sh we're continuing our stump the rabbi
series Wednesday nights where um after a
little bit of you guys will ask some
questions will give us some answers um
reminder for everybody that uh K
store.org has a couple of new items for
uh anybody that uh has gotten some other
items but didn't get uh the new ones
highly recommend for you to order we B
already had a bunch of boxes go out uh
today and really want encourage
everybody to to order them uh if you
local in uh in the
states uh so we can get them uh into
people's hands so the couple new items
are the
USBs um that have the
tunait uh teachings on them there's over
a 100 lectures here also some movies
hasm took back his millions and a bunch
of other movies in
here uh we have the uh the movie cards
with the QR cards that are in that
package and also we have the uh holy
nation book that is well known having
hundreds of sources about the issues of
wasting seed and how to do Chua for it
and so
on um this is the time this is the time
of shim throughout the entire time when
we read the uh Book of Exodus
seph is called shim as a acronym for
each of the parot spells out the word
shim which means like Rebels this is the
time
where uh made into an auspicious time
for people to do CH for uh the issues of
wasting seed and
immorality uh as the Ben as well as um
many other that discuss this particular
issue uh this uh issues of the bit are
uh you know uh multiple parts of chuba
one is obviously stopping the sin
whether it's uh uh by you know person by
themselves or with other people
the second thing is to make sure that uh
you put a fence and they go back to
certain places that have uh different
types of things that entice you to make
that sin uh the third thing is to uh you
know to actually repent by feeling Sor
and apologizing to Hashem for all of
those things that uh were done in the
past uh and uh also one of the things
that whether it's theim ofad like the
balat or it's the AR or it's
rimai uh they all recommended for people
to do tiim uh in the old days they would
do these tonim with fasting uh but since
the generations have gotten weaker and
weaker and people can't fast uh you know
and still stay normal so the recommended
uh way is for people to fast with money
to replace their fast with money uh for
anyone that wants a detailed explanation
of that go to
tunait do
live uh tun t as in uh tun i k k u n h a
b
rit. live and over there we have a write
up explaining the tikun of tunit of
immorality and and
also
and all said that the T for women uh is
the same for as it is for men meaning
women that were immoral whether by by
themselves or with people uh also have
to do a tun and the tun for them would
actually be uh the same as it is for men
uh fasting and uh replaced with money
and so on so this particular uh uh you
know
tun uh or sh package that we have in the
kiru store is extraordinary way for a
person to Fast Track their Chua because
not only is a person able ble now to
stop the sin and also to uh to do Chua
for it and repent for it but also to be
a where you could help other people do
chuva for this particular issue uh and
thereby each time a person does chuva
due to your giving them this uh USB or
giving them the uh the book or you
sponsoring these things on the on the
website then uh this is in essence a
person that is going to have a uh
ongoing never ending Merit account uh
with your name on it because each time
they would have Sinn is in essence a
repentance for something that you have
already done so this is a way to Fast
Track doing kiru is a way to Fast Track
doing chuva uh and uh we're trying to
make it as easy as possible for people
uh to do that as I said the supplies are
limited uh
and it's a uh we still have uh you know
few hundred left to go uh aside from we
also have we just arrived the new book
by uh our own dear R uh it's in Hebrew
only
has it's about each par different
stories M lots of interesting things for
anybody that lives among uh Hebrew
speakers uh in the United States get if
you haven't gotten yourself already a
package with the books in them uh you
could order it now uh there are many
people that have already ordered at
least 30% of the books uh that we got
are already spoken for people have
already pre-ordered but we still have a
bunch left that uh you could order and
bring to your community in the United
States uh with that being said we're uh
the the sh is going to be for a
for IM morati Doris bat analia Leo
but
Francis shva Mayan but
Sarah baa but
Sarah Ezra Ben
baa Orit bat
Elana and also for
a of mar Julie Isa B Mara Samuel Ben
Mara Seas Ben Mara Alexander B
L Ben
Mar David benri Amir Ben shahin and all
of am Isel uh and all of the righteous
noahides that are doing everything
possible to do the will of hem day in
day
out so uh we have a
extraordinary I think it's perfectly fit
for the new era as we spoke about in
last night's lecture uh the new era that
we began the the parasa is also a new
you know starting a new era for am
Isel uh where uh am Isel is now uh
starting to realize that they're no
longer slaves but this is not something
that uh came easy because uh as we see
from the beginning of the Paras that uh
something extraordinary happened where
even
though told everybody that
is there to free everyone uh he uh you
know unfortunately not everybody
listened uh similar to how it's going to
be before mashia comes even though
everybody will have easy access to Torah
more than any other time in history uh
there's more Torah available in the
world today uh with with ease than any
other time in history whether you want
free online shim like the one that
you're watching or uh you know easy
access to books much of it is also uh on
the internet for free or you want to buy
books today you don't have to travel for
6 months to go find uh some rich person
that's also a scholar and to allow you
to learn his books uh while sleeping in
his house for several months today you
could simply go on the internet and buy
yourself some of the best books uh that
ever uh uh existed or the best books
that ever existed uh you know with with
just a few dollars you can get yourself
a attractive
for $30 you could uh you can get
yourself the k for $30 $40 you can get
uh uh musar books again $30 $40 these
are affordable sums for pretty much
everybody uh and even if somebody can't
afford uh to buy these books much of it
is also available uh online for free
whether it's hebrewbooks.org or it's a
the
Mira uh or safaria and as I've warned
you guys in the past within regards to
uh some of the places that are out there
uh they do uh use commentary uh by the
sages but also sometimes they're uh
perhaps somebody liberal behind the
scenes in some organizations where they
also use commentary that's not Kosher
but generally speaking the translations
are Kosher uh whether it be to English
and other languages and a person has an
EAS a very easy access to tah and no
one's going to have a complaint to
Hashem as far as making a toah hard uh
to uh to read or hard to understand
because everything is on a silver
platter available to this generation uh
and really in essence this was the case
at the time of MIT where you had a
generation that had a uh a prophet like
mosenu the prophet of all prophets that
spoke to Hashem face to face uh just
like a person speaks to his friend not
that he saw something but rather that he
was able to speak to hasm at all
times uh just like people today send
each other text messages or call each
other or just show up at each other's
houses without any problem that's in
essence what had
with but despite all of that the uh the
tells
us that only a fifth only one out of
every five b is actually left Egypt and
some say it's not really one out of five
but rather one out of 500 or even one
out of 500,000 meaning only two only two
of
of survived out of every million uh in
the uh in the worst case scenario but
even in the best case scenario uh you
know only 20 out of every hundred Jews
actually survived and left Egypt the
rest of them were killed by aosh himself
in the uh plague of Darkness because the
simply did not want to leave Egypt just
like Unfortunately today we are in the
end of times we are in the era of
mashiach and you see clearly now more
than ever that there are certain people
that unless there's going to be some
open Miracles uh specifically made for
them that they accept as miracles from
Heaven uh they are not going to be uh
the ones that are going to be saved by
the Messiah when he comes uh simply
simply because they don't want to accept
uh the Torah for what it is they simply
want to have a new Torah they want to
have a new interpretation they don't
want to accept our sages they want to
make themselves into a sage they don't
want to accept the Ala that we got from
Mount and also from uh the the sages and
the uh
the or the rambam uh they want to
interpret things according to their own
understanding and uh sometimes even if
they do understand standed they simply
don't think that they have to accept
everything justifying and rationalizing
everything similar to how par himself
did in this week's Paras where uh it
says here that uh
after uh let is leave he decides to to
go after them he decides to go after
them but the question is what really
changed what really you know changed so
the uh teach us that actually sent some
uh
some some
Egyptian AR to go along with uh with
mosenu to go along with am is and to see
to it that they actually come back after
a few days but uh after these Egyptians
told the people okay it's time to go
back to Egypt am is said no we're not
going back we like it here we left maybe
our cousins didn't maybe our friends
didn't maybe some other people that we
know didn't but we already left we're
out of there we're not going back so
those Egyptians that pretended to be
friends got back on their horses and
started writing back to Egypt and that's
when am Isel started getting scared as
it says in the PUK in uh Chapter 14
verse number 10
onai that is was very frightened and the
children of is cried out to hem they
start screaming to Hashem why he
screaming to Hashem because these
Egyptians are going back to tell par on
us yeah but what about Hashem hem is
with you what do you care about par here
we see that am still did not have the
fulla that hem runs the world they
believe that Hashem created the world
they believe that hasem was powerful but
perhaps maybe not all powerful perhaps
maybe he's not going to save them always
having some level of doubts and Aon a
lackings in
theira and uh but their their uh cries
were not answered their cries were not
answered because when they got to the uh
yamu the uh Angel the angel of the ocean
said to I don't think it's fair for me
to split myself self for these Idol
worshippers what Idol
worshippers is some of these people
among them perhaps they have Torah but
some of them have Idols with them they
brought their statues with them they
brought their stock portfolio with them
they brought their sports with them they
brought their all their immorality with
them they they they're still Egyptians
these people why should I split the
ocean for them and then uh you know
collapse myself on top of the Egyptians
that are also Idol
worshippers these are Idol worshippers
and these are Idol worshippers why
should I do it so what happens over
here mosu tries to come down is he tries
to come down letting them know that
didn't bring you all the way here just
for the sake of killing you if he wanted
to kill you would have killed you with
the Egyptians or even with your brothers
and sisters that didn't make it the 80%
that didn't make it
is gonna fight your Wars and you shall
remain silent meaning that when the
Egyptians do show up yes these Egyptians
went back they're going to go tell pero
they're going to try to cause trouble
per is Gonna Come Hashem told me per is
going to come he's coming so yes you
have a serious problem coming but don't
worry who's goingon to fight that
fight who's gonna fight that fight you
don't have to worry about sharpening
your your weapons you don't have to
worry about anything else what you do
have to to worry about is your lackings
in amuna that's what you have to worry
about you are not at a full state
of when you're praying to at the same
time some of you are also praying to an
idol when you're praying to you're
praying to instead of bringing you
salvation you're praying to to give you
a uh a stock pfolio that's much bigger
than what you have when we pray to
Hashem for a Salvation you're asking
Hashem to give you something that you're
not allowed to have when you're praying
to Hashem instead of praying to hashm to
give you good health you uh you you want
Hashem to uh you know to give you health
so you can make sins so in reality
you're mhash what's called mhash like a
defect in your mentality a defect in
your mentality you guys have to work on
yourself he tells them you don't have to
worry about these Egyptians the
Egyptians yes they're coming that's part
of all part of's plan the problems the
Heretics the missionaries all of that
stuff that's all part of the plan
what you have to worry about is not them
you have to worry about you why are you
not believing in a
why and that's the reality now of course
some people did believe the levy tribe
did believe so what was the what was the
uh qu with them yes you believe how come
your brother doesn't how come you're not
helping your brother and we see here
that one of the B one of the main things
that we saw that uh that that changed
from the time of Egypt to the time of
Matan is that in Egypt this Levy tribe
this Levy tribe they saw that am is were
were sinning they saw that am is were
worshiping Idols they saw that am Isel
were not doing exactly very good and
they didn't do much but didn't punish
them extra and make them into slaves or
kill them or anything else but then
later on when we actually fast forward
and we get to Mount saai and am
you know has the the golden calf what
happens then everybody gets punished
everybody gets punished except the levy
tribe why the levy tribe because they
did rebuke they did rebuke and they
ended up killing 3,000 Sinners during
that day meaning that although the Torah
has always been there since the time of
Abu he had the the
Torah had the Torah yob had the T but it
wasn't enforced into law until it got to
mount sa including the law of
rebuking so again even though the law is
not 100%
enforceable still it's the fact that
you're not following it is creating a
problem so
then answers mosu answers M's prayer in
a unusual way he says to him why are you
yelling why are you yelling crying out
to
me go speak to the children of Israel
and tell them to move forward what does
it mean move forward you are the one
that told them to havea you are the one
that told them to that don't worry is
going to be the one that fights your
Wars and you shall remain silent and now
you come to me and pray no you yourself
have to go tell them how to havea how to
show youra what they're I believe a lot
of people say I believe some people say
I believe some people say I I have amuna
some people say this some people say
that but the reality is that there's
when push comes to shove we have to show
that we believe in him we have to take
action with our not just have a little
bracelet and say I have auna not just a
uh write little memes on the internet
and said I have auna and all types of
mumbo jumbo no we have to act like we
have a Muna go do something that shows
you have a Muna what is that something
something that you wouldn't do had you
not had auna go and build something that
everybody says is impossible to build go
and uh give something that no one thinks
that you would ever give go do something
in the name
of where only someone that has AA would
do such a thing and he tells mosenu
don't pray to me the time for pray is
not now the time right now is for you to
go tell is how to practice their rauna
and the way to practice Duna right now
is to move forward and the first student
the first talid that actually took the
words of mosu to Heart
wasad later becomes the head of the
tribe of Y he hears mosu say listen guys
remember I told you not to worry
hashem's going to fight our Wars have a
okay now I have instructions of how to
have auna move forward what do you mean
move forward into the ocean without
asking any questions without thinking
wait are you sure we don't know how to
swim can you show me a proof do you have
a video maybe
instructions had simple the Rabbi says I
go do and he went right forth into the
ocean putting his life at risk to the
point where the water got to his nose he
already started the process of drowning
but he didn't care
why didn't bring us here to kill us and
he gave us a leader that leader told us
move forward that's how we practice our
I'm doing it yeah but you didn't ask any
questions you're not really sure if this
is right this is no no no if it was
wrong he would tell me if it was wrong
he would tell me and guess
what decided to
bring there are many tribes there are
many people and there also if you say
yeah but already decided to bring the
Messiah from the tribe of yudah from
yudah himself you're right but there
were many udas there were many people
there wasn't only there were many y
there were many people in the tribe of
Yuda Buton was the one that was chosen
to be the one where mashia is going to
come from him why simplea I don't need
any proofs I know exists that's enough I
know the D is what I'm supposed to do
that's enough I know Hashem is expecting
more from me than I even think I'm able
to do it that's enough and he moved
forward and he moved forward this
is one of the things that each and every
one of us is getting tested with on a
daily basis some more some less but
nonetheless each one of us is being
tested with our Amun on a regular basis
and it's time for us to really take
action with thisa and realize that
believing is not it's not something it's
valuable unless there's action that's
connected to it now of
course still even though they followed
the they followed and the Sea split
their amuna was still not at the highest
level why it lacked something it
lacked it lacked fear of Heaven even
though they had knowledge
acknowledgement that who is the god is
The One and Only God even though some of
them believed in in Idols too still
there was are lackings so after split
the
ocean and drowned the
Egyptians and not only that not only
drowned the Egyptians but made sure that
am
sees clearly that this is not only not a
happen stance but rather this is a
unique one-time Miracle specifically
made for them and no one else so not
only did the ocean split not only only
did the uh ground flatten so it's easy
for them to walk not only did the water
turn into fresh water anytime somebody
wanted to drink the water would would
come out and he'd be able to drink it
sea water the the uh uh ocean water that
is salt water turned into fresh water
fruits came out of the ground literally
hundreds of Miracles hundreds of
Miracles happened inside yam but this in
itself the Miracles themselves did not
bring to a full state of Amun even
though while they was splitting the
ocean gave each one of them prophecy
prophecy that is higher than even the
prophet each person had prophecy the
babies the babies that were still inside
their mommy's belly saw this is God and
I will I will sanctify him the little
babies inside the belly saw things that
are unimaginable but yet this was
lacking was lacking because there was a
suff a doubt there was a little amalik
inside each person that gave them a
doubt why maybe perhaps this that all
types of mumble jumble things just like
par Justified to come and ignore the
fact that he just got 10 plagues just
like ignored the fact that is has a
mightier God just like Justified going
after them in his irrational
mind themselves also Justified not
having full
until not only collapsed all of the
water on top of the Egyptians killed all
of them but one
except but also made all of the bodies
wash up into the
uh into the uh uh uh Beach so sees all
of the bodies but even then showed Mercy
For The Wicked dead and had the ground
swallow them says the midash so he spit
them all up into the beach to make sure
that all of says no no don't worry about
them coming back just like mosu says
just likeu said in the in the
that the people were scared because they
saw that these Egyptians went back to
went back to uh to
par so mosu said to the people do not
fear do not fear Stand Fast and see the
salvation of hem that he will perform
for you today for as you have seen Egypt
today who Egypt that that came along
with them just like he saw Egypt today
because this was already 3 days or so
after they left Egypt so how could they
see Egypt today if uh if uh they already
left Egypt meaning the Egyptians that
were with them just like you've seen
Egypt today you shall not see them ever
again you're never going to see them
again next these people that came here
that were spies don't worry about them
next time you going to see them they're
going to be dead bodies you're never
going to see them alive again so
here drowns all kills all of the
Egyptians
except and now has their bodies shown on
the beach to make sure that all of am
sees these bodies and then has Mercy on
the on the bodies but also a reward for
the sea that did its job and gives them
the uh gives him the food in essence
gives him the bodies to eat for all the
creatures that he Po and then that's
when it
says it
says on that day that saved Israel from
the hand of Egypt and isra saw the
Egyptians dead on the seashore Isel saw
the great hand that hasem inflicted upon
Egypt
and the people feared hem and they had
inem and in Moshe his servant so we see
here as I said years ago a not only a
statement of fact of what actually
transpired but also a map a map for each
and every one of us of how to attain
real amuna where it says over here that
in order for to arrive at the amuna that
they really wanted to have the that they
really needed to have in order to get to
that next level
first that is saw the great hand that
hem inflicted upon Egypt they noticed
that Hashem is the one that's running
the world not anybody else they paid
attention to the Miracles they paid
attention to what people call nature
they paid attention to the details and
they realized that these are not things
that could happen by themselves like the
atheists and the Heretics think that
could happen these are not things that
could explain themselves even a simple
watch cannot build itself needless to
say a world cannot build itself so they
saw the hand of
hem in what was happening rather than
constantly justifying it rationalizing
it with all types of scientific
explanations like they do on a Discovery
Channel am realized no no no this is not
a wind this is not a a weather event
this is not a uh no this is AEM this is
AEM and that's
it so first they saw the great hand of
Hashem after that after they saw the
great hand of hem they realized they
realized they realized wait if hem is
the one that's doing all of this that
means that he has control over the
entire world world if he has control of
the entire world needless to say he has
control of me he has control not only of
me and not only of the cells that are
inside me but also all of the things
that happen to me whether I have money
or I don't have money whether I live or
I die whether I have food or I don't
have food whether the food that I eat
will satiate me or I'll stay hungry
whether I'll be able to uh get married
or stay single have kids or not
everything is in the hands of hem it's
not that Hashem just created the world
and he left like the Greeks think it's
not that Hashem runs the world but
doesn't care about the small things like
the Heretics think no Hashem knows about
everything and cares about everything
and as soon as a per each one of them
realize the details the the the the
micro details that aadh is concerned
with
each one of them each one of them feared
AEM each one of them that understood
from everything that was happening that
it was all coming from the hand of hasem
immediately after realizing that
everything is in the control of hem that
in itself brought them to fearing Hashem
why fear of hem not why not loving
Hashem because the natural human
instinct the natural human instinct that
created with us with is that as soon as
you realize that someone is in control
of your destiny immediately you are
afraid why because what if they choose
to end your your future what if they
choose to do something that you don't
want the point is is that the natural
inclination of a person to to to is to
feel fear as soon as they realize that
they themselves are no longer in control
and unfortunately the natural
inclination of the evil inclination of
each person is to want to relieve
themselves from that control to make
themselves believe literally to convince
themselves that they are in
control to convince themselves that
Destiny is in their hands and the
reality is it's
not everything is from Heaven except the
fear of Heaven that's what thear says
everything is from Heaven whether you
live or die rich or poor married single
kids no kids sick healthy everything is
from Heaven everything except the fear
of Heaven except whether you will follow
hasem or not
meaning you will not succeed or fail
just because you choose to go against
theem Hashem will give you success or
failure one way or the other based on
his own calculations but
nonetheless the the uh uh the uh
conditions or the price of that success
or failure will be different meaning
that if a person follows the way of hem
follows the way of hem fulfills the
Torah will give that person success in
order to help that person follow hasem
even better meaning that person gives
Daka for good places to do kir to help
people do CH to learn t for for bhiva
for all types of wonderful things andh
will give that person even more money
why he sees you want to do good he's
going to help you do good on the other
hand you also see people that are wicked
that donate to invite missionaries that
donate to uh promote heresy that donate
to do bad things and sometimes hasem
also gives them success why because he
wants them to bury themselves he'll give
them success in order because he sees
they want to make sins they want to
promote things that are against them and
it'll even help them make themselves are
even bigger hole in
Gom on the other hand sometimes AEM will
give a person failure he'll give a
righteous person failure why to test him
to build him to uh because he knows that
this person will will stop being
righteous if he he had success for all
types of reasons that Hashem has that
are above and beyond our pay grade on
the other hand sometimes they'll give a
wicked person failure in order to entice
them to do chuva in order to get them to
realize that it perhaps if they change
things will change so the point is that
hasem has an endless amount of of of of
weapons that he can use in order to
manage his creation and as soon as a
person follows their good inclination
they realize that everything is in the
hands of hasem and that in itself
creates a fear when a person does not
fear hasem that's because that person is
convinced that they are in charge of
their own destiny Desy they are in
charge of their own future they are in
charge of whether they make money
whether they get clients whether they do
all types of things and the reality is
quite the opposite and you'll see many
times different teachers some of them
call themselves rabbis some of them are
just uh you know faulty uh uh Idol
worshippers but many times people in
society today promote this type of
teaching where they tell people that you
are in control you can do it believe in
yourself and all types of things that in
reality are not exactly in line with the
Torah itself to say the least what is in
our hands is whether we follow hem the
results of that Hashem decides the
results being money uh susten uh uh
marriage children everything everything
that a person uh has in their life
everything that a person has in their
life so as soon as
saw that everything is in the control of
hem immediately they had the natural
human inclination that each one of us
had at some point when we realize that
we really are not in control which is
fear of the almighty and therefore a
person that does not have fear of the
almighty is a person that's not paying
attention just like we learned from the
plagues as we learned
from where he said that there every word
has an opposite you have a tall short
black white white light dark and so on
and so forth but there is no opposite
for fear of Heaven in the Torah it says
during the plagues those that feared the
word of Hashem went into the houses to
to uh to uh escape from the uh uh uh the
uh the
barad the the hell but those that did
not pay attention did not put their
heart to it uh you know stayed outside
and they ended up dying meaning that the
opposite of fearing hasem is not not
fearing hasem but rather not paying
attention not paying attention to the
details so as soon as
themselves they themselves paid
attention to the great hand of hasem
they themselves arrived at this fear of
heaven and as soon as is arrived at at
the fear of
heaven then what happened
that's when they believed in hem they
had faith in hm inem and also in the
rabbi in
mosu how come this is the case because
as soon as a person realizes the hand of
hem is in control of everything and the
only thing that's in your hands is
whether you're going to listen to hem or
not you will arrive at fear why do you
fear because you're not realizing what
you're dealing with to a certain extent
and as soon as you realize what you're
you're dealing with you're dealing with
the creator of all creations with the
King of Kings the master of all Masters
you're dealing with
a you now that you realize who you're
dealing with then you can say I believe
in him I have faith in him why first and
foremost it will be foolish not to have
faith in him it'll be foolish not to
have faith in him once I know who he is
that's number one second of all now that
I know what to believe in I can believe
in it which means that all of these
other religions all of these other
different types of systems that people
have they say also that they have faith
they say also that they have uh all
types of beliefs but in reality their
beliefs are not the same as as a Jewish
belief why just like ra vido Miller
wrote uh uh or spoke in a lecture and
there was a write up that came out about
it that the belief of the Jews and the
Gentiles in God is not the same even
though some of them say that they
actually like the Muslims they say they
have the same God yes they do have the
same God or even the the Christians they
say they have technically even though
they believe God is three which is
idolatry nonetheless they say they still
have that one God but their one God is
not the same thing as our one God why
because they believe in a God that has
pieces they believe in a God that hates
Jews they believe in a god that is uh uh
contradicts himself and uh says that the
uh you know the Torah is eternal but
then changes it and says no there's
something else to continue it they their
their their Godly belief their Godly
belief is not the same thing as a Jewish
belief and that's one of the things that
a person needs to understand when they
are Torah observant they are now
excluded from the rest of society and
sometimes that Society is other fellow
Jews sometimes that Society it could be
family members could be friends could be
others but nonetheless this is not a
reason for you to hate everybody but
rather to First and foremost understand
that you yourself I myself didn't always
see the world with such clear lenses
like we do now through the Torah so if
you have somebody that
perhaps you care about or you have other
people that you see that they're not
seeing the truth there's no reason for
you to hate them but rather try to help
them try to help them because just like
you didn't see it in the past they don't
see it currently and just like it took
you x amount of time to arrive at this
Clarity it may take x amount of time for
them to arrive at that Clarity this is
the reason why we do kiru this is the
reason why we teach we're not teaching
people that already are in and already
know just for them to continue growing
forever we do want to teach those people
and we do teach those people but
nonetheless we're also teaching the
people that are brand new that don't see
the world clearly that don't know the
the uh the whether it's right or wrong
and that's one of the things that aadh
taught us with this that he didn't just
take out the completely righteous Levy
tribe that eventually became the qu Gad
and the levy that served in the bet
mikdash not just them he also took out
the ones that were in the middle and he
also took the ones that were Wicked
anyone that was willing to leave he took
them meaning anyone that was T willing
to take the leap of faith and just
follow hasem even if they didn't believe
100% you're willing to go I'll take you
I'll take you so that's in essence one
of the things that sometimes people ask
me listen I have a friend and he doesn't
really believe much he doesn't really do
much should I invite him to the lecture
that you're having next week of course
invite him that's the ideal candidate
it's the ideal candidate why because
perhaps he's going to come to the
lecture and be just like one of many
thousands of people B over the years
that came to a lecture and changed their
life I have one guy he came to a single
lecture a single lecture Maybe six seven
years ago one lecture in my house the
guy never heard Torah in his life didn't
know very much he came to one lecture
after one lecture I never saw the guy
never saw the guy but a year or a year
and a half later he contacts me and he's
a cute kid and he tells me listen Rabbi
I'm sorry I haven't seen a long time
I've just been really busy said what
have you been busy with said I've been
busy doing Chua I watch all your all
your lectures online and everything I
just uh haven't got the time to come to
the lectures but I want to let you know
that I did Chua I'm changing I'm keeping
Shabbat I protected my breed and so on I
said wow when did you do it he said
after the first lecture I said yeah wait
a minute but when you came to the
lecture you asked me a few questions and
you said that you're partially like
almost like an atheist he said yeah
before the lecture I was almost an
atheist after the lecture I believed in
God one lecture one lecture and this
young man I tried him throughout the
years got married with a has a has a
family now
is learns T and throughout all of these
years since he did cha I think it's been
maybe I don't know five six years
whatever it's been he only came to one
other lecture one time that's it I saw
him twice in my whole life but this
young man changed his life and many many
others like him from all over the world
so when people tell me should I come to
the event it's going to it's G to be a
plane ticket it's going to be difficult
I have this I have that of course of
course you should come but even more so
bring somebody with you yeah but the
people that I know they're not religious
exactly perfect bring them yeah but the
people that I know are already religious
exactly perfect bring them too everybody
needs it everybody needs it and that's
one of the most important things that a
person needs to understand is that in
today's world everyone needs to do Chua
everyone needs to anyone that does not
think he needs to do CH needs to do CH
just for thinking such a stupid thought
somebody came to thean and told him I
don't understand why do I have to read
the the every day on wef we read we
see i s uh accidentally uh you know on
purpose intentionally all types of
things I didn't sin I didn't steal I
didn't murder I didn't do this the ran
answers him and says to him young man if
you really
understood what those words really
mean and you really
understood what your actions that you're
doing really means not only will you
realize that you have to do the vi every
day but you'd realize how foolish your
question
is for thinking that you shouldn't be
included in the vi because if a person
truly understood what their actions are
and compare them to what the Torah says
everybody has to do chuba everyone for
something some people higher some people
lower some people for many some people
for few but the point being is is that
everyone needs to do chuba and that's
why we're starting these events we're
starting to get people together face to
face aside from the weekly lectures that
we do on video because sometimes people
need that extra that extra to see a
physical body to see something to see
other people in order to get inspired I
highly recommend everybody do whatever
they can to make sure not only to come
to the event but to bring somebody with
them or somebody's with them we have
people coming from New York we have
people coming from uh from Chicago we
have of course people that are local we
have a lot of people coming and it's
going to be a packed house but most
importantly it's going to be an
inspiring night it's going to be an
inspiring night that we're going to be
able to get closer
to together this is what wanted us to
understand from this week's Paras in the
beginning of it where we have to see the
hand of hem first and foremost secondly
we have to use that knowledge of the
hand of hem to fear him because once we
fear Him that's when we could officially
say we believe in him and once we
believe in him we can start noticing all
of the other things that he does for us
another thing that we also learn in this
par is that each one of the things that
a does he does for a reason even how he
instructs us to write the Torah itself
the Torah scroll itself you may not
notice it in your Kash I don't know if
you're reading an English or Hebrew but
you will notice it if you go to and you
see a you see the seph T in a section of
that started singing with the way that
the uh uh the uh the is to write a seph
t is usually it's to have different
paragraphs
sentences and so on but there are
certain sections of the Torah where the
uh we're instructed to have unusual
amount of separation between words in
this section where there's the song of
mosenu we have not only an unusual
separation but a unusual separation that
shows us something that happened during
this event what is that something if you
look at the words and I'll try to get
some type of image to put it on the
video tomorrow when it's put online if
you see the words on the seph T the way
that the sentence is broken up you'll
see that the sentences are broken up
into uh a bit of the sentence on the
right a bit of the sentence on the left
and then right under then between it
there's a complete empty space and then
the following line doesn't have anything
on the right doesn't have anything on
the left but rather has a few words in
the middle and then again repeated the
next line right left empty in the middle
big gap in the middle then again uh the
opposite what does all this look like
when you look at it you see what are
they singing they're singing that the
one and only split the ocean split the
ocean in such a fashion that it's
memorable
3,334 years later and that section of
the Torah looks exactly like how is
crossed the ocean each one in their own
tunnel
each one where the ocean was split as
the Torah says a blast from your
nostrils the water were heaped up
straight as a wall stood the running
water the water continued running but
straight as a wall to the heavens but
what with the blast of his nostrils what
does you mean blast of his nostril he
doesn't have a body doesn't have a uh a
nostril doesn't have a nose but in
essence trying to show us symbolically
show us that it didn't take much for hem
to do such a miracle for us it's grand
for us it's extraordinary but if
somebody says listen he blew air okay so
he blew air if he blew air from his
mouth and he really really tried okay so
he put all of his effort into it or if
he blew air a little bit okay but when
you say oh no the air came out of his
nose that's like something that's a
reflex it's not even something anybody
tries with and that's in essence what
the tah is telling us that from his the
nostrils the air from nostrils was
enough already to make the Waters of the
ocean not only split but go straight up
to the heavens like a wall and that's
how is crossed crossed the uh crossed
the
ocean here we also learn one of the
things
that that he's too awesome to praise
meaning that first and foremost when we
say for example the
after you complete the uh the section of
the and it ends with then it starts
giving all types of complements to
Hashem all types of descriptions to
Hashem he's amazing he's great he's this
he's that don't ever think for a moment
that these are it that's what the sages
teaches about that prayer don't think
for a moment that these are it here the
Torah tells us he's too awesome to
praise but we still praise him because
by praising him it's not for him it's
for us to remind us how great he is how
pure he is how righteous he is how
honest he is how everything that's good
he is the Praises are for us because
when we praise him we recognize how
great he is but don't ever think that
there is going to be enough praises to
really give you an understanding of who
a really is because no amount of Praises
will ever be enough furthermore we see
that despite all of the Miracles that
each and every one of B is saw with
their own eyes the tent plagues the
destruction of the mo the the greatest
civilization that lived uh as far as
power is concerned the uh all the
wonderful things they saw the splitting
of the ocean each tribe with their own
tunnel fruits and vegetables coming out
of the ground uh the Egyptians uh
drowning then getting swallowed up by
the ground but yet all of their uh
possessions their gold their diamonds
and everything else were spit back up or
stayed up in order for the Jews to
actually collect all of it despite all
of those Miracles what happens the Jews
unfortunately stopped learning tah for
just a couple of days and went back to
their natural self which is complaining
against
the they started complaining to Moshe
where we you going to drink we need
something now okay you're right you in a
desert you have a right to drink you're
right to you're right to ask for it but
why are you complaining why are you
complaining then we see that this
complaining was not something that liked
and not something thatu liked needless
to say and it
says so we see here thatu had to cry out
to hasem he had to cry to in order to
help him with this situation that there
is no water for them to drink why did
mosu have to scream furthermore we see
later in the par when when is again
complains about the food complains about
the food and it says that mosu again
cried out to hem he has to scream why
does he have to scream says in the uh in
chapter 17 verse number four
that uh they uh not the food they they
wanted water again and uh Moshe cried
out to hem why is mosu keeps screaming
to hem why does he it says means to
scream what hm can't hear you if you
whisper please do me a favor hook up a
little bit of water some mineral water
some spring water some uh Coca colola
maybe too I don't know hook us up why
does he have to scream why where else
did we
see that it
says that M cried out and screamed to
hasem where else do we see during the
plagues of the
frogs when the plague of the frogs
happened and caused destruction to parau
and his Empire over there eventually
says get this get this out of here get
these frogs out of here there m there's
death away from me already all of these
all these frogs so mosenu screamed out
to Hashem why do you have to scream to
Hashem you could simply whisper you
could do a little bit of uh pray in your
own uh in your own uh stomach pretty
much why do you have to scream to Hashem
this is how righteous mosenu was mosenu
wanted to make sure that no one out
there not the Egyptians and not the Jews
ever think that the salvation came from
him he wanted to make sure that
everybody knows that he is praying to
Hashem
he's praying to hasem don't pray to me
mhe like some of the other religions do
to their false gods don't pray to me
pray to
Hashem just like I pray to hem so mosu
screams out okay so you have your
praying to hm why do you have to scream
out because the frogs were so loud he
had to scream out in order to make sure
that everybody hears that he's praying
to Hashem and he himself is not stopping
the plague but rather Hashem is the same
same thing happened over here am was
complaining complaining meanings that
they were screaming yelling all types of
vile things why' you do this to us why
this why
that so mhu wanted to make sure that
everybody
knows we are nothing we're all nothing
we're all going to pray to hem I'm gonna
pray to hem and you see hem answer only
because I prayed to hem which you could
have done yourself why are you
complaining to me go talk
to this is what a lot of people do a lot
of people spend their time instead of
working on themselves by seeing in
creation by developing a fear of the
almighty and eventually getting to a
point of having faith in Hashem what do
they do they talk about their problems
to people they talk to people about
their problems they quetch they tell
people I have this problem boohoo to me
boohoo to me boohoo boohoo now again if
you're talking about your problems to
somebody that can help you and you're
asking for help that's one thing but the
reality is most people don't talk to
people that they can help they just
complain oh you see what happened to me
you see what happened to me you see what
happened to me they get so used to
complaining to people that as soon as
they run out of complaints about
themselves they talk about bad things
that other people did oh you see what he
did you see what happened to him you see
what happened to them you heard who how
much money they lost oh you heard they
got a divorce oh you heard their kid
something happened with them and sins
develop more and more sins develop
instead of working on themselves and
talking to AEM they talk to
people that's what m said we learned
already in
yam don't waste your time talking to
people talk to but first you have to
recognize that can help you so look at
all the goodies that you have you have a
house you have a wife you have a
husband you have kids
look at all the things you do have don't
look at the one thing you don't have
look at the things you do have you have
eyes you know how many people are blind
you have ears you know how many know
people are deaf you have a mouth you
know how many people have problems that
they can't even eat with with their
teeth they have to eat through a
tube you have the ability to go to the
bathroom you know how many people are
suffering that they have to go with
through tubes and all types of things
and you're still complaining why because
you don't don't have as much money as
you want to have like in your
fantasies when a person starts counting
their own chickens they realize that
they're rich only the person that's
counting somebody else's chickens thinks
that he's poor and the reality is that
when a person realizes all of the
wonderful gifts that has given him they
already
know just like says I'm already you've
already too much for me I'm so little
I'm nothing and you've already given me
so much what right do I have to complain
to you but unfortunately when we don't
notice we don't acknowledge what Hashem
has already given to us not only do we
not fear Him not only do we have trouble
having faith in him but even worse than
all of that we have fa we have no faith
in following his Torah we have no faith
in following the rabbis we have no faith
in following anything but our own
delusions and where do we go inet where
do we go for guidance from people that
are looking to pacify us friends family
Heretics aim all types of wrong places
that's where people go why because you
didn't go to AEM you ended up going to
the wrong place and evenu teaches
us what what do you screaming what are
you screaming for go I'm
nothing we're nothing what are you
screaming to me for go pray to hem and
that's one of the things that teaches
here this is an extraordinary Gula for
every single human being on planet
Earth if you hearken diligently to the
voice of Hashem your God and you do what
is just in his eyes who's his his is
Hashem if you do what is just in his
eyes meaning don't bring a missionary
for idolatry to your synagogue meaning
don't make fun of the sages meaning
don't mock the Torah in general meaning
don't go against the Torah and create a
new one a new religion a new uh newer
ideas don't just follow what his what
his Torah already said
if a person will hearken diligently to
the voice of Hashem your God and do what
is just in his eyes give ear to his
Commandments and observe all his
decrees not just some of the decrees not
just the ones that you like not just the
ones that you agree with not just the
ones that you believe in not just the
ones you understand but rather you
hearken to all of his Commandments and
all of his decrees
than any of the diseases that I placed
in Egypt I will not bring upon you for I
am AEM your
healer here we see that gives us an
extraordinary to
mankind if you follow his
Torah according to his understanding his
will meaning if you're a Jew you follow
the laws of the Jews if you're Gentile
you follow the laws of the Gentiles if
you're a gentile that's process of
conversion then you start following the
laws of the Jews 99% until you complete
your conversion but nonetheless you
follow his laws according to what he
said which thereby also means the
sages because the sages are the ones
that are telling us exactly what he says
they're interpreting the toah for us
then you have nothing to worry about
because all of the problems that he put
on Egypt whether it's the sicknesses
from the plagues before all of those
things he's not going to bring on you
why I your healer I your healer so why
did decide to to do all of this why did
mosu make this statement now and not
before and not after why didn't he wait
to mount saai to say such a thing
because this whole issue of them lacking
amuna after they already saw the
Miracles after they've already achieved
Thea only happened because they got to
the uh the place
where they stopped learning to for a
couple of days they stop learning toah
for a couple of days and that's when
they started
falling why because if you don't learn
toah each and every single day you're n
starts starving even if your body is
full your Nish starts starving and you
start having all types of craziness in
your head all types of problems that
that's why most people cannot even solve
their own problems why because their
problems are not physical material
problems they're spiritual problems and
that's the reason why it says right
before right before mosenu tells people
to follow diligently the voice of hasem
and follow his toah his Commandments and
his decrees what does it say in chapter
15 verse
25 and on to 20 uh uh 25 and 26 it says
there he established for the nation a
decree and an
ordinance what
is are elogical laws so mosu told is in
the name of
hem here we have a law
that's red heer it's a elogical law to
teach you that you don't have to
understand the tah in order to be
obligated to follow it you don't have to
understand the depth of Jud judgment in
order to understand that there is
Judgment you don't have to understand
everything in order for you to be
obligated to follow it there are laws
that are
called are laws that are not necessarily
always logical to us but there but we
are still obligated to do them and then
there was also the mishpat what was the
mishpat he taught them a couple of laws
the law of
Shabbat even though Mount siai was about
a month and a half
away he taught him about Shabbat now why
start toiling with the elogical laws and
the laws that make sense but also the
laws that make sense that don't
necessarily make sense completely and he
also throughout there throughout that
time where they went from yam all the
way to Mount Si the Z says thatu taught
them the consequence of not following
these laws whether they're logical or
illogical and thereby the Z says
taught them about G for a month and a
half a month and a half about Gom about
judgment why that makes sense to
everybody that makes sense to everybody
that wants to hear the truth the only
people it doesn't make sense to are
people that don't want to hear the truth
people that simply want to make a new
truth they think that God's going to
love them no matter what even their own
husband and their own wife doesn't love
them no matter what even uh they
themselves don't love themselves no
matter what even Society is not going to
love you no matter what but they think
that God is going to love them no matter
what even if they go against them even
if they go against the tah even if they
desecrated they think that God's going
to love them no matter what this is
obviously
ridiculous but nonetheless this is
unfortunately what's being taught in the
world today that no matter what you do
God will love you no matter what no it
doesn't work that way he'll love you in
a sense that he'll give you
opportunities to do Chua while you're in
this world but once a person can
completes their time in this world
there's no more love there's judgment if
you're righteous good judgment go to
good place
forever he didn't do
good could go to a bad place go to G
forever go to kafa Forever go to a lot
of places that are horrible
forever and this is one of the things
that a person already learned at the
time before Mount Z before Mount Z
this is one of the things that we needed
to have in order for us to get to the
next
level to earn the Torah itself and
because we passed this test over the
next month and a
half gave us the T gave us the tor
we too will also learn
from during this time and earn the tah
just like they did with that being said
you guys can start asking
questions I'm going to get a little
drink for a second
okay let's
see uh first question that I see is one
from Jeremy does writing off donations
on taxes take away from your SC can one
write off my sale Pon Fest uh or does it
have to be just uh other no uh writing
off
donations for tax purposes uh does not
uh lower your uh your reward that's just
an added benefit meaning you donate
money for the right cause for Torah for
kiru for good things you're going to get
a full uh reward in the uh in uh in the
next World and actually if if it's for
kiru you also get a reward for it in
this world and uh as far as having the
ability to write it off for tax purposes
that's just an added benefit it's a uh
it's it does not lower the reward that
you're going to get in this world in the
next uh next question I see from Ariel
uh I heard that the zor says that
someone that Wast seed goes to Gom and
never leaves
but says this means that not you go to
Gom it means that part of your soul that
is damaged does not Ascend enjoy the
glory of God I don't study Z regularly
just on this issue okay
so in regards to a person that Wast seed
if the person does not do chuva if the
person does not do chuva he goes to G
and he does not come out this is what is
said uh we actually learned yesterday
from the ramb uh
in uh this is a also in
the uh person that weigh seed goes to
the seventh level of G whoever goes
there does not come out this is also in
the and this is also in the Z and across
the board this is referring to somebody
that weighs seed intentionally and does
not do chuv they lose their this is uh
the the opinion of all this is not a uh
just the opinion of the Z or or anything
else now if a person does chuva then
they uh it depends on the level of Chua
that they did if they did partial chuva
then they'll have to go to Gom partially
if they uh do full chuva then they will
not have to go to Gom at all so it all
depends but in regards to a person that
weigh seed we have probably over a
hundred videos uh on the particular
topic which includes the the the
different ideas uh the the uh the
medical issues all of the different
things are all to be learned from those
lectures
uh and uh hence the reason why we're
even giving this stuff out uh for you to
help other people learn because most
people are um so addicted to the sin
itself that they look for reasons to
justify that it's not so bad in order
for them to continue so a person needs
to not fool themselves we don't make
things up we don't uh just come up uh
with things out of a uh out of a hat
what we say is what is written and we
bring sources for everything just
yesterday we talked about it in the
lecture it's in the ra we also talked
about it in countless lectures with
details uh there are literally over 40
or 50 hours worth of lectures that I
have about this particular topic that a
person that learns them will understand
completely not only that it's forbidden
but also the magnitude of the sin and
I've had
countless men both young boys uh you
know
teenagers uh uh guys in their 20s 30s
40s 50s rabbis aim uh religious
non-religious Jews non-jews people
literally from all walks of life that
listened to those lectures listened to
the movie listen to all of those things
and all arrive at the same conclusion
that this is the indisputable truth
this is real and nonetheless they have
to do chuv and countless people have
done chuva and have changed their life
and many of them told me how their life
have changed for the better uh you know
because of them doing chuva many of them
ended up making a lot more money many of
them ended up finding a spouse because
of it many of them ended up having a
better improved Health as a result of it
some literally had open Miracles because
of it all types of things so it's it's a
the reality is that the teach us to be
extremely careful of this sin so much so
that they say that you're not even
allowed to touch your bit if you're a
single guy at all period even if you
need to urinate okay so just so you
understand how horrible this sin is so
of course a person needs to know that
the sages are not just saying things
just because they want to be shock
Chucks I am not saying anything just
because I want to scare people I have no
benefit in one way or the other the
reality is this is a major tragedy that
people bring on themselves and the
bigger tragedy is when they hear the
truth and then they look for ways to uh
to uh rationalize their lies so again
the truth is out there anyone that wants
to fulfill it will be able to fulfill it
because thein says that as soon as a
person truly takes on to to do the will
of hem Hashem gives him the strength or
gives her the strength to be able to do
it and therefore the people that are not
able to fulfill a certain mitvah whether
it's the Mitzvah of chuva in general or
it's the Mitzvah of overcoming this
particular obstacle or it's the Mitzvah
of watching their eyes or it's the
Mitzvah of keeping Shabbat or Mitzvah of
giving or learning T whatever Mitzvah it
is if somebody's not succeeding in
fulfilling a Mitzvah it's because they
didn't really take it on they didn't
really take it on so a person needs to
be able to take it on so does that mean
that if a person takes it on he's going
to succeed with smooth sailing and never
fail no you will have bumps in the road
you will have bumps in the road the says
everything is hard in the beginning
everything in life everything is hard in
the beginning but that's what a person
needs to overcome once a person
overcomes that initial obstacle Hashem
was going to give them extraordinary
strength to continue overcoming it even
if there are going to be bumps in the
road they'll have the strength to
overcome those bumps as well
but the key is not to lie to ourselves
and think that oh if I don't end up
losinga then it's okay then oh if uh the
uh you know somebody will say you know
on a Blog that it's okay to invite an
idol worshipper then it's okay oh if
it's uh really not a sin to uh uh to
date a non-jew then I'll do it don't
don't lie to yourself person needs to
admit the truth stick with the truth and
once they're with it they'll have the
strength to overcome it and it's a uh
the important thing is to educate
ourselves about the truth and not
something that's going to contradict the
truth
um rosley we need to rebuild a temple uh
we can only do it once hem tells us to
do it and the HM is only going to tell
us to do it once the mhia
comes shom is that aspect
of and how important as you in the in
this
Millennium uh you're combining a bunch
of things uh as far as is the foundation
Foundation is the breit uh that's the
breit that's the issues of morality both
for men and for women a person that is
uh protects their uh their uh Foundation
their their you know morally righteous
people meaning they're not promiscuous
not with themselves not with others
they're uh even during uh permissible
times with their spouse they do it with
modesty uh they're not like animals in
the zoo uh they uh they're they're also
modest with their uh words their
behavior this is the issues of yod if a
person is
a modest with their and protects their
yod they can in essence sanctify
themselves and thereby make it easier
for them to accept what D is what is the
truth of the Torah what is the truth of
the Torah and as far as the importance
of
theim said in
the which interpreted for us that the
last generation before mashia there is
going to be a couple of things that are
going to be the tun of the generation
the biggest one is going to be the
issues of morality wasting seed
promiscuity all of those things that's
going to be the biggest thing for the
generation uh second thing is going to
be uh Torah learning Torah learning is a
uh uh second thing and also modesty I
mean technically all three are really
connected but nonetheless that's the the
uh if a person protects their breit it's
very easy for them to learn Torah and
their Torah brings them a lot of merits
if a woman is modest it's very easy for
her to learn and also observe the Torah
because she's pure but if a person is
not modest or if a person is not a
protecting their their B their they're
immoral they're promiscuous and so on
then even if they learn Torah
says all of the merits for that Tor all
of the good that that is comes out of
that Torah goes to give strength to the
goes to give strength to the Satan
himself it doesn't go to their account
they don't get reward for it so a person
that learns to but still stays immoral
uh does not get the merits of that to
and in fact a uh gets punished gets some
say that he actually gets punished for
it uh so again not doesn't mean that he
should stop learning but rather that he
should start following what he's
learning and many times the people that
are immoral end up uh you know not
accepting the toah that they learn so
they learned Tor but they learned Torah
like the ramban says naal
despicable with in essence with
permission by the Tora so he looks for
things to justify a Despicable Behavior
he looks for things in the Torah in
order to justify Dispicable Behavior
which of course anyone that wants to
find something and twist the words will
uh will uh you know can use the Torah
for it and and it's a unfortunately done
every
day tell are you allowed to have TV in
your house if you only watch news and
select programs okay so TV in the house
if you're using the TV as a screen to uh
to watch Torah uh and educational
programs for for kids which in essence
is Torah or let's if you're learning a
language or math you want to use a TV as
a screen you can use that it's no
different than a computer uh but to
watch the news absolutely not to watch
uh programs like a uh I don't know uh uh
all types of uh you know public
television programs absolutely not if
you want to use a screen for educational
purposes uh which is again to learn
Torah lectures you could watch this
lecture on your TV you could watch a you
could put the uh uh YouTube version of
this on your TV you could uh watch other
lectures by r mrai or other uh uh
righteous people on on on that screen
again whether it's a computer screen or
a TV it's the same thing or it's a phone
it's all the same thing uh you want to
use a that that program to watch a
education let's say I don't know uh
teach math or a some type of uh uh mik
some type of uh profession educational
program for that yes that that you can
use a screen for that but to watch
public television like news that's full
of absolutely not uh a uh public
programming like TV shows absolutely not
in fact the ston says it's idol worship
ston says it's idol worship to do such
things to bring such uh Toy Vine into a
house so again if you use a screen
whether that screen is a computer screen
an iPad screen a phone screen a uh or a
TV screen that you are putting programs
on it that you have control over and
again it's only that then you could uh
you could have a uh uh you could it for
that because again the whole world is uh
is is learning more to today on a screen
much more than they are learning from
books and Torah has become accessible
for people because of the screens but to
go and uh think that that's giving you
permission to watch uh television to
watch TV sports uh news uh all types of
uh Stupid shows no there's no permission
for doing that no uh no leniency and no
nothing um uh and uh again I I have in
my in my house we have a screen which is
there there's no cable in my house it's
simply a screen that's a uh computer
screen you have it on the wall and from
time to time my uh raban puts a specific
program a Torah program or some type of
educational program for my kids to watch
and uh get educated sometimes they'll be
educated from the books sometimes
they'll be educated uh from words she'll
teach them sometimes they'll be educated
by the screen so we use a combination of
all of it sometimes more sometimes less
but nonetheless of course we use a
screen uh for that purpose but to go and
give yourself or your children access to
the uh so-called secular world free
world to watch a screen and watch News
full of full of Gossip full of Filth
full of immodesty full of all that junk
absolutely not to watch movies
absolutely not to watch TV show
absolutely not simply nothing is allowed
on TV so that that's on a regular uh uh
uh cable uh so uh so therefore there's
no permission for it but again the
screen in itself you can use a screen
for good or for bad the screen you can
use for watching Torah the screen you
can watch you could use it to I don't
know hit a terrorist in the head or
something you can use a screen for a
couple of good things but to watch TV
and public TV and movies and things like
that no there's no permission whatsoever
for such a thing that is bringing what's
called to which is disgusting in the
eyes of hasem into your house and that's
forbidden according to all opinions
according to all opinions and in fact
even the uh the uh uh the permission to
use the
screen uh to watch anything is not
necessarily acceptable by everybody's
opinion there are some uh some righteous
people some that say even to teach even
to teach Torah you shouldn't do it with
the screen of course in the world today
uh we see that there's more good coming
out of this than there is bad from
learning from a screen uh but
nonetheless there are some opinions say
that even for that it's not good and
there's a certain certain part of it
that's 100% true why because when you
learn from a book versus when you learn
from a screen they're two different
things they're two different things why
are the two different things
because if you learn from a book first
of all it's usually much more difficult
when something is more difficult and you
end up overcoming it you end up
remembering it and and and really uh uh
uh connecting to it much more versus
when I give you guys a lecture I'll give
you I don't know sources that took me
years to acquire all on a silver platter
in a matter of a couple of hours and
nine out of 10 things that I said people
are not even going to remember and
almost 10 out of 10 things that I said
no one's going to write down uh you know
so it's it's so it's yes a lot of work
came into it give you a lecture you have
the information but in essence it's a
it's not something that always sticks
with people usually most people get one
two things out of the entire lecture
that really impact them and the rest of
it is as if it never happened but it's
still better than not watching the
lecture because it's two three hours
that you're not uh doing something wrong
and it's still educational it's still
informative and it's still good but
again the stuff that's really going to
stick is usually one or two things
whereas when you read something you'll
usually you'll you'll acquire a lot more
you'll usually acquire a lot more but
the problem is most people are not going
to read either they're not going to read
at all or they're not going to read all
the time so studying by video is
something that is extremely valuable on
the other hand the the the the downside
of videos is that sometimes we'll see
imagery in the videos that actually
instead of doing what the objective is
which is to give us an imagery to uh uh
to to give us a sense of what's
happening and and and try to make us
have a uh emotional uh uh reaction to
certain things sometimes those very same
images will actually have a negative
effect on us and I'll give you an
example that I saw in myself now most
people think of Mount sa when they think
of Mount saai if they are b or if they
simp
uh were not uh uh extremely observant
their whole life and they watched movies
and so on when people think of Mount Sai
they think of some film that they
watched that gave them an imagery of
what Mount saai looked like and what the
Exodus looked like so it looked like a
huge group of people came out uh and uh
and a huge group of people gathered in
Mount saai and in essence it's a uh so
when you think of it I think of it uh
you know it's a uh uh the movie that I
saw I don't know 30 something years ago
was the Ten Commandments I don't
recommend for anybody to watch it but
nonetheless that's the movie that I saw
30 something years ago okay so now I
think okay that's Ten Commandments there
was a mountain there was a lot of people
there uh there was Moses with two
tablets that he's holding in his hands
and that's in essence a visual that's
still stuck in my head now initially you
think oh this is good so at least you
have a concept of that there was a lot
of people and it was a mountain
and this and that right until you start
learning once you learn Tor you start
realizing that those images are actually
ruining you why because those images in
essence what they're doing to you is
that they're putting that that event
that happened in Mount saai in a
comprehensible format that you can not
only visualize but you could really
truly understand the scope of it so in
what you're seeing is you're seeing that
there is a leader that looks like an
older man and then you have a huge group
of people that's somewhat equivalent to
what you see in a a uh football stadium
uh or a uh baseball stadium you see I
know 20 30 40 50,000 people so in
essence that imagery is not really what
happened why is that important because
told us in the Tor that what he did at
Mount sa what he did to take us out of
Egypt is a memorable event so much so
that we have to be reminded of it every
single
day because it is something that's
incomprehensible it's beyond our Logic
No human mind could truly understand it
without being there and even if you were
there was literally impossible to
comprehend the massive scale of what
took place so when you have an imagery
of 30 40,000 people that you saw in some
film okay versus what really happened
which is literally millions of people
millions and millions of people you
can't see the end we're talking about
miles miles of people like it's it's
it's it's it's something that is not
comprehensible to a human being because
you've never seen such a thing what it's
like is in the movie It's like a bunch
of people went to a football game and a
bunch of people left so you see them
going in there's a lot of people in line
getting out of the cars you know all
excited they're all sitting in a stadium
cheering You See It Roar noise and so on
then everybody leav at the same time a
little bit of traffic for a little while
and then everybody eventually goes home
a few hours okay that's in essence
comprehensible what happened really in a
tah is not comprehensible it's not
comprehensible why because it's miles of
people miles of people
and it's literally something that the
human mind cannot comprehend and it what
it's like is as if the entire state of
New York okay the entire state of New
York we're talking about millions of
people probably 20 million people in New
York I believe now okay all of them all
of them decided to leave New York and go
to
Texas that's what happened that's what
the that's in essence what happened or I
don't know if people may makes people
happy everybody in New York all gathered
they all agreed to leave which is in
itself incomprehensible for people they
all agreed to walk no
driving they all left their house took a
little baggie some food in it and just
started walking hey smoy how are you oh
hey Joe and everybody started walking
and before you know it there are
literally millions and millions of
people all at the same time walking
endlessly all the way to
Florida can somebody comprehend such a
thing no no it's not comprehensible
hence the reason why tells us to reminds
us to remind oursel of this onetime
event that never happened before will
never happen after until mhia comes when
there's going to be even bigger Miracles
but it's something that never happened
to any other Nation nor other the nation
even claims it as a false story that
these types of things happen and
needless to say all of those people
arrive at the same
destination and all saw the words of God
and we're talking about miles and miles
of people forget about the number people
usually try to say oh yeah it was 3
million at least it was 5 million it was
10 million forget the number the number
is not comprehensible to people think
about distance think about distance
think about from let's say for example
it takes you I don't know takes you uh
uh an average person walks 4 miles per
hour that's where an average person
walks okay four miles per hour so that
means that every mile is 15 minutes so
imagine to to walk to walk from the
beginning of the camp to the end of the
camp it's going to take you more than an
hour some say it was actually going to
take you somewhere closer to 3 hours to
go from beginning of the camp to the end
of the camp it's it's not something and
that's just the people that's just the
people and all of those
people are all walking together with
their kids with the babies with
everything for years together this is
not something that's comprehensible so
the massive scale
of the massive scale of Mount saai was
only ruined by the imagery we all
allowed into our minds so from there
those sages are 100% right because if
you asked
the if you asked the the uh the bov if
you asked R AKA all of these things that
happened to us they would give you an
imagery that's even clearer than the one
that I just gave you because the Torah
was much clearer to them and it would be
even more in comprehensible to us
because it's just so massive and the
only reason why we think we understand
it is because we saw an image of it but
that understanding is limiting excuse me
is limiting hasem it's limiting hasem
why it makes the miracle of Mount sa the
miracle of The Exodus smaller than what
it was and thereby not as influential
not as extraordinary not as magnificent
and not as obligatory for us to
appreciate for us to live by because
it's okay it's a football stadium what's
the big deal I see football stadiums all
the time that's in Ence the human mind
like okay so I go to soccer games all
the time there's a lot of people there
what's the big deal so okay so all those
people went to Israel big deal why
because the mind the yet saw in essence
people go to a soccer match and thinks
okay so they went to Mount Si what's the
big deal no that's the problem that
imagery ruined us and it's important for
a person to learn the
mid and the the the thear and all the
different teachings about what actually
transpired without always adding an
imagery to it uh because again the
imagination that you have naturally is
much more developed than the imagery
that's available out there in the world
and the imagination of a child for
example can reach much much further
places than the imagination of an adult
because the adult is full of is has seen
a lot of things in their life that limit
their
imagination so that's why when you tell
all types of Supernatural stories to a
child it's very easy for them to believe
it's very easy for them to be influenced
it's very easy for them to accept it and
to to just be amazed by it whereas when
you teach some of these things to adults
are you sure about that what's the
source for that story can you give me a
source for that like as if it makes a
difference if I tell you it's in a book
or it's not in a book I mean what do you
think I'm in a business of making stuff
up for what purpose exactly so that's
the thing is that people are constantly
don't want to believe something because
their imagination can't get their head
around it so they want to justify a way
how they could justify not to believe it
and that's unfortunately the problem
because sometimes we have certain mid
that uh if you have tainted your mind
with this world too much it's impossible
for you to believe just for example
learn about the midashim of what
happened in the BET mikdash what
happened in the BET mikdash how many
people were actually killed how many
people lived there before the
destruction the average person that
reads those midashim simply no no it's
all Parables it's all analogies it's not
real automatic automatically arrives at
the conclusion that it's all not real
it's all imagination it's all some other
message that nobody ever knows because
it cannot be humanly possible that that
many people lived in Jerusalem but the
reality is that the only reason why we
have those beliefs that are lackings of
of of belief is because we tainted our
minds with other things so the less the
less imagery the less uh uh things you
put in your mind the better quite
frankly if somebody has the ability to
just listen to my shim versus watch them
I would say that's also uh uh even
preferable even preferable why first of
all I'm not exactly uh such a good-look
man that you need to look at me exactly
and second of all even more more more uh
uh serious is that perhaps the words may
reach even a deeper place in your
imagination if you don't have any
visuals distracting you especially if
you're watching me on like a uh Facebook
and you have all these comments and all
these distractions on the screen uh it's
it's you know usually these things hurt
the imagination that's why I always tell
people watch the uh lectures if you want
to watch them live watch them on on our
app or watch them on the website
BH dolive uh that's all you know you can
watch it there on your desktop instead
of watching it on Facebook we're still
doing a Facebook live because there are
always new people that join us because
of the of the social network but
nonetheless if you are already a uh a
subscriber you're already a student
you're already a friend you're already a
supporter don't watch on Facebook watch
on the app or watch on the browser
b. live that's the best place why
because there there's no distractions
there's no texting there's no nothing
there's no a uh distractions and and and
I think it's it's also very valuable
again in regards to the questions for
this particular uh series uh we'll have
to figure out a way of how to get
questions from those other terminals but
the other lectures that there is no
questions there it's best to watch it on
those other places so again there is a
great value uh for uh the using a screen
uh for the sake of learning toah but
that does not give us any permission to
use that very same screen or other
screens to watch things that are
forbidden but even what's allowed we
have to be very careful with because
sometimes what's allowed can end up
hurting us nonetheless
okay next question uh Ricardo is asking
oh I the question just got erase Ricardo
sorry it's um every time somebody asks a
question the the terminal uh erases
it okay
uh okay
okay is is asking is it a punishment
from Heaven if someone has difficulty
learning from printed books even using
glasses can you replace partially the
books with recordings or shim on
TV uh like I said learning from a uh
book learning from a is the highest
level uh learning from a screen uh or or
audio is uh is also good I mean the guys
that for example our four students that
completed the sh in one year they did a
combination where they would learn from
the the duff through recordings as well
as reviewing it you know and actually
reading the actual page itself they
needed that extra uh help to understand
from an audio recording so the audio or
the the video is definitely helpful
uh but that does not absolve a person
from the need of actually reading books
you do need to read books the more the
better but again always remember always
make sure it's kosher books not just uh
you know books that uh are uh popular
today uh next one Marshall is asking
good evening Robert ruen I have been
wanting to know how can we distinguish
when it's aem's will that we do
something in personal decisions rather
than our guilt following other people's
advice how do we
know I know everything is from Hashem
and he controls what happens but how do
we know when he wants us to do something
so in essence if a person needs to uh uh
Act Naturally in in in his uh in his uh
world where you know we learned from
this week's par that is they left Egypt
but they took weapons with them they had
weapons why they need weapons if Hashem
is with them because from there the
teaches us that we all are obligated to
Act Naturally in the world to to work to
make a living to uh to to eat to do all
the things that people naturally need to
do and if Hashem needs to and we have
the Merit for him to help perform a
miracle okay but nonetheless hasem
prefers for us to use the uh the natural
world to operate in our in our life so
now how do we know that our actions are
are what Hashem wants or our actions are
against what hasem wants we simply look
at what is the what am I doing if a
person is doing business is that
business uh honest business or not
honest business if it's a honest
business then he uh he's he's allowed to
do it and he he needs to provide a
living for his family it's perfectly
fine but if it's a dishonest business
then of course that's not what Hashem
wants but again with honest business
honest in itself is not just honest in
sense that you don't steal from people
is honest also honest in regards to
compliant with the Torah itself if his
business is a business of let's say
pornography although he makes his money
honestly where people are paying him the
money he's not stealing from them that
business produces sin so thereby that
business itself is forbidden regardless
of how he makes the money still the
business's nature itself is is forbidden
if uh let's say he is a uh uh a lawyer
okay now if he is a business lawyer that
and a Jewish business lawyer is usually
fine as long as he's complying with the
Torah he's fine but a Jewish criminal
lawyer has a lot more problems why
because if part of his criminal law is
to defend guilty people then he has a
very very serious problem why because he
is trying to be a good lawyer but the
same token he's also going to try to
defend guilty people he's going to try
to defend the pedophiles and the rapists
and the gangsters and the drug dealers
because they pay him so that's obviously
very very problematic so even though the
business in itself they pay him honestly
but the business itself is immoral so a
person needs to make sure that they are
righteous with hem with whatever they're
doing if it's business the business has
to be in accordance with what to is if
it's a uh anything else really anything
else that he they he do needs to be in
accordance with what is allowed and what
is forbidden in the Torah Jew or Gentile
so a uh so a person needs to know before
they do anything they needs to know whe
whether they're allowed to do it whether
they're not allowed to do it if you're
allowed to do it then go ahead and do it
if AEM uh wants you to succeed in it
he'll allow you to succeed uh because
that's his will if he wants you to fail
he'll allow you to fail because that's
his will why would he will for you to
fail perhaps because he wants something
else to happen but this needed to happen
in order for that to happen meaning you
needed to get a flat tire on the way to
an appointment to close a deal with for
a million dollars and that flat tire was
going to cost you the appointment cost
you the client cost you a potential
million dollar deal and cost you to get
fired Hashem wanted all those bad things
to happen to miss the appointment end up
losing money because of a flat tire end
up losing a client end up losing
reputation end up losing a lot of things
why because now that you're
fired you've had it with working for
other people and you decide decided to
start your own shop and your own shop is
a much more kosher business than the
business you were working with and ends
up giving you P much higher Much More
Much More kosher to this new Avenue but
all of those other things had to happen
in order for you to go strike out on
your own because you didn't have the
courage to strike out on your own when
you had that job because there was so
much potential there and and so and
there's so much risk starting your own
thing but once a person lost all hope
because he lost that job and he decides
to start on his own because he doesn't
have the confidence that anybody else
will hire him Hashem ends up giving him
the Salvation because of that uh uh
disaster that happened to him so in
essence all of that was part of the
calculations of Hashem all of that was
God's will but you had to go through all
of that in order for God's will to be
fulfilled but nonetheless as long as a
person goes in a straight path and
doesn't uh go against the Torah he could
be assured that regardless of what he's
doing he's doing the will of hasem and
again it's a uh it's it's not so
difficult to uh to look at our own moral
compass to know whether it's what we're
doing is right or wrong and even if
somebody has questions about whether
what they're doing is right or wrong
there is a Torah that's available there
are rabbis that are available that can
simply tell you honestly whether what
you're doing is right or wrong but again
we have to be very careful with the way
we ask questions because many times
people ask questions you know uh in in
such a way that it already leads the
person to a certain answer you know like
saying oh uh listen I have some Jewish
guy that's not religious coming to speak
at the synagogue about Israel what do
you think okay it sounds great that
sounds great that's like what refm told
ra there's some Jewish guy that's not
religious going to talk about Israel but
in reality what should he have said he
said listen I have a Jewish guy that's
actually practicing Christianity and is
also a missionary he's going to come to
a synagogue to speak to a bunch of
people about Israel what do you think
every normal person whether it's or any
other Rabbi out there that has would say
absolutely not it's forbidden according
to all opinions but of course it's the
way you ask the question so if you're
going to ask a question honestly you'll
get an honest answer but if a person
asks a question dishonestly then of
course they've already decided what the
answer is they're just looking for
somebody to agree with them or Justify
their their uh their deeds so a person
ask the question the right way they'll
get the right uh answer uh if they ask
from the right source but in general
overall your uh your question is a very
very important one and I think that this
is one of the things that uh reminds all
of us why we need to have a rabbi why we
need to have D because many times our
moral compass is biased our moral
compass is not clear our moral compass
is a uh you know has a desires uh so we
have to double check with the rabbi to
see what's right and wrong and uh if a
person uh has a rabbi and he asks the
question they'll get the answer and
they'll be able to know what to do and
they'll know that when they did the will
of hem they'll see that there's that the
when you do the will of hem there's also
a different feeling that comes with it
there's a certain pleasure that a person
gets spiritual pleasure that a person
gets when they do the will of hem uh
whereas when a person does just simply
their own will uh at best they'll get a
physical pleasure but they won't get a
spiritual pleasure
this is really not something that you
could explain this is simply something
that you could either see or not see uh
you know on your own on your own life
next question uh are adult toys allowed
in a religious marriage uh are they
allowed I mean listen this is a uh not
necessarily a very common thing uh in in
religious
marriages uh mainly because it's
generally not needed uh people that
typically have these types of things
usually have uh other problems other
problems uh that uh can create uh can
create a lot of issues can create
promiscuity can create
adultery can create uh all types of
other uh issues is it clearly forbidden
is it no is it clearly Allowed no uh
each thing has to be evaluated Case by
case bases but generally speaking it's
it's not something that uh uh a person
should uh ever use unless there's you
know uh serious problems and even then
typically these things are not necessary
typically it's because a person has
tainted their mind with all types of
pornography and filth and uh just
like says that when a person taints
their mind uh they end up being
promiscuous either with themselves or
with other people and when that's not
enough because they want something
that's more taboo they become even more
promiscuous and when that's not enough
they end up becoming even more
promiscuous with the same with something
more taboo whether it's with uh you know
adulterous relationships or ancestral
relationships or it's with uh homosexual
relationships and even when when they
continue with that and that's not enough
then they go to animals meaning that a
person that is uh going to constantly
try to
fulfill their physical IAL desires is a
person that's never going to be
fulfilled and is going to uh never have
enough and these types of uh tools
typically lead to that type of Destiny
typically lead to that type of
destination uh and thereby it's a it's
not something that anyone would ever
recommend using if they
have uh but again there there are
certain circumstances where even such
things are permissible but it's not
normal thing to permit it's not a normal
thing to permit like I I know they do
that a lot in the modern Circle and
there are even Wicked people that call
themselves rabbis that uh even talk
about this stuff like they're talking
about uh you know Shabbat dinners but no
this is not an appropriate uh thing to
to bring to a regular normal house uh
this is like a uh uh you know something
that is not it's not it should not be
standard in anybody's house put it that
way once people you know make the taboo
standard it becomes very very
problematic and leads to a lot of
problems uh but to say everything is
forbidden is not true either so a person
needs to know where they stand typically
it's not something that belongs in a
religious house that that's that's
really the the the best answer but again
there are certain exceptions uh but
again it's only because uh the people
are healthy mentally but perhaps not
healthy
otherwise you know so that's that's a uh
but if a person has ruined thems uh you
know mentally and they think that their
wife is supposed to be like somebody
they saw on a screen or she thinks that
a husband needs to be like somebody she
saw on a screen then most more times
than not uh no uh no device will ever
fix that uh that mentality it's only
very very serious chuva and if you guys
only knew if you guys only knew what the
uh what the sages write about somebody
that was immoral one time a woman that
was immoral one time what the the the
tun for that is forget what the
punishment is because the punishment is
incomprehensible to us but when the
sages write about the tikun meaning the
Chua process for a woman that was
immoral a single time she let's say
committed
adultery literally you guys would start
if you understood what it says if you
read the books and you understood what
it says or you heard the lecture and you
understood what it said literally you
start
shaking uncontrollably and crying
hysterical people have no concept no
concept of what our sages say about
people that are promiscuous people that
are immoral they have no concept no
concept of how much the punishment is uh
for a person and thereby to fix that to
remove that punishment how heavy the
chuba process truly is people have no
concept of what it is there's some sages
say there is no tun for it there is no
tun for being immoral there is no tun
for for committing adultery for a woman
to commit adultery there is no tun for
it but to the best of our abilities she
can fast every single day for three
years every day until night only eat at
night for three years straight wear
black for the rest of her life never put
any makeup on never put on any jewelry
uh never look beautiful
uh uh never talk to anybody be in a
corner publicize her sin to the women
that to to show everybody that she's a z
i mean if I told you guys what the sages
say about women that sin an adulterous
relationship literally you would shake
uncontrollably even if you're a guy even
if you're a guy because needless to say
it means the same thing for for
guys for other sins that they make so
people have no con cep no concept of How
Deep The judgment is and we're not
talking about fanatic people we're not
talking about only one Sage said it
we're talking about across the board
anyone that talked about the process of
Chua anyone that talked about tikim and
things of that nature literally it's
it's Earth shattering it's Earth
shattering what the Chua process really
is for certain people and people think
oh no listen I'll just put on a nicer
dress
I'll just get a shorter wig and I'll
give $18 a month to Rabbi Ruben and
that's it I'm aad it doesn't work like
that it doesn't work like that it
doesn't work like that I'm telling
you if you only
understood understood half the stuff
that I've ever learned in my life you
would think that I'm not speaking strong
enough you would say Rabbi why don't you
say the truth you call me a liar that's
what you say to me if you UND if I
understood everything that's out there
I'd call myself a liar but I know that
most people can't handle the complete
truth even my Gom was censored put it
that way anyone that watched the Gom sh
left that sh scared to death anyone that
watched the kafak killer Sho left the
Sho scared to death anyone that watched
tuna bre movie left that movie scared to
death if you didn't you should check
your pulse but guess what all of what I
said was censored
that's the censored version because if
you truly understood what actually
transpires in the next world you would
simply shake uncontrollably and lose all
sense of reality and that's not what we
want we want people to move forward grow
get better and little by little you know
we peel another layer of of of the onion
and get you closer to Hashem closer to
hasem closer to Hashem closer to
Hashem but if people really understood
what's required of them what they're
supposed to
do You' say I'm not doing enough I'm
telling you you'd say I'm not doing
enough and I'm telling you if if if if
if uh uh if my Rabbi would would tell me
that this is what I was supposed to do
more I would do more but I'm doing the
best that I can it's it's this is what
the this what I do is already in
tolerable for so many people we have
tens of thousands of followers and
students and and fans and and and people
that learn and get grow and grow but
still look still still even even even
though we have all those it's still a
small fraction of the Jewish world and
of the world in general and look there
are I don't know how many but there are
still quite a few people that are so
disturbed by the truth that we teach
that is full of sources from the tah
that you could find an practically
endless amount of books but they're so
disturbed by it that they call us
Fanatics they call us Hitler's Rabbi
they calls all types of names as if
we're making stuff
up like the truth is so unbearable to
some people that they simply cannot
tolerate and this truth that I'm telling
you guys is literally the children's
version this is the children's version
like some people ask me can my kids
listen should I have my kids listen to
your lectures I said of course why not
oh they're scary you think this is scary
the truth is much scarier I'm like a
little puppy next to the pages of what
they said in the previous generation if
you just if you guys just spend some
time reading some of these books cuz
you're not going to see videos with this
stuff you're not going to see videos
there maybe just a couple of rabbis in
the world that say some of the stuff
that's really there uh and even that
they they only intended for it to be to
a exclusive
crowd uh so it's again it's put it this
way Tora says in
you be holy cuz I am Holy therefore each
person needs to think is what I'm about
to acquire is what I'm about to do is
what I'm about to say going to make me
holy like AEM obligated me to as to
Aspire to be or is going to do the
opposite is that toy that car that deal
that relationship that statement that
what ever going to make me
holy or the opposite if it's going to
help me become
holy then why not it's a mitvah but if
it's going to do the opposite the hell
am I thinking what the hell am I
thinking and that's what a person needs
to really think you don't need to know
all the details of the punishment in
order to understand that punishes that's
why when they ask the rambam why didn't
hasem give all the details of G in the
Torah itself he says because he doesn't
need to once you see the punishments he
says that happen in this world
in
in and some of these other places in
theor when you see the punishment that
he promises to to bring to the world to
an individual's life in this world you
and you you understand what he's saying
there that a person's going to have to
eat their own kids and have all types of
strange diseases with no cure and all
types of horrible things when a person
understands these punishments that are
in this world you know you don't need to
be a genius to realize that the next
world that's unlimited will have much
worse punishment you don't need details
of Gom because you realize that at the
very minimum it's just as
bad that's at the very minimum and most
likely it's worse and of course it is
much worse but the point being is is
that when a person is is is is wise they
ask themselves is what I'm about to
do for Hashem against
Hashem sanctify me make me
impure good bad allowed forbidden that's
what a person that's what a smart person
does male female Jew Gentile whoever
each person has to ask themselves is
what I'm about to do follow the good
side or the bad
side and
be honest with themselves and they'll be
able to if they pray to Hashem they'll
be able to get the
answer on a consistent basis next
question uh if a noahide has doubts
about Judaism but keeps all the Mitzvah
will he still go to G edin the ra that a
Noah that observes the noahide laws only
because they make logical sense to him
not because God commands them is not
only considered a a fool but also a fool
that is not going to get rewarded for
his uh for his mitv because he did not
fulfilled them because God said he
fulfilled them because his logic said
and thereby he's not going to have a
share of the world to come only a person
that follows the Torah because God said
so will get the share in the world to
come whether Jew or Gentile uh so
therefore if a person has doubts they
have to do whatever they can to
eliminate those doubts uh whether it's
the different proofs that God exists or
proofs that the Torah is divine or uh or
or different things there is an endless
amount of information available out
there from the Jewish world uh on video
on audio in books that if a person truly
wants to know the truth they'll have the
availability to do it do Jewish women
have any laws against masturbation yes
absolutely it's forbidden r
that the uh women being uh promiscuous
with themselves is
considered the acts of Egypt and
therefore is forbidden it is not as evil
in the eyes of hem as let's say the evil
of wasting seed for men but nonetheless
it is evil uh and the Ben is says she
still creates demons and she still has
to do a tun for it she still has to do
Chua for it because she will get
punished for it if she doesn't do chuba
so yes it is forbidden for a woman to be
promiscuous with herself uh and it does
create demons uh it's it's not as Grave
of a sin as a man but again for all
intents and purposes uh it's it's a it's
it's bad and this is bad and this is bad
it's just that that one is going to get
Eternal Gom and that one's going to get
Gom for a really really long time either
way it's a bad place so a person needs
to do Chua and
the and others that discussed this
particular sin in the way of Chua they
said that women have to do chuva for it
the same way that men have to do Chua
for it with uh the process of chuva
which is stopping the
sin um uh staying away from such things
that that Inspire that sin to uh to cry
and do chuva for it and also to do tiim
to tiim uh with either fast or with
money or a combination thereof uh to
eliminate the sin altogether uh from
their record from the past but of course
number one thing is to stop it that's
the number one thing whether the male or
female it's it's forbidden according to
all
opinions uh what's the best statement
that tells how great our sages
are I believe it's page 108b says that
the uh the sages themselves
theim uh these are sages that lived
about 15,600 years ago they themselves
said uh and these are people that were
able to resurrect the dead you know with
their prayers because they're named by
name in thear
the says anyone that's named by name in
the is able to resurrect the dead and in
fact in the I learned today
in uh that uh there was a sage that uh
is only mentioned once in the it's only
mentioned once in thear and uh this uh
this uh Sage he
um what his
name
yeah is only mentioned once in the here
in and he says a certain teachings and
the sages say listen we don't really
knowas
uh is he
reliable he says yeah of course he
reliable why is he
reliable cuz he uh said a teaching of
uh of why the uh the uh husband of the
pus the concubine why did he get mad at
her he said that uh it's because uh the
husband found a fly in his plate and
raban said that it's because that uh
it's because was a
uh he found hair in her in his plate
that's why he got mad and that's why he
got angry at her and then she ran away
the concubine ran away and then she
ended up getting raped and uh and killed
and so on but the point being is there
was a between
andan he said it's the the whole
argument that's mentioned in the tanak
uh the whole argument that's mentioned
in the tanak in the uh the Book of
Judges chap
uh 18 uh the end of chapter 18 is
because uh the husband got mad at his
concubine because he found something in
his food says it's because he found one
thing andan said it's because he found
something else one said he found a fly
the other one said he found hair so this
that's only mentioned once in
the and he
asked what do do right
now says actually right now he's
learning to oh why is he learning right
now in fact what he's learning right now
is you is what you said what what what
do you mean what he said he said look
look at my children my
son says that what happened in this
event is that he got mad because he saw
a flying in his plate and my son
raban says it's because he found the
hair in his
plate is it really possible that hm
doesn't know goes no no it's not that he
doesn't know it's that what ISM saying
look my sons they're debating the Torah
he's saying it's because of a fly he's
saying it's because of a because of hair
but both of them are
right this and this are both words of
the living Gody they both happened
that's what hashm is saying they both
actually happened but initially when he
saw the fly he didn't get mad but once
he saw the hair he lost his mind and he
scared it to death and she ended up
running away so that says s just just
finalized the uh that's what he said so
now tells the other sages oh I got from
that's what actually happened and say
now we
know is a he's a he's a g he's a giant
what because he saw no not because he
saw other people saw is great says that
says that sees and says Shalom to him
and returns a Shalom to him but that's
not that's not the reason why raas is
considered great in the Tor great among
the sages he's considered great because
he got to the he got to the truth if he
got to the truth that's that's the uh
that's a that's a great person that's a
great person you could rely on this is a
in beginning of the page 6B so uh anyway
the uh the the sages
themselves these very same sages that
I'm talking about in theat tractate
Shabbat they say the sages from the
previous generation were so great that
if we think of them as them being Angels
then that would make us like human
beings meaning there is no comparison
between us and them they're like angels
and we are like human beings but if we
don't see them as Angels let's say we
see no they're just men then we are like
donkeys but not like donkeys like a uh
the donkey of the father-in-law of
Rim but rather a regular donkey what
what's the what's the so special about
that particular donkey that donkey was
smart enough to never eat anything
unless you took M out of it he was a
special donkey we're not even that
donkey we're a donkey that's a
donkey and from there we learn that they
themselves looked at themselves as
donkeys if the sages that live just a
generation before them we're talking
about 40 50 years before them we not
talking about thousands of years so the
Ben
says if a person doesn't see the the uh
uh the sages not just the sages of the G
not just the Sages the that lived 800
years ago 700 years ago not just the
sages of 500 years ago but even the
sages of the previous generation to him
if he doesn't see them like they are
literally like like angels in comparison
to him then for sure he's a donkey
meaning that if a person does not
understand who the sages are of even of
his own generation or the previous
generation that they're that much
greater than he is then for sure he's a
donkey needless to say we all know that
the sages of the previous generation are
even greater than the sages of
now you can't compare the sages of let's
say 200 years ago to the sages of the of
the of the G they were great they were
great but we see from the gar itself
that even they among themselves said the
ones from before us were even greater
than us so needless to say the ones of
even now but for us ourselves there is
no comparison this is not supposed to
discourage somebody but the opposite
it's supposed to encourage somebody that
you have something to rely on because
the Torah that you're learning is the
Torah of all of these great sages that
lived over the last few thousand years
meaning that the greatest Minds that
ever existed in all of mankind belonged
to am is the greatest minds and that is
the Torah Scholars and a person that
learns Torah today whether they are
learning the commentary on the by
the your your learning uh the uh uh some
of the the other more more uh uh uh
later uh sages whatever you're learning
you're learning the or you're learning
the from the stages of 15600 years ago
1700 years ago or you're learning the
Mish from 2 years ago the Z from 2,000
years ago or you're learning the from
500 years ago or you learn learning the
the cabala or you're learning the uh the
the P scheme that we've had over the
last Thousand Years uh or you're
learning the the great sages of the of
the last
generation uh the the uh uh all of the
other great sages that that wrote
uh all types of responses you are
learning from the greatest Minds that
ever lived in all of
mankind in all of mankind so the fact
that they're greater than you and
greater than you can ever be is not a
discouragement it's an encouragement
that you now everything that you're
learning you have something to rely on
you don't have to worry about is this a
mistake you don't have to worry about
did somebody double check
this because everything has been checked
everything has been double checked
everything has been discussed and you
now have literally Torah that has been
toiled and toiled and toiled and
toiled the the Mish says toil in it and
toil in it because everything is in it
so a person that learns today has a lot
to rely on why because he is now
standing he has uh Torah that's standing
on the shoulders of the greatest sages
that ever lived the greatest mindes that
ever lived the greatest people that ever
lived and you have that available to you
on sometimes on a YouTube video
sometimes in a book sometimes in the
audio and you you have this available to
you so that is something that's great
unfortunately there are certain people
in the world uh that are so arrogant
that they think that they could be
compared to some of the great sages and
in fact they don't like to hear that the
sages are greater than them they want
the sages to be just like them just like
they want
to be just like them and that's why
those people have no share of the world
to come uh you know because they they're
so far from the truth they don't belong
in a place of
Truth uh that's it that's it we're going
to take one more question and then we're
finished guys
uh the tetr griton no not let to say it
not let to say it not Jew or Gentile a
lot of people write the whole name they
spell it out in different languages
you're not allow to do that it's
forbidden why are we not allowed to to
say the name of hem because it's too
holy it's too holy for a impure mouth
like ours to say it even if that mouth
belongs to a Torah SC they're not allow
to say it only theen was allowed to say
it inside The KES kashim and at
extraordinary times uh extraord AR
circumstances uh certain sages were
allowed to say it but uh it's too holy
for us to be allowed to say
it okay fagie is asking oh good evening
what are your views about having an
Evangelical preacher raise monetary
funds for Israel in a
synagogue I'm hoping this is a joke uh
obviously it's forbidden for him to even
enter the synagogue needless to say to
raise
money either even if he even to raise
money for the synagogue is not
allowed
uh why does a Torah view someone who
doesn't contribute to society
uh the the mishna says gamblers or
people who raise money for Christians uh
for Jewish causes are purul for adud
because they don't contribute to society
what does that mean so the people that
are uh that are gamblers uh typically
the if you look at the commentary over
there it says that the reason why
they're is because these people number
one they are uh typically don't have a
regular job so they don't contribute to
society and therefore they don't have a
real connection to society and what the
what Society needs they're just selfish
people self-centered people uh second
reason why gamblers are P meaning
they're you can't use them as a witness
uh is because since they have an
addiction to money because they're
gamblers that means that you can buy
their uh their their uh their words
could they could turn into a false
witness same thing with people that
raise money for for uh for Christians uh
from Christians for Jewish causes also a
uh problem because these people clearly
are addicted to money and they're going
to unkosher sources uh they're going to
unkosher sources to uh to raise money
rather than go to kosher sources they
have no amuna they don't think that hasm
is going to provide the money in a
Kosher Way so they go to a non- Kosher
Way and in essence they actually put an
obligation on all of the community to
allow those same non- her people to
enter the community because once you
went to a church or some pastor and he
told listen we need a million dollars
for our uh whatever our community uh and
uh he gives you the money that same
Pastor is not going to expect for you to
allow him to enter your synagogue and
even give a speech uh so why because you
are now number one are in debt to him
and two you now have a fear that the
next time you ask him for money uh he's
not going to give you meaning that even
if he says no no there's no you don't
owe me anything back still the next time
you know he ask you listen can I come
speak at yes or can I attend your yum
Services just attend uh you're going to
say of course of course attend why
because you're afraid that if you tell
him no he's uh going to uh he's going to
uh not give it to you the next time you
ask him so going to non- koser sources
is not good even go going to people that
are uh Heretics they don't even have to
be uh Christians even going to a heretic
and asking them for for money is is bad
uh so if a uh um someone that does not
observe donates on his own and uh you
didn't ask him to then some will say
that you're allowed to accept it uh
because he needs a Mitzvah and you're
allowing him you're not allowed to get
in the way of his Mitzvah but to go
after him and ask him to donate that's
not uh that's not a kosher thing to do
that's not a kosher thing to do uh but
as far as is not contributing to society
in Ence what it means is that a person
that is a putting the entire Society at
risk for his own agenda for his own
desires so a person that goes and
collects money from non- koser sources
like I just explained he's putting a
he's putting the entire community at
risk because now that very same non-
kosher sources are going to feel at home
in that Community this is like one time
I saw in a besset there was a certain
obnoxious person that would come to the
sh during the high holidays only and
everybody knew that this guy is driving
to sh on yum driving on Shabbat has non
kosher businesses but he every Aliyah he
bought it then he would just give it to
people he bought everything and I asked
somebody what's the story with this guy
he said no no every year it's like that
and he does this at every shoe he just
goes to every shoe and he buys all the
alot and he gives the money and all the
shoes are afraid of him why I said why
because he has a lot of money I said
yeah but it's like yeah I don't know
so even such a thing like that is not
good even such a thing is not like that
not good so to go and uh obviously that
shol and that all those other places
allow this type of behavior and it put
the entire community in a bad situation
where first and foremost the theah that
other people are supposed to buy is
being bought by some guy
that's it's stealing it's taking a
mitvah from people it's a very very
serious problem but even more so it's
also very discouraging in for other
people that they're uh they're they come
to the sh the whole year but the alot
are being bought by somebody that
doesn't even care about the just cares
about looking good so this is a person
that does not uh contribute to society
meaning that he's a the guy that's
receiving the money and also the guy
that's giving the money uh these are two
people that are pul uh because they care
less about the society or the community
they only care about themselves same
concept with a gambler a gambler is
simply somebody that you can just buy
their opinion uh because they're so
addicted to money uh and and therefore
they uh they're they're not contributing
anything to to society they don't care
about Society they're so addicted to
their own desires uh that uh they will
sell the society itself and that's
actually anyone that read the uh the
article that we highlighted in our shiu
uh or some of the Articles we
highlighted in a from last night in the
video about
uh being a m like Ephraim Goldberg that
called the cops and sent them to my
house that's what a MOS is uh to being a
m you read the history of a m what is a
m in Judaism not just the part of it but
the history of people that were m m o s
e r or m o i s e r depending on where
the that's how it's spelled in English
to be these are people that are rats
these are people that are snitches these
are people that are tattletales that
they go to the authorities and send Jews
send the the the non-jewish authorities
to their houses and so on now those
people typically are the people that are
Heretics gamblers degenerates don't
contribute to society Addicted to Money
addicted to some type of desire that's
usually where it comes from the the
Muslim are usually those very same
people it's one and one and the same
it's one and the same uh so so so those
people cannot be counted in a before
they become M they cannot be counted as
a witness after they become a m they
have no share of the world to come
even so that's that's that's the case
all right last question from my dear
friend Jose is a nonu allowed to bless a
non kosher food before and after eating
using normative blessings given by using
hashem's name uh okay so for a non-jew
to make a blessing uh on a non- kosher
food is not a problem uh because a uh
he's allowed to eat non kosher food uh
and uh it's not a problem for him to uh
to to eat it and therefore it's not a
problem for him to make a blessing but
to make a blessing using the text of the
uh of
the that you have in the that could be a
problem because the text itself says
bless you hasem that commanded us to
such and such God did not command uh the
non-jews to make a blessing they should
make a blessing it's a good thing to
make a blessing it's a good thing for
them to make a blessing but they're not
commanded to do it so technically the
blessing that's in the Jewish Sido would
be a lie for the non-jew and that's why
I always tell non-jews if you want to
bless hem bless hem in your words if you
want to pray to hasem pray to Hashem in
your words don't uh use the uh the
Hebrew sidu the the Jewish sidu that's
for Jews for your uh your your the uh
Gentile World why because again in that
text it's not that there is some type of
racism it's simply that the text itself
the text itself is something that is
only to the Jews because they were the
ones that were commanded to do these
things
uh you know they were the ones that were
commanded to do these o these blessings
they were commanded the the non-jews
should do it it's a great recommendation
but there's no obligation they're not
commanded to do it so to say bless you
hasem that commanded me to eat to to say
a blessing or commanded me to do such
and such it's a lie and unfortunately
it's a a lie is not a good thing to do
whether you're Jew or Gentile uh last
question where am I located I am on
Earth uh
I'm in Florida uh in South Florida and
uh as far as
um uh my stupidity sometimes makes me
laugh sorry guys uh my uh my uh my uh uh
next location as far as the um synagogue
and Yesa and so on hasn't been
determined yet uh we're hoping that who
opens the Gates of Heaven very soon and
allows us to not only have uh the place
that we want to get uh be huge and
glorious and and and be a big K but also
have the funding to do it uh and the
students to do it and all the other good
stuff we still have the campaign going
uh for anyone that wants to contribute
for the uh the Yeshiva the synagogue the
everything that we want to build if you
go to bhiva
.org bh.org or you go to BH isa.com
uh B is in beat H is in Hashem uh
Yeshiva is ye s i v a do uh com.org uh
and then go there and donate and uh you
could help us get to where we need to be
we're hoping that b we will find a uh
place in the coming months uh we don't
know yet where it's going to going to be
whether it's going to be in Cooper City
Florida or it's going to be in Hollywood
or it's going to be I don't Mars I'm not
really sure yet I assume it's going to
be in Florida I assume it's going to be
in South Florida but I can't tell you
for sure that's the reason why many of
you that asked me should you move here I
haven't told anybody that they should
move here yet simply unless they already
moved here on their own because again I
um I I don't know I don't know where
it's going to be I'm hoping that it's
going to be here so I don't have to move
but it's that's you moving not moving is
not going to determine where we're going
to get a place here or not that's going
to be very soon I've been a little bit
busy uh for uh the last few months uh as
you guys have noticed so I haven't been
able to really uh look for anything but
B hopefully now we'll be able to do it
again okay thank you again for learning
with me bless each and every single one
of you for anyone that speaks Hebrew
later on we're going to have a Shue in
uh Hebrew uh that'll be posted but it's
probably going to be late for all of you
guys so we just wait for it to be on our
Hebrew channel uh YouTube
channel amen
amen so for anyone who doesn't know we
have an event coming up here in South
Florida for anyone that wants to come
it's going to be at a uh uh resort
called bonaventura for anyone that wants
to uh attend uh it's free of charge but
