mental health is there you can't touch
it you can't feel it there's suffering
it's infiltrating the Jewish communities
and it's for sure infiltrating our own
safada Community what has changed the
most is the mental health of our
children and our families and our
community and everybody is dealing with
it everybody has seeds in their family
that need to be ordered the rates of
anxiety depression in Children and
adolescents in the U.S were far lower
during the Great Depression
World War II the turbulent 60s and 70s
than they are today 42 percent of adults
report that they were unable to get
necessary mental health care because of
money these struggles are incredibly
real the Karen it's it's seamless and
the beauty is that a rabbi or a teacher
is in charge of making sure that
somebody's compliant and needs the care
and is doing what they need to do they
also are targeting a critical ages where
we're going to capture a lot and
hopefully make the biggest impactful
difference and more
funding that
attempt that they can hold on to in life
there is a place for you in our
community there is a place for you and
your Yeshiva there's a place for you and
your girls high school you don't need to
feel isolated you don't need to feel
alone you don't need to feel like you're
some stranger you've got what you're
dealing with in life and you have but
you're aspiring to become in life and
that is just fine the dollar spent on
dealing with this issue now versus once
a person needs to go to rehab you could
have funded who knows how many therapy
takes it just for one month the moment
when I needed the Karen was a moment far
before I ever knew the Karen existed as
a Survivor I want to salute the work of
the Karen we have gone up over a hundred
percent in helping Community children so
it takes one person with one passion
that can make such a difference Karen
Karan is not so much an organization as
much as it is a life more than the
therapy it's the future it provides hope
it provides a future to so many like me
in our community
