SUPERBOWL! A Spiritual Take on Sports

the big game is upon us Super Bowl Sunday is once again here and here it drops of light we're trying to figure out what is it about the big game what is it about sports in general that touches our soul in such a deep way Sports ultimately is about Transcendence in Great Moments When everyone is standing on their feet as the clock is winding down and the quarterback has to make that big throw to win the game the wide receiver has to jump and reach up above the hands of the Defender to take down that pass to score the winning touchdown feet inbounds the entire Stadium Rises to its feet because the soul loves Transcendence we love when two people are competing and something rises above the other for victory why is this this is because the nature of our soul is in a battle we have two Souls a Godly soul and an animal soul and we live in a state of competition who will win will we be defined by our animal anal soul will we be defined by our Godly Soul what will we make of Our Lives will we be animalistic in our desires or will we make the world into a Godly place we are in a game so to speak and in Transcendent moments we touch the deepest part of ourselves the deepest part of ourselves yearns to win that battle the deepest part of ourselves yearns to reach out above the animal Soul Above This physical material world and to invest spirituality to invest godliness in our lives sports are counterfeit moment for what our soul truly desires and so yes we may watch the big game but what our soul craves is the actual authentic Transcendence that only exists within when we make great choices when we make Godly choices when we reach up beyond our physical selves and choose to live a Godly life then we have truly won the biggest game of [Music] all
