Eric Adams Visits 770 Night Before Elections

the thought that this is where it all started this is where i was elected as a state senator this is where i became abroad president and now on the eve of election day i'm here again to this community with a long time friend that has been with me on this journey throughout this entire race of my political career to now run to be the mayor of the city of new york and it's going to be a city where we respect religious freedom respect quality of life we respect public safety we're going to fight and ensure that we end anti-anti-semitism and the violence that we're seeing around this entire city so i am really proud to be here as we start this journey as we finish the journey we started so many years ago and you know just to continue to move forward this is an amazing community the grand rebbe talks about how we are won together and when i went to visit this gravesite last week with nina uh it was a real emotional moment for me of what the grand rebbe means to all of us we've all learned from him and we'll continue to learn from him so what is your message to the community for tomorrow tomorrow this is a this is a pivotal moment for this community tomorrow because new friends come to this community new people come to this community i'm not a new person i'm not a new friend i'm an old friend we stood at the same location when we saw violence i stood at the library with devorah haberstein when her son was murdered on the brooklyn bridge i stood in this community so many times when we had important moments so i say to the community now it's time to come out and vote and vote for an old friend and not a new friend eric adams should be ranked number one in this community i just want to say you know lately there's some videos going around on different mayor campaigns uh releasing private people releasing i want to say one thing about every guy i know him for many many years one thing i can tell you blindfolded he's not an anti-summit and and you're a club but that is the truth about i think about six years ago maybe a little more he was a a boy who was learning late at night over here maybe 11 12 o'clock and a uh african-american walk with them and stabbed it here in this synagogue i went down over there and and it was eric adams as the borough president who came out here to the block away in in in an institution over there who actually he made a news conference he led that news conference to announce that the many times a boy got a a man after that a father of several children got punched one saturday afternoon uh down over the avenue i think it was midway door or restaurant somewhere around that area there's uh uh it did uh the hospital it was eric and his leadership that came down there made that news conference who led that news conference to the the now when that when a african-american came he tried to kill and punch and assault a jewish father that was erica's is he was here like he said he's not a old friend but he's a new painter he's not a new member he's the old friend he was there he was there when he ran for the same silence and we supported him he if he said when he ran from our president we support him and we stand there and we support him for mayor and everybody going to see what kind of made he's going to be to be amazed that we should all be brothers of all the people thank you
