okay so we're going to first talk about
um the updates on the status of the
zoning changes parking signs and bicy
ordinance
um uh did anybody uh offic of work did
anybody contact you
about about um about the parking changes
about putting on parking signs I did
notice there was some additional signs
downtown I did have a conversation with
Chief Lawson and I believe a lot of that
stuff is in part uh the the signs I
noticed was no parking
here right okay
no parking hair uh fine by you know yeah
okay so we we gave in we gave in three
ordinances which was the zoning changes
uh for the downtown and the uh the
parking sign changes and the parking
changes and we gave the other ordinance
which was the bicyc ordinance to make
sure that uh nobody parks bikes on lamp
poost and poles and it seems that all
three of those ordinances were just
ignored by the township committee um so
I'm just going to make official
statement to send into the township
committee if everyone agrees asking them
to please uh look over the ordinances
and make a statement about it if they
have any
problems it seems that our it seems that
our Township committee would rather see
the entire downtown burn down I think
they were forwarded to the zoning board
they haven't taken I spoke to one I
spoke to T last night I asked him how
come um when somebody wants to do
something that's against Church in state
in Town Square it's okay but when
somebody wants to make a farmer's market
in the Town Square that's not okay and
he said well maybe there are some people
who have a problem with it so and I
guess he was referring he wasn't
referring to the produce guy next door
because I spoke to him before I even
even approached the subject so he must
have been talking about someone who owns
a market somewhere else um having a
problem with having a farmers market in
Town Square which is a known thing to
bring people into a town so obviously
our Township committee cares more about
whoever it is that the person that
called him up than they do about the
entire entire
and um it also seems that for political
reasons they are yeah yeah I understand
what's going on it seems that for
political reasons they're not listening
to anything that we're doing because
probably because the person who's
heading this this commission right now
so I just want to make a public
statement saying that uh asking that
they not asking that they not that they
not take political revenge on this
downtown committee and and destroy the
entire effort that we Tred
just because they want to take some some
little uh they want they want they want
to take some Revenge uh on on on the
other side we have become a political
action committee not a not an Advisory
Board to the township if we keep this
more um more what to do we gave them
ideas of what to do we gave them three
solid ideas of what to do and they just
ignored them totally and I just feel
that you know that they just care more
about saying power doing whatever they
they want to do then they actually care
about about the downtown or the town um
at all so that's the updates um so it
seems like they're just ignoring
everything um for now so I don't know
what to do about it if someone can give
me some advice um as to what we can do
to get them to actually do something um
I would appreciate it you can talk to me
after the meeting I guess
