you see it everywhere and the question is why would anybody want to be a celebrity why would anybody want to be the next billionaire why would anybody look up to all of those people well let's see they look up to all of those people they look up to the rapper the the the big uh the big hit why do they look up because they see he's got a house there's a show on TV that shows how nice his house is and how big it is and how many rooms he has and the chandeliers and the many cars and and all the people that work for him and how many followers he has on the internet and they see her and the new clothing line that shouldn't even be considered clothes needless to say they they call the clothing line and how many popular fans how many people follow her and how popular she is and how she has all the new clothes and how the headlines say she makes all this money and they see another person and they see they got a job and they have a CEO and they founded a company and they build it to become a multi-billionaire and they're on a Forbes 500 and they so on and so forth so the Satan first and foremost uses one of A's tools that works best what does he do he plants a seed he plants seed says it says plants the seed of the why does it me plants the seed of the this is in your what do he PL youa he doesn't pay you a reward for the that you give right away but rather he plants it why he'll give you the reward when you need it rather than when you want it when you've messed up enough times but now you finally did chu but how do you get back on your feet after you've messed up so many times a wife that was loyal to him committed adultery on a wife that supported him committed adultery on a wife that was waiting for him and loved him cheated on her with countless different people not only that became a complete addict to drugs and alcohol complete degenerate loser in society yelling at people insulting people and just being literally the best possible way to show the image that you admire is an illusion that image that's in the picture on a lot of different sports gear of this person it's an illusion why it's not him that's not him that's just him when he's not him him that's that watched some of his movies admired his acting a movies like I think it's Unusual Suspect which I have been myself have taken one of the quotes that he said as as one of the things that I always minutes 40 million doll all of that money in the garbage declared bankruptcy a uh a person by name of 50 Cent very popular rapper uh that was very violent both in his words and in his life very arrogant that was his whole show I myself used to listen to his uh to his music and found it entertaining but the reality he is when you look at his life from a Torah perspective from a moral perspective you see how immoral this person is how vicious he is how disgusting he is to the extent where this person not only ended up amassing a great Fortune but also not uh losing a great Fortune but also despite having it or not having it he's still a deadbeat that he always was not paying child support for the kids that he had to with the many countless women that he was with because of his his immoral Behavior because to him to be immoral that should be admired to be with many women that is something that is uh uh to be aspired to be that's what a lot of guys want to do they want to be with many women they want to be like a 50 Cent or a celebrity that can get any girl that he wants but the truth is do you want your daughter to be one of those girls do you want your daughter to just be that tool that he uses do you want your daughter to be one of those girls so how come you feel okay for being one of those guys because you know that punishes measure for measure and if you're going to be one of those guys is going to give you one of those girls he's going to make one of those girls your daughter one day you see this person that was a dead beat like many of the others that money way weather all had to come out of retirement and go box a YouTuber a guy that never boxed a day in his life he had to go box him just so he could live his life because he literally lost his money to the point where he had to uh come out of retirement to pay his debt after making literally tens and tens of millions of dollars per fight per fight all of the money apparently went down the drain just like uh anything else that's uh going to be the rest of his life and what happened now he's fighting YouTubers complete embarrassment to the to to to to the sport but nonetheless a very good money maker very good money maker but really this is what people admire this is what people look up to to go make four $500 million just to uh you know continue working for the rest of your life because you pretty much spent it faster than you made it that's what you want that's what you admire to be a person that does not have a normal life doesn't have a normal wife doesn't have normal kids doesn't have normal relationships is constantly under uh you know a fear that someone is stealing from him that someone is taking advantage of him and literally living a purposeless life because now that the career is practically over the best that he can do is fight YouTubers the best that he can do is is is is is just continue to utilize his body until the body stops working but the reality is that this is all coming to an end it's come to an end but he's trying to you know try to get the uh the last drops of water out too so this is what people admire a person that made hundreds of millions of dollars does not even have the money to pay $20 million in debt now you have a uh a person like Mark Twain a scholar that people admired his publisher his his own Publishing Company declared bankruptcy all of his notoriety all of his Fame it's only by a few people that call themselves scholars in this generation he himself did not enjoy during his life because he ended up declaring bankruptcy uh Dennis Rodman another famed basketball player got this such an extent after making so many millions of dollars you would think this person would have enough money not only to live the rest of his life but to build a country instead he not only wasted all of his money on drugs and all types of disgusting Behavior but he got to a point of being such a despicable human being that he got caught stealing $500 a person that literally used to make $500 a second $500 not $500 an hour $500 a second and ended up getting caught stealing $500 these are the people that that people uh uh uh uh admire and you think it's just the most recent people no this has always been the case it's always been the case you have a celebrities like Wayne Newton uh meatloaf Willie Nelson all of these famed celebrities Gary uh Gary uh Coleman a famed actor all of these people that literally made hundreds of millions of dollars their homes are known their names are known in practically every home of the people that lived during their High Time everybody knows who they are the reality is they wish they didn't they themselves wish nobody knew who they were they themselves wish that they could just go to the deli buy their little sandwich and go back to their little Shack hole in the wall somewhere in society and no one would remind them of their Glory Days that they could never ever get back to because these are people people that are husbands and one of the most horrendous sufferings that a person can have is to be a husband to be a person that is everybody reminding him of his past the rest of his life even though he's not an inkling like it he's nothing like it now a lot of people like to admire some of the very wealthy people on Wall Street I was among some of these uh people I met some of these people meaning that I saw some of these people in lectures talked to them at times and so on and people like to admire some of these people some of the most famous you look at Warren Buffett is a he's been a practically the Wall Street grandfather for probably the last 50 60 years it seems like he's been a 100 years old for 50 years already making billions of dollars extremely successful and you would see oh this person seems like a nice guy he seems moral but if you actually look at his actual real life there's nothing to admire with all of the money that he has with the hundreds of billions that he has he still lives in the same house that he bought 50 years ago like he's not even enjoying the money like a normal human being he still eats a hamburger and Coca-Cola for $2 from McDonald's every single day he's not even having the food of the Rich and Famous he's not even enjoying the physicality of the world it's simply a sport of making money and you would think oh maybe his at least his kids are going to benefit from that money no he already declared that those very same kids that he has and barely has a relationship with them barely has the relationship that he has with some of his some of his employees is much more developed and much more secure than the relationship that he has with his children because they know him pretty much like everybody else knows him on TV the illusion and his kids know that they're not going to get anything of of substance after he dies because the majority of his money is going to continue all of these Endeavors that uh that uh uh fuel Corporate America and so on meaning that even the kids that thought oh maybe you know what at least he's going to give me a uh the chunk of it he worked for1 billion do give the kids a billion each five billion each 10 billion each to do different things no that's not going to happen now oh you would think oh this Grandpa type of person he probably has a good marriage absolutely not his wife couldn't deal with him and left him simply couldn't deal with the person couldn't deal with his personality and just ended up leaving him this is actually what happens to almost all of these people if at one point or another one of the other people is a uh the guy for Bezos Jeff Bezos built Amazon one of my favorite companies you know that I use their product fantastic products that they have but as a human being he's is practically a disaster a disaster of a human being is divorced after so many years from the woman that helped him in order to go chase young girls in order to feel like he's uh he's young again and try to look like he's 20 years old again this is a person that made practically every employee every person that came into a meeting with him cry in the meeting on a regular basis it is well known that the meetings that they would have with them the conversations they would have with them would lead lead people to anxiety attacks and literally being traumatized by simply talking to their boss this is what you admir you want to be one of those people that tortures people and causes them literally anxiety just by them being employed by you this is what you want to be or perhaps you have people like a not just B Bezos you have like Steve Jobs Steve Jobs amassing notoriety and billions and billions of dollars only to live just long enough to uh see some of his some of these products come out but die because all of the money that he made from those products was not enough to buy him a single liver to save him save him his life a single liver to save his life simply he could not live another day and died the same atheist that he was his whole life with a lot of regrets as the verse says the wicked live a whole life full of regrets and he himself said he regretted that he lived as an atheist he should have looked into it further but he was too busy chasing the physicality this is what people admire this is what people want to be like and the reality is when a person knows that all of those people that they admire are literally a disaster of a human being you start thinking to yourself why do I admire these people and there's no exceptions it's any celebrity that you look at any athlete that you look at if it hasn't happened to them already it's going to happen to them but generally speaking their whole life is full of it from their whole life is full of immorality divorce adultery every single type of crime that they can commit and think that they were not going to get caught they do because that in essence is the thought of the the people that want that type of power is a life of complete freedom freedom to the extent where they commit crimes against humanity without any recourse but sees everything pays Mak sure that everybody has to pay the bill and all of those that desecrate hashem's name in private he will expose them in public at some point as the mishna says now on the other hand you say amount of people in the world uh and that's not the reason why we're the chosen so it shows us that the uh the analogy that Hashem tells uh uses uh with the prophecy that he tells aam uh is not referring to a a quantity as far as number but something else what is that something else teach us that is telling abam your descendants your descendants are going to have special spiritual tools a right way uh and you don't have a strong willpower and strategy of how to do it so the job should be morally right it should be legal uh and uh also it should give you freedom to serve hem and regards to uh the uh not eating pig and shrimp there's a verse in the tah in The Book of Leviticus uh it says that we're not allowed to eat pig or uh all of these uh uh uh you know shrimps and lups and so on and several other types of animals by simply telling us two things when it comes to pigs it's one of the animals that AEM specifies that were're not allowed to eat one of the four animals that were not allowed to eat because it has only one sign uh you have to have two signs in order to be a kosher animal so the rest of the animals animals in the world uh have either if they're kosher they have two signs or they have no signs the pig is one of four animals that has one one sign there's only four animals in the world that have one of the two signs so hasem specifies uh the uh the pig as one of those four animals that you're not allowed to eat it uh shrimp is uh when it comes to fish fish have to have two signs fins and scales and uh surely shrimp is no different than cockroaches and uh you know and and other types of uh uh animals that uh you know are uh simply cleaning the world but they're not really supposed to be for consumption by people nonetheless they don't have the two signs that are required for a fish to be uh to be kosher a fish to be kosher has to have fins and scales so that's where Hashem says it it's in the Book of Leviticus is one of the places uh as far as to know when your chuba was accepted if a person continues to do what it says in the toah continues to do what uh Hashem is telling them to do then they know that Hashem is accepting them accepting their ch because they're going in the right direction uh as far as uh uh as long as they continue to grow every single day there's never a time where a person should think I'm done doing chuva uh for your health but the reason why there's leniency on smoking is because no single cigarette will ever kill anybody that's why uh there is leniency when it comes to smoking it doesn't mean you should start smoking but if you're already addicted to it it's not like you're violating Shabbat or anything uh but if somebody wants you know to to know the truth the full truth they could watch a few lectures that I made about smoking and one of the things that helped me uh quit smoking cigarettes after 20 years of smoking was simply when I realized and and learned from my that it's not the will of hem that I'm going to smoke a cigarette and how did I learn that it's not the will of hem that I smoke a cigarette my R told me it's not but even more so I saw it with my own eyes where when I first started doing shim I was still smoking cigarettes and uh but generally speaking you know would the guys would come to my house sometimes a few girls would come to watch the lecture and then they would leave uh but there was one time that uh after the lecture was finished uh I uh you know they would usually hang out outside of my house for a little bit and I went outside with them and uh I you wow I didn't know you smoke and I literally like saw all of the respect that he had had for me like just dissipate not that I'm necessarily looking for respect I mean you do have to have some respect from your students in order for them to to learn anything from you and take anything you say seriously but it's not necessarily that I was looking for it it's just that I saw hasem obviously gave me the ability to see how it made an impression on that person so from that moment on I I I made a decision that I'm not going to smoke in front of people but I was still a smoker and I it was actually helping me or at least psychologically and I think even physically helping me learn a lot of Torah I used to uh you know learn for hours and hours at a time uh you know where standard sessions of 6 to 14 hours uh in a row without uh playing on a computer or phone or anything you know six hours was short 14 hours was uh the ideal of of learning to nonstop in the middle of the night middle of the day literally it was a lot of lot of and um and one of the things that would keep me up and awake and alert at 3:00 in the morning is that I would study outside in front of my door and smoke like a CH chimney constantly smoking and reading the or or mid or something constantly constantly smoking one after another never stopping for 14 hours straight or 6 hours straight or whatever that session was uh non-stop smoking and it would help me stay up till whenever I want it pretty much you know I was tired but I smoke another cigarette and another cigarette and another cigarette it was literally like a like a a bucket of cigarettes next to me but I would feel spiritually elevated and not really think twice about the cigarettes and anyone that ever was looking for me they knew where I was I was in front of my house learning tah and uh smoking cigarettes that's where I was at all times you're not going to find me in a park you're not going to find me at a wedding you're not going to find me at uh some party you're not going to find me at some office you're going to find me in front of my house smoking and if I'm not in front of my house smoking cigarettes then I'm you know in the back of my house or in my house learning toah but nonetheless that's pretty much where I was for years like this and uh and and I was smoking cigarettes but again after I started becoming more and more popular and more people started learning my tah and so on I smoked in front of somebody and I saw what impression I gave him and all of the words that my R told me that it's not the will of hasem came to like it's like you know the light went on even though he already told me the light went on and I realized I have to stop now how do you stop smoking after you were smoking so much already and I've been smoking for 20 years so uh one of my uh other students uh uh I saw him one time smoke uh the uh like U The Vape thingies I told him what is this thing and he told me what it was and uh he said this this help me quit smoking cigarettes I said get me one I want to get one I'll give you money get me one you know a couple days later he gave me got got me one of the week later he came with the sh and he gave me this uh this uh vape and uh within 3 days I never smoked cigarettes ever again after that so again is The Vape uh uh you know something that I recommend for 13-year-old kids or 20-year-old men to start no but is is it better than smoking cigarettes sure and it helped me quit smoking cigarettes which I believe is a lot more harmful uh now of course some scientist among you guys is going to tell me no but it's this but that okay fine don't so don't go smoke cigarettes or don't smoke at all the point is for me that was one way that I stopped uh and uh and uh by going to downgrading or moving from smoking cigarettes uh to uh to vaping and uh that's what I would recommend for you to do unless you have the willpower and a desire to stop smoking cold turkey which is obviously ideal it's best to quit smoking outright not Vape not chewing gum not nothing but it's hard it's hard for people that are already addicted to it and not even necessarily just to chical addiction but also psychological addiction of having something in your mouth constantly but if you can you should if you can you should uh if a woman converts and she already had a son before conversion who was over 13 years old then she finds papers that she's actually Jewish born should ponen be done since the son was Jewish when they were born but she converted it's a very interesting
