Guys, today's a special day.
I'm here with the one and only Avi
Schnall at the Staten Island Hilton
Hotel, the one and only Ephraim Feder,
has come for Yeshiva Summit. Avi, can
you explain us what's happening over
here today?
>> I didn't see this advertised anywhere.
It wasn't advertised anywhere. The oil
comes from all over the tri-state area.
This can I know if you look at the
parking lot, you cannot find a spot over
here. The people that are parking by the
other hotel parking lots, you cannot
find a spot. The police came to help
with some of the traffic. Security.
Security. It's unbelievable. This is our
third fourth year doing this already
that the Agudah puts together Yeshiva
Summit for school administrators,
executive directors to spend the day
together learning from each other. We
have sessions. There's about 15
different sessions going on about And
here's one of our one of our board
members that just joined us over here.
Rabbi Zucker.
But he's on He's busy. He's working.
He's always working.
And they come together. There's
sessions. We have members of the New
York State Department of Education, from
the government, from other places, and
how to make it better, how to make the
Yeshivas better, how to make the
financial parts of the Yeshiva better,
the administrative parts of the Yeshiva
better. And it's an incredible
experience. And that's why you thought
you didn't see it advertised anywhere
cuz people come and they love it. And
when we open up registration, within a
few days,
it's full. It's full. The timing came
the perfect time. We just finished the
keynote session, and now we're in the
middle of lunch. Lunch is in the expo
room where they have a chance of all the
exhibitors, all the schools can see
different programs, different
organizations, different companies
from special education, books,
accounting, payroll, whatever you can
think about that can help a Yeshiva,
they are here at the summit.
I'm Menachem, one of our sponsors of the
event is Charity. As we all know, ain't
mayim kemach, ain't Torah. And we got to
have the kemach to be able to have
Yeshivas existing and at the forefront
of raising funds for Yeshiva of Mechina
the charity. And we're joined by our
whole team from charity. And Menachem
Siegel is a local Lakewood resident that
came in for today. Menachem, talk a
little bit about charity, about the
amount of money they raised, how they're
working for the Yeshivas, how they're
working for the different organizations.
Baruch Hashem, Charity's been around
I've been working with Charity for
almost I think 12 years or 13.
Bottom line,
we raised we raised north of 4 billion
dollars, but closer to 5 billion
>> with a B? Close to 5 billion
>> dollars.
Baruch Hashem, for Mechina actually,
Avi, many many many of the Mechina in
this room
are our clients. Baruch Hashem, we had
the opportunity to really help. We've
seen we've seen that our good is coming
to go from a small little uh conference
to now Baruch Hashem, look what's going
on over here.
It's really really amazing to be here
and be part of the growth of the
Mechina. If If there's anyone wants to
reach out, they can reach out to me. My
cell phone number 732-833-3253.

He doesn't want to go on camera right
now, but he made all sorts of books.
Heimish
kosher books. Good curriculum. Math,
reading,
math books, all different things that
Yiddish children can learn in with the
Torah and the guidance. He makes the
books himself? He makes the books
themselves. They sell to the Yeshivas.
They're approved books for the
curriculum in the state, which is a
which is an important thing. They're
able to use the funding from the state
to buy the books. And you can ensure
that your kids are learning.
The condition of the Torah
He used to have to cut out Cut out all
the books. Now, no more cutting out.
These are all in guns. In guns.
Everything is
kosher and Yosher.
Here's the phone number 718-834-1231.

one of the biggest concerns of Yeshivas
today is security.
Keeping our children safe when they come
to school and one of the vendors that
are here today is also a security
company. Many Yeshivas want to be able
to have security but of course so how do
you have the balance?
So we're here with

the company? So the name of the
organization is Protect-X International.
We're internationally licensed and
compliant security guard agency.
What we focus on is providing total
security guard systems

and age we have top notch security and
that's what we're doing over here at
Protect-X. What's your phone number? Our
phone number is 917-336-7713.
As we just said before
there's two types of kemach. There's the
kemach the gelt [snorts] and then
there's the real kemach. As we know
today the Yeshivas being built all over
the place. One of the most important
parts of having a functioning good
Yeshiva is the kitchen. That's where
Culinary Depot comes in.
Culinary Depot is the name of the game.
We do everything from the design,
equipment, installation. We take care of
the kitchen A to Z. Where else could you
find huge pots like this
or a cost level?
That's right. Freshly baked rugelach. It
looks like a soup bowl it looks like.
That's right. Or it could wear as a hat.

Monty. This is our camp, our motorized
gate. Um security guardrail.

A friend of one of our other vendors is
Tree of Knowledge. They provide services
in the Yeshivas. Um I can tell you what
they do. I'm going to ask for myself and
tell them what tell you what they do.
Yes. We provide title services. Right
now we've been providing in Ohio, we're
providing in Florida. Providing in
New Jersey, all over New Jersey. Now
we're moving into New York. Title
services we provide all the kids that
are be able to have remedial help.
There's a number of other services
besides just that as far as just
learning Korea, learning how to have
interactions, social skills, getting
along so they'll be able to manage and
be able to really flourish in the
classroom with everybody else.
That's called title? I thought title
services Title is title Different
titles? Yeah. Different titles?
Different
Your name? Motke.
Motke Twerski. Motke Twerski, South
Fallsburg? South Fallsburg. Yes. Sure,

From another one of our big funders at
the summit is Yeled V'Yalda. Doesn't
need much of an introduction. I'm going
to let Rabbi Masquits take it from here.
Yeled V'Yalda is an organization for 30
years helping children in Brooklyn, and
we now expanded to Lakewood, and we have
a site in Island.
>> you started in Lakewood. Yeah, we have
Head Start in Lakewood. Oh, Lakewood. We
are the only agency from the federal
government that has two states, New York
and Lakewood. New York and New Jersey.
New York and New Jersey.
Since we expanded,
what happened is that after we opened
the Head Start, we saw that kids need
more uh uh
therapy, so we we do with um
OT, TP, speech,
and Title One, and we are in 101
moistures. We have
Head Start, and we are like in 50
moistures we have between Title and
all other services. Wow, that's quite a
story.
Who's my title? So, what do you leave us
with in our last thought?
He just started um
Um Yeled V'Yalda is a company which
service builds
service builds and service children.
It's the kids for children.
It's a moment of pleasure.
Absolutely, it's been a pleasure working
with Rabbi Offen. The Yeled Yidden a
mensch weißt alles wegen Kinder. And by
Instant Yeled, we look forward every day
to the bus in scameteam for the school,
>> The official spokesperson for the mayor
behind the scenes absolutely

and what works for every individual
teacher and every individual child.
Thank you about them. Thank you.
Bye-bye. Scott from And from another one
of our vendors is Briansons. Briansons.
Hi. We're honored to be part of this
wonderful summit. You know, many schools
have money available to them and they
need guidance on how to spend it. So, we
at Briansons reach out for title one,
two, and three and four. We advise
schools how to spend their money. And
thanks to the Agudah for, you know,
having this forum where all the schools
can get together. You know, it's much
life much easier instead of calling all
the schools value that the Agudah. They
all come together here to see what they
do for
and we're proud to be a vendor and a
sponsor of this event tonight today.
Our phone is 646-261-0812.
We'd be more than happy to serve you
anyway we can and benefit.
And from another amazing vendor we have
over here is Court Street Office
Furniture. You know, every yeshiva have
their furniture, the desks. We do a
school furniture full supplies from
designing to layouts to everything till
till the after installation. We have
another branch called Fable Custom. It's
on the Court Street. We do school
furniture. We do metal doors, everything

We have a great service.
We're looking forward. What's the phone

What's the cell phone number?
347-971-6224.
Appreciate it.
Court Street and we're going to Court
Street downtown Brooklyn.
And we went online
from the recession that time.
I have it was around the something that
I have the freight was the cost of the
thing that I machine but I took the
answer.
The thing it cost the thing it was
$1,000. It was the cost of the machine.
$900. The machine is tired of China.
Such a Chinese machine from the only

But So come I'm going to ask The day
show the day show the day show The thing
of the machine was $200. I think it I
think it was the other
So we got Google.
The thing is the thing is $900 to go
for.
>> [laughter]
>> I took the thing and I took the machine
In the house to see it later on.
I get
I would just leave it in the storage.
I'm going to test it after the business
to grab a pool machine and I have to
Come here student.
I never kept
Why is it the same as the thing that I
believe it's the thing in believe it's
the thing that I believe it's the thing.
I'm going to leave it there.
>> [laughter]
>> I get
The the the the machine the entire
American machine is I get the machine
and the
The machine is simple. I have to go to
this place.
In a minute I'll start it. The American
machine is too complicated.
Yeah, but a 50-page manual. And you know
I don't know about the Chinese or
something.
It's the similar car and it's the
Chinese cable thing was
Another important vendor for your
Yeshivas
is cleaning supplies. You got to make
sure the Yeshiva is clean. Franco's
playing business also. Everything for
your kitchen. Everything that you need
in the kitchen from small wares, paper
goods. Paper towel. Paper towel, toilet
paper, you got it. We got next day
delivery in the tri-state area, New
York, New Jersey. Now coming up the
summer season. And make sure all the
Yeshivas get special discounts and

Phone number. So, the office number
718-789-
4787. You can reach my cell phone on
this
WhatsApp number. You can have an after
hours 347- 715-0565.
You like the after hours? After hours,
24 24/6. We try. It's a hustle. It's a
hustle.
And from here I want to introduce you to
one of our first
vendors by the first summit, Wise
Advisory. So, they've been here with us
since year one. They have obviously keep
coming back. I'm going to let Mr. Wise
talk about what he provides. We do tax
exempt bond financing for Yeshivas and
501c3s that are looking to borrow money
for new buying a new building,
acquisition, buying property, uh or
construction. We can save them about 1
and 1/2% a year on interest. So, this is
for larger projects. For instance, on a
$20 million project, they could save
$300,000 a year in interest alone. Wow.
Uh it's a it's a very good thing. It
does take it does take uh about 6 to 9
months to go through the process, uh but
within the first 12 months they'll
recoup your money. How much money did
you develop for Yeshivas already? How
much money? I've done probably close to
a billion dollars in tax exempt bonds
for Yeshivas. Wow.
>> What's your phone number? 516- 551-
2345.
It's good. Thank you. Thank you.
>> Thank you. From as we said many times,
we mean come back and tell you we got to
the money. We got to the kitchens. Now
we get to the actual food. When I was a
kid, everyone complained about Yeshiva
lunches. It was the joke of the town.
Today, thanks to Grossers and Big Parts,
the level of Yeshiva okay, the level of
the lunches, the quality of the food
that Yeshivas are giving is today
another level.
Baruch Hashem. Us by Grossers, our
slogan is we make it, you bake it. From
bagels and baguettes
>> that. the pizza rolls, garlic knots, and
like you said, we up the level of the
school lunches. Simple, and like I said,
we make it, you bake it, take it out of
the freezer, defrost it, pop it into the
oven. You schmuck essen.
But, the highly good I want to tell you
a compliment. I once spoke to a chef
By the way, that's the spring the cover.
In his catalog, tell me another company
that has that catalog. Mizoynus. Dairy,
case count, baking instructions,
I'm going to do the lunch items.
100%. Call me when you need stuff.
One of our main sponsors of the event is
Roth and Co. Who doesn't know Roth and
Co? One of the largest accounting firms
in the firm community.
Yeah, hi.
Um so, I'm Mr. Launder. I'm an audit
partner at Roth and Co, and we help
nonprofits in all their needs, whether
it's an audit, it's a 990 tax return,
whether it's getting their organization
set up. From soup to nuts, we're here to
help you with everything you need to
make sure that your organization
thrives.
Wow.
Hi.
>> Before I mess we know that Yeshiva's
moistest could have hundreds of
employees, especially the larger
moistest could have hundreds, sometimes
over a thousand employees. Payroll is a
big challenge.
That's Brands Payroll.
Hi, David Lozar, the COO at Brands
Payroll. So, it's been great being at
the event today. Although, always
everyone's looking for new business, but
it's great meeting all of our current
clients, talking to them about how much
they like things. And what I like trying
to do with them is saying, I understand
everything is working great, but how can
we help make your payroll and HR
department run more efficiently? Why
don't you talk to us? Tell us about the
things that you didn't think that maybe
we could help you with, and see how we
can help you, and see how either our
tools maybe could help you today, or
maybe we're going to build out to make
more things to help you. So, that's what
we're looking for. Not just to help all
our clients with lots and lots of
employees, hundreds and thousands of
employees, but also how to make their
life easier because the law keeps
changing, you shouldn't have to be too
busy with that. Again, this is David
Lazar. This is Sam. We're with Brands
Payroll and our telephone number is
718-625-1800.
Thank you so much. Nice to meet
everyone.
One of our biggest sponsors of the
program is also a company called
Catapult. And they and many, many people
know they've been around in the business
for many decades.
Yeah, it's going on 50 years now and one
thing we're always dedicated to is
student services, providing professional
development for staff, being true
partnerships with schools. We're so glad
to be here by this beautiful Yeshiva
Summit again.
We have such a proud partnership with
Agudath Israel Yeshiva Services and it's
something that we're
very honored to be a part of. Our
biggest
biggest goal is is to support education.
If you have any questions, please reach
out to me, David Dinter, 917-653-8559.
Have a great day. Thank you.
And from him I want to introduce you to
the superintendent of the Kiryas Joel
School District.
I'm
always happy to be here. I've been here
for many years. I really enjoy this
conference. You get to meet people in
the field. You get to meet
excellent educators. The speakers are
always the best. People from the State
Department of Education, the City
Department of Education. Very happy to
be here. Want to keep I want to keep
going.
Alby does a great job. So does Agudath.
Thank you. Thank you, Joel, for
everything you do.
And from one of the biggest hardships
for Yeshivas is paying the bills. And as
we've seen the last year or two, energy
bills have skyrocketed. New York, New
Jersey, wherever you are.
One of our vendors is here to help the
Yeshivas with their energy bills.
Shmuel Nachman, Baruch Hashem, at the
third year of the Yeshiva Summit, it was
been very successful. As you can see,
many testimonials over here. We saved
the Yeshivas hundreds of thousands of
dollars between local law compliance and
bringing back money from Edison and
National Grid and the other utilities.
We're actually located in New York City,
but we do a lot of other stuff in New
Jersey and other states also between
checking the bills, making sure that
everything is good, and getting your
buildings under compliance and energy
efficient as possible as
as best as possible.
So, some buildings that they don't know
where their energy is being lost, so
they have we put on these small sensors,
we can exactly see where anything energy
is being lost. So, we can
directly exactly solve the problems.
>> What's your name and phone number? David
Tauber, David Taube.
David, uh 718-388-4084.
Oh, actually, I see Yoli Veltz over
here. We saved him close to $200,000 in
>> [laughter]
>> You can see it's testimonials. Talk with
Yossi.
Give us a call at 1-800-444-4444. It's a
minute
reason oil.
>> [cough]
[clears throat]
>> The program now we're going to go to the
building next door. It's called the
above.
In view is an exclusive track for board
members. There's executive directors,
there's administrators. We also know
that all Yeshivas have a board, and
being part of a board has
responsibilities, liabilities,
legalities. Who helps the board members
understand what they need to do, and
board members themselves, what you doing
in your Yeshiva, what you doing in other
Yeshiva, how to learn from each other.
So, this year, first time ever, one of
its kind, a track for board members of
Yeshivas. Wow. Come check it out. Very
high security. Hello, how are you?
Hello, how are you?
>> Thank you.
What I'm seeing right now is the panel
of board members. Every member on the
panel is a member of a board of a large
school five towns from Muncie, from New
Jersey and they sit together. Questions
and answers. Other board members can see
they all learn from each other.
It couldn't have gotten done without the
help of this board member who had his
head on straight and he did it all the
time. He dealt with this before. Crisis
management, he was there and engaged.
So, I feel that's another entry of of
allowing board members to be able to
feel engaged in the day to day of the
school. And then by by by virtue of
that, feeling the pride of what goes on
in the school.
I want to talk to you like is an English
principal in Bell's Butter Park. All hot
rather our business if I could do all of
them in the books.
Spelling books, math books, curriculum
and all hot rather software. What is
this software like? Yes, yes. We do we
sell we help Yeshivas
We help them find curriculum that's
appropriate that's standards aligned. We
have different tracks that accommodate
all different schools.
We have a very knowledgeable team. We
actually have a free newsletter that you
could sign up for online. Send us an
email. But we have a system that you
could track with just scanning in sheets
into into our system and it gives you
data on the students, beautiful
dashboards, beautiful reports for
student scheduling. It's
>> to be a special um No, this this this
actually very very unique. You can have
here a label that you can put on any
sheet. This is like you can have the end
of the week
the the teacher gives a test. They put
this on the sheet. They write in the
score it's for the test and when you can
scan the sheet in it reads the mark. It
puts it in the student's folder. You're
able to track progress. It's an amazing
software we have already over 150,000
students that we're tracking in the
software. We are in a many many
moistures, many organizations.
It's an amazing program.
>> give it out like the Yeshiva test.
Data privacy, data privacy. [laughter]
We
We have, yeah. We're We're We're
Everything is perfect compliant. Um,
it's an amazing, uh, program. You can
reach out to find out more. Phone
number? 718-285-7100
Extension 101, you'll reach me.
Thank you.
Their phone is a prison phone for the
book room in the Yeshiva that break the
phone every day. This phone they cannot
break. It's called Why is it called a
prison phone?
>> Cuz it's made for the inmates in prison.
It's stainless steel and they cannot do
anything with it.
No, no, no, no. They want them not break
the phone so they get them cheaper
phones.
No, no.
Wow. Imagine
Some of them, yeah.
When When
>> [clears throat]
>> When they keep on changing every week
the phones, they finally take this
phone.
This is This is a dashboard for the book
room in the Yeshiva. We give them phones
and we give them mailboxes so with
during Yeshiva in the middle of learning
and the mother wants to reach them, they
can leave them a message and we put a
big dashboard in the hallway and they
can see that they have a message and
walk over to any of these phones and
listen to the message.
>> Wow.
The message that she's asking.
>> [laughter]
>> This is a call button that in the in the
classroom if there's an emergency and
the the the the rabbi got goes crazy, he
just pushes a button and it's going to
call the menahel and we can talk right
away.
And he can even call even call his cell
phone while he's driving and he can get
But it has to be it's set to one number.
>> It's No, no, it can go to a group of
numbers.
Uh, we also we have TAG. We're approved
by TAG, so we have a special integration
with TAG. TAG has a database of all the
hotlines that's between the show center
that are not that are not clean.
They keep a database and we integrate
with them. So, if you dial a number
that's forbidden, they're automatically
it's going to not going to let the call
go through.
If it's a kosher hotline, it's a kosher
hotline. You could if it's approved, you
could, but if not, then it's
automatically
The bottom line is we give you what you
need. Not We're not selling you what we
have. We we give you what you need, and
that's what we sell you and we create
everything custom to your needs. I love
that.
English. English.
>> English. We develop interactive content
and we do coordination of the whole and
skills.
So, it's very creative. The power of an
interaction is mom's robotic. Makes it
exciting for the kids.
>> Kinder cannon.
And the kids can navigate, go back.
Test the kids and ask
Yeah, so the way it works is that we
have, let's say, a moist reaching out to
us. They want a specific style of an
interactive assessment tool.
Other Yeah, especially at school.
They want to do interactive activities
on it. So, we create that.
Official assessment batteries. We can
make them interactive in Yiddish. It's a
time the kinder. And basically, the the
school alliance can
Nine. It's a USB. It's actually a
tablet. They get a tablet. They can have
their own tablet. They lock it down. It
has our app. It's
I don't know so others in the remedial
department others is for assessment
others is taking a special at setting
I'll be second leading of the one thing
in the kindergarten dragon and in thing
this activities besides this is a high
school is named we will look the
other
what's the last thing she had bringing
in the most of
a screen of it Mr. Kinder schlepping
this
year as a touch the Kinder schlepping
this so actually the iPad is locked down
and it only opens up those hours this is
and I I shall be saying you know the
bits for market in the kingdom
good anyways thank you so much

100%.

The only ones who say no are board

this has to benefit the parents because
unlike a subsidy
from the government, in this case, if
you want those parents to donate, if you
want those parents to feel like they're
there there's a reason for them to give
to you and not the base yaakov down the

were stolen narratives for funding

little bit of what this expo is all
about. How many hundreds of schools, all
types, Yeshiva Meisters, Spanish
Meisters, Modern Meisters, everyone
comes together
under the banner of Agudath Israel of
America, and they learn how to make our
Yeshivas better. We have this program
every single year. Every year it gets
bigger and bigger and better. And I'm
not sure if next year we shall have
Kodesh, we're going to have to take out
an even bigger place. But thank you for
coming.
