Cain kills Abel. We all know the two brothers, Adam and Hava's children. Why is that? Because they both gave a carbon a sacrifice and offering to God Almighty and God accepted Abel because it was a greater crop. And Cain just gave whatever he had. He didn't do it a as we say from the bottom of his heart. Didn't do the best of the best. And the Torah testifies that God tells Cain, his sin is too great to bear. >> [music] >> It was a big sin that he did. He killed another individual. He killed his brother. The only other time we find this terminology of your sin is too great to bear is in the Shulchan Aruch, in the code of Jewish law. >> [music] >> What does it say? That one who speaks in the synagogue, who speaks in the shul, his sin is too great to bear. What I don't understand is how could you compare Cain killing Abel and a guy [music] speaking in the synagogue? How could How could you put the the two together? And the rabbis tell us something really powerful. >> [music] >> And that is 100% is one in the same. Why? Cuz in the synagogue, it's a bet Elohim, it's a house of God. It's a mikdash me'at, it's a miniature bet hamikdash, holy temple. Over here in the synagogue is where we have our prayers answered. People are praying for shidduchim, finding their loved ones, finding their other half. People are praying for children. People are praying for a refuah shleimah to be healed and not God forbid to get sick and God forbid to die. So in essence, one [music] that talks in the synagogue is ruining those prayers and people aren't getting answered and in essence it could be killing another individual. Wow. Reminds me and I'll end with a quick story of a Victor Miller that individual came to him with an illness and the rabbi told him that the synagogue you're praying do they speak while the prayers are going on? And the individual admitted unfortunately yes. So the rabbi told him to either have them stop speaking or go to another synagogue and that's what he did. When he went to a checkup for the illness, something shocking happened and that is [music] that the doctors couldn't see anything. There was no illness. It was not there anymore. This is coming to teach us a very powerful lesson and that is through our to through our prayers unbelievable things happen up there in Shamayim in heaven. So we have to make sure [music] that we keep this mouth like we discussed many times in the past to keep it kosher to keep it clean. Not only what comes in but what comes out [music] as well. We should be married that all of our prayers should be answered and for goodness and for blessings.
