Okay, so I went to the Israeli day
parade yesterday to shoot some content
and it reminded me, it was very
nostalgic. There's one type of person
you see at the plate every year that I
love. There's a few people you see the
parade every year. There's like
categories of people. There's the people
that like you're not friends with and
you see every day but you don't care
about at all until you see them at the
parade and you're like, "You're here.
I'm here." Well, like what? That's
crazy. And like you see them every day
at show, but like you don't care about
them. Then there's like the the half
dirt kids that like they all got the
same t-shirt that we all got on the bus
like at the beginning. But somehow by
the time they get to the braid, it's cut
with scissors and like so many like the
boys like sleeves are cut off. The girls
like the neck lines and it's like it's
like a different shirt. Like it's all
scissored up. It's like cut in ways that
don't even make sense to cut it. Like
why would you think to just cut like a
random triangle like in the middle of
like your stomach? Obviously like the
deer bay and the whole hawk. Like who's
wearing the the t-shirts over the long
sleeve white shirts who just wearing a
t-shirt that's like a big identity
politics situation. Like it's if you're
wearing it over a white shirt it means
you don't actually want to be at the
parade but you just don't want to lose
your job. Whereas if you're wearing the
t-shirt ala then it means you're there.
If you know you know my favorite parade
person my favorite parade stereotype the
parade is the ultimate equalizer. It's
lato in English. That means the losers
are on top and the winners are on the
bottom. float people in real life are on
the sides watching the blade and the
people that are in the sidelines in life
are on the floats. Floats is all just
like mid-level employees at like UJA and
Federation and and One Fund Israel,
whatever. These guys all make like
$150,000 a year, but they're like on
floats of the parade and then all like
the hedge fund managers and real estate
owners that like do with them are like
watching them from the sidelines and all
their kids are looking at them like,
"Dad, like why? like, "Why can't you get
on a float? Like, this is crazy." And
they're like, "I can't get on a float
cuz like I pay all his kids tuition for
it. Like, I subsidize his whole life.
This is crazy that like my kids are
complaining to me like that. I'm the I'm
the in the situation. The parade is like
the MS. It's a old muffer.
