Ep. 03: ONE WHO HAS BITACHON AND IS NOT FEARFUL CANNOT BE HARMED

[Music] welcome to episode three of our betal Lei series we're now in unit three of the betal Lei we continues what we said previously that the fear itself creates a problem and he quotes a pasuk in where God tells y don't be afraid the enemies are around you because the fear is going to cause you to become broken similarly he brings a story in where one groaned and the other one said you're groaning you want to bring problems upon yourself like the says I fear to fear the yet It Came Upon me and therefore the says that before soldiers went to war there's a negative Commandment that says do not be afraid of them it's unbelievable that's a sin Thou shalt not fear the enemy and why is that says the bet because our success at War comes from our alliance on hasem as we know some go with with with chariots and with with horses we win our Wars B by mentioning the name of God the way we win our Wars is with Reliance on Hashem and the way we lose our Wars is with fear and therefore God warns us and that's why when a soldiers afraid we send them back cuz he's now in danger go to war if it's dangerous for you if you're not going to make it so a person goes to war and the success depends on we're not soldiers so does this Mitzvah not apply to us interestingly enough R lists this l in his list of 613 and does not apply it only to war he says anytime a person is in a challenge situ challenging situation he has to believe that hashem's salvation is closer than the problem and if it's bad news from a doctor from a lawyer from a sh or whatever it is our immediate reaction has to be yes I'm not afraid of the situation could pull me out so this is a tremendous concept that we have opportunities daily because there isn't a day that goes by without some kind of challenge it could be a lady trying to make a cake and she's missing some ingredients it could be looking for parking it could be doing homework with your children there's a lot of things that are challenging and rather than just say how am I going to get through this we have the answer you turn your eyes up to Hashem and say Hashem I'm relying on you I'm counting on you I know you're the only one that can take me out of this problem and save me that's the power of be and again we have to put this in our heads this is not an option it's not a nice thing to do if I'm in the mood it's a mitvah it's no different than any one of the 613 and it's a negative commandment people AR going to look at that I'm afraid it's I just shaved with a razor I just ate unkosher uh meat it's a Thou shalt not fear we will continue working on this and reach that level of not having any fear have a wonderful [Music] day
