Dr. Rich Roberts on Chol Hamoed Pesach Carnival 2024

I want to thank the Lakewood Scoop for enabling us to give you this video on the upcoming pesak Hood Carnival uh the BL EAD event run by Rabbi shy leer is paid for sponsored by colon Inc um two things that we need from you and then I'll tell you quickly about the carnival itself one is for if you have children who don't know the telephone numbers don't know their addresses please before you come to the carnival put a piece of tape on their back on their coat or whatever with the with your name and the your telephone number on it your cell phone number in case the uh they end up in the lost the Lost children's section uh the second thing is for the first time in the last Carnival where we had 20,000 children and 25,000 people in total we also had a couple of people who are collecting um and this is a private event please there should be no collecting going on I want everyone to be able to be able to enjoy this for free not have to bring any money so I'm asking you please uh do not give money to collectors I don't want that to start to become a thing where I really want everyone just to come and enjoy the carnival and uh that's the effort that we're we're putting in uh the um schedule has that we have the p uh puppy Pal's dog show I'm reading off the brochure uh eyes of the wild a bunch of wild animals they'll be showing you nice variety Rabbi wielgus who's a storyteller the fmx motorbike show where they'll be riding motorcycles off ramps flying through the air which is really great show hopefully the weather is good for it a unicycle show and of course we'll have tons of cotton candy that's kosher La peso the nsh will be a chocolate bar for for I think we're getting 13 or 15,000 this time we've upped it from 10,000 previously and a fun uh fun prize a fun toy the carnival is on Thursday that's the only full day of hamoed uh for pesak this year so we really didn't have much choice but to to do it at that time um lastly I just want to give some thank yous um the lakid police department is there as well as many times the uh Ocean County Sheriff Department giving security which we appreciate uh Kum is there they do a fantastic job with traffic and their flow of people Department of Public Works with um facilities the fire department blue claws for letting us use their parking lot and liquid Hut is there just in case hopefully we don't need them but they're there as just in case and there also will be a bunch of um trucks and and you know special emergency trucks police trucks and vehicles that type of thing for uh kids to play on and play with so hopefully it be a great time um the babysitters do a fantastic job I want to thank them the job they do with the kids also all the boys that work at the carnival just unbelievable job that they do last thing I would to ask is uh with our iway please please don't block the Ia if you need the Ia CU you can't get a seat then just go to another show you just were not in time for that one and I'm sorry but please just move on um what else do they want uh I've give these notes uh please do not bring strollers into the tents the stroller should be parked outside and that's about it uh so have a great yth and mitem we will be seeing you on Thursday call moow bye-bye
