Episode 3 BEYOND THE 7 with Rabbi Aaron Dovid Poston

[Music] hey good day everyone welcome back to our third installment in this new exciting series beyond the seven live from Jerusalem with Rabbi Aaron David Poston who I'm learning so much from I am so thankful that he takes the time out of his busy schedule stays up very late it's late in Jerusalem right now but he's still willing to share Torah with us and I just am overjoyed so I'm not gonna hold him up any more I'm gonna turn it right over to Rabbi Poston rabbi how you doing tonight I'm enjoying this class I'm getting great feedback everybody's enjoying it we hope you're well and safe and Israel and everybody's doing well how are you tonight I'm well thank you Dan I see I see you have a big smile on your face as always I'm so glad to be here part of what you're doing part of the no hide world Center and everything that they're trying to accomplish in the world and I'm also just I think I'm not just humbled I I really feel privileged that you reached out to me and they were able to come together and share during this time well its first we should go and talk to all those people here in Israel good morning to the people far as Far East right whether then Australia China I don't know all the different names of the countries over there yeah and for those people in America I hope that at least the Jews anyway will be watching after Shabbat and for Noack I think this is a perfect opportunity to to reach out and to learn Torah during this holy day yeah and it is after Shabbat there and it's getting late and you know the sheer fact that that you're just willing to you know bend your schedule take away from sleep even to share and shine the light of Torah we are just grateful thankful and I must say the last two lessons have just kind of had some people's jaws open and so we're hoping you got some more Beauty to share with it because these are things that we of the 70 nations generally have not heard our parents haven't heard this we haven't heard it from you know religions we've come out of its unique it's it's the Hebrew roots that that has been taught all the way back to Moshe and I can't share it because we don't know it I mean I could get them in study books and and but a lot of it doesn't make sense unless we're told by a rabbi who's heard it all the way back in the chain so rabbi the floor is yours sir appreciate thank you so I do want to do a little bit of review least certain concepts and address certain questions that came up even during last week's class that I forgot to address and that have come up since one was a question somebody asked if they had a Gomorrah can they sit and learn the Gemara so Who am I to tell them no however my suggestion is that listen to other classes right listen or you know you pick up a book that is no but we're going to be learning for example the path of the just okay here's just one copy here's another copy and I've no idea if it's forward or backwards but when you're learning a safer you're learning and it quotes a Gomorrah so my suggestion is then use the Gomorrah that you have as a reference go deep see the language learn the language even the commentaries on that piece of Gomorrah I would not suggest take the Gomorrah and learn it from cover to cover it's more of a reference book because not all that is applicable and so part of the review to show you that that my answer I think is not just palpable palatable but to the correct answer we saw a list this isn't Gomorrah 92 a of a Hulan that had mentioned that the bene North had accepted upon themselves 30 mixes and the question is what does that mean they accepted upon themselves 30 mixes so I just want to go back to the idea we have seven misses that they're obligated and the question is are they just misses or are they other table has a different perspective and the person to my left of tomorrow night has also a different perspective so the five of us discussing this we have a chance when I hear what he has to say and and to like enter his mind so to speak I will get an additional perspective then I have my own so there's a possibility as a chance that the five of us together will actually be able to see something beyond ourselves because we're sharing with the other person and we're accepting what the other person is saying now the person could be making a mistake his vision may be blurred and we have the right to challenge them and that's what I mentioned about the Caruso system and when you're dealing with someone else in your it's like iron against iron is going to become sharpen right so this is this is the way we have to number one realize we cannot ourselves see absolute truth we have to go into the Torah we have to go into and a higher and this is one of the things I want to lead better shape than we are okay so let's just say I used the term he's on a lower level I don't mean it is when I he's a lowlife god forbid I think that that guy it should be that person should be my students are asking me a lot about the different conspiracy theories and perhaps you know certain rabbis are talking about 5g and vaccines and all kinds of things that are happening now with the makes it wrong is when it's it's like this is the way we're going to do it and wait a second what do you base it on nobody gave you direction to go down that path there's nowhere no precedents in Torah there's no precedents you know what makes a false religion of false religion is they're going down their own path in their own ideas and that's where vanity lies is when it's imaginative and built upon imagination without any actual foundation now I think the Hebrews are teaching clearly what makes a new religion is that strange ordinance that that you've made into a rule and calling it a mitzvah when it has no real what but I think where you're you're clarifying to us as Benet noah is that these are established honest legitimate torah mitzvahs and doing it when the opportunity arises right because you see it before you you understand what it's about and you see the need and you meet the need I love how you brought out earlier about remedy about the cure like an injection that that meets the need and if you're walking down the street and you see something and you know a mitzvah will solve an issue and a problem why wouldn't you step forward and do it whether you're you're you're
