Experience the Authentic Flavors of Mexico at "Taquito": Lakewood's Hottest New Kosher Restaurant

guys I still owe you a walk through in this new restaurant I've just opened up a few months ago taquito it's like hidden in the back of uh eat a pizza so not too many people know about this place but it's I think it pays a trip to check it out it's located um on Cliff what's the address 116 Clifton Avenue behind the pita with the entrance through the rear parking lot the municipala yes I'll show you this and soon how you can enter this place there's plenty of parking 24 hours a day pistol check out this vibe I never saw a restaurant looking in Lakewood looking it has its Brooklyn vibes has enough seats in the first floor and if you need additional seats there's the second floor enough place you can make a potty over here I am with Moishy my shedencore man core he is the manager of this place and he called me dumb because he wants to show me what he has to offer he has a very special unique menu plenty of appetizers and this is the what type of food do you have so over here we have we have a large selection of authentic Mexican food there's not many places in the U.S let alone in Mexico that have kosher Mexican authentic very few places yes thank you [Music] so over here we have plenty of appetizers but you can't tell us about your so Specialties you have so here we have for example a Nachos which is our pulled short rib chili which is not mostly beans like most shorter of chili and it's on top of fresh nachos with guac and mango salsa all made in-house everything made in house then over here we have our sauces this is ketchup we're gonna everyone knows what ketchup is but here this is a salsa Roja which is a red salsa made in house fresh fresh from the peppers we have a salsa verde which is a green salsa verde means green Chipotle mayo as well made in-house or ranch dressing made in-house and automata sauce it has like 16 ingredients or something we'll ask the chef about that but also made fresh from scratch here we have our lamb tacos in a hard shell version we also have it in the soft shells here we have fries handcuffed fries really good these are the chili lime fries excellent here we have a burrito which is a customizable basically wrap but it's a Mexican wrap so usually there's rice and meat a protein with rice and guac or whatever other things you would like to add to it here we have a traditional short riberia tacos which is a tacos that are fried in the fat of the actual short rib and then fold it over and you get this beautiful tasting dish here we have the braised ribs excellent braised ribs not spicy soft like butter excellent amazing and here we have maybe the star of the show we call the restaurant Taquito this is a taquito which is a chili taquito uh with a fresh onion um pickled onion we have over there like an avocado salsa all of this is made from scratch by far most popular appetizer is the chicharon Pollo which is like grieving together with chicken um it's then battered and fried amazing super tasty juicy and good here we have jicama lime sticks jicama's root vegetables kind of similar to Kohlrabi with our chill with tahin which is a chili lime on top and lime here we have a burrito bowl as well which is customizable it has a base of either lettuce rice and then you put whatever vegetables protein super healthy option here we have our potato chorizo taquitos which comes with a fried egg on top if Chipotle mayo with the bean paste and here we have the chipotle chicken Taquitos which is a taquito again with our the avocado jalapeno Mayo like Mayo type of sauce and the radishes really good beautiful item here we have soft shell chipotle chicken Taquitos really maybe the best chicken you've ever had nice pulled fresh chicken here we have the carne asada tacos and which is a kindness out of skirt steak with a mango salsa really really good and here we have what we call the wings that are Bowl Super spicy wings five alarm we have some other things on the menu as well so up with some other Wings we have obviously other burritos you can make other burrito bowls we have a sandwich as well as desserts which and there's more things coming soon thank you most UK tickets in the kitchen it's a little bit of behind the scenes house all the delicious foods are being made so here we're gonna go on to the kitchen and we're gonna meet the chef so here we have the chef he's a little bit busy right now what's your name Ellie the anchor and he's actually doing a sandwich right now so it's customer everything is specially made in-house as you see all different parts over here he's preparing the dessert one of the desserts the sugaring up the churros and now we're gonna plate it and that fresh churros comes with the ice cream excellent amazing this we're here to put the ice cream to wear the caramel [Music] so when I usually open from when to when so we're usually open from right now from 6 to 12 Thursdays till 1 o'clock there's a session coming soon we will be opening up extended for lunch hours for takeout and for delivery and we will be as adding as well hopefully after shrew's outdoor seating beautiful outdoor seating and uh come on in and enjoy as you see over
