Songs of Our Heritage: Hamalach - G-d’s Angel

These words (Gen. 48:16) are from the blessing of Jacob to the sons of Joseph. This song is a personal highlight. As a child I performed it numerous times at graduations, weddings, and Bar Mitzvahs. It always gave me the feeling that this blessing is being conveyed to the assembled. Composed by legendary contemporary composer Abie Rotenberg. Songs Of Our Heritage is back for another season, so make sure you’re following! Jewish music is the soundtrack to our lives. At every milestone, holiday or mitzva, it enhances and enlivens our experience and service of Hashem. #SongsofOurHeritage
