attention there then in essence all you've done is simply go to some government building and ask them to give you all the money while you're outside and there's no one in front of you just talking to the building that's what you did you went to some building so give me all your money and the building didn't respond why because you're talking to a building you're talking about who at least you're thinking you're talking talking to this but your mind is about the stock market your mind is about your lawn and how you have to fix it your mind is about your backyard your front yard your car the flat tire your wife your this you're that you're thinking about everything else except to him if someone says that in order for him to alter his methods of conducting this this measure for measure supplication because again if he's of the mindset that he's just going to go through the motions and that's going to change things it's not his only hope is to rectify the ultimate cause which is to improve his spiritual side and the ways of his soul as the sages teach us if a person sees that afflictions have come upon him let him examine his deeds as it says let us search and examine our ways and return to Hashem says the prophet Prophet Jeremiah wrote what he does when he does that then let us lift up our hearts with our hands to Hashem in heaven in so many words waking up praying doing you're thinking that your boss is your savior your customer is your savior the next contract that you're going to get is your savior the house you're gonna buy is your savior the building you're gonna
