nature and it really
opens people up in an amazing way
walking hiking you know one person wants
to go to a restaurant you know talk over
steak a good same way you have a good
business meeting over steak a good a
good session talking about life and
really just trying to get clarity over
some good food good a good steak goes a
long way 100% wow
unbelievable Ellie v v where's your
office if someone wants to meet you in
person so we're located in M you know
that's that's where my office is but
again we go to Brooklyn we go to
Lakewood uh we can do Zoom sessions
again in person's better but um Zoom
sessions are great as well and sort of
you know we're here to help we're here
to help the people we're here to help
the people and whatever way we can do
that that's what we're here to do
