Detective Joe Isnardi Walkout Day Part 2

coming out of the academy brand new uniforms either to do the jobs and maintain that same eagerness to do the job every day for 25 and a half years and I certainly appreciate him and I certainly should Solutions before we go into the awards I would like to invite anybody in the audience who would like to come up and say a few words to uh to us about Joe to Joe so if you would like to do so please come up now and do it don't be shy Zach I'm really disappointed about you know these blog story Canada Joseph Missouri thank you Anthony we're now downstairs already went on in his career he's selling a report he's working on anything with the science fair enough to achieve that business but fair understanding the complexity time and time again those guidance crimes investigation and completions the rest of them perpetrator was ultimately fulfilled just recently went over most of our cases packing them away and realize how many they were over the years I think what we really have to reflect upon is that these values aren't just learned that the language Police Department you always know spiritually dedicated Family Man dedicated husband dedicates his mom Henry's father um his grandfather if you all didn't know was an old woman in New York City many many years ago just recently proudly showed me his grandfather's election certification you're always always going to invited we're very proud of that as he was his family as a friend and those values are strong between were carried off to this Police Department to every day will carry on like us all times so that the steal from John F Kennedy don't ask what people take away from police performance thank you anybody else might come up and uh talk about Joe I'm looking forward to coming being my neighbor about 15 years now well you've all worked because let me change it are you scared of lizards I've seen me Chase back to the boat on the lizards over the years have watched his back all this up that challenge because we know he needs adult supervision thank you what else I'm sure almost everybody in here if they came up to the microphone it expressed the same sentence that already been talked about by myself by Steve by Zach pretty much to know Joe just to care about him and love him because that's what he has shown every day on the show okay now further Ado we're going to go to the uh the presentations I would like to call deputy chief Katherine he was one of the original members likes us something recognition for decade years of service department John I probably um but I can tell you that he's going to be shorter this year I get a little nervous sometimes and I'm very emotional so I'm going to start crying at least again on March 19 1984 Lakeville Police Department hired 14 police officers they called us in we went back to a training room and they didn't tell us we were hired to about a half hour later said you're the 14 guys we're good you're hired we're also happy some of us who were some of us we didn't went to the academy we graduated you know what Patrol you got to go downtown that was a big thing a big foot patrol Detail no and um about five years ago I got promoted to Sergeant for the same day we're getting this already got promoted to uh lieutenant I thought I was going to leave the detective room because I was a detective that time they kept me there and I became Joe's uh supervisor in the street Crime TV every time I needed help and I got stuck with something Joe always gave me a different way to look at it is my mentor then a few years ago I became his executive officer for the detective Bill nation and when I we got stuck on cases we all went to jail and Joe said hey will you look at it this way and one of the smartest guys I've ever met and I I appreciate we're going to miss him a lot because every time I got stuck I always went to jail I grew up with three sisters and the only thing I can say is if I had a brother question everybody recognition appreciation of your time dedication and service to the Lakewood Police Department detective Earl sci-fi of all of us thank you very much Joe yesterday I'd like to thank you all for being here today 25 years well guess what it's here and I can't believe that I'm getting ready to give my professional goodbye to someone who in addition to being a co-worker is also a very good friend Joe and I work together many times over the years first we're in horse control together and complicated a lot of beer into a destroyed properties from split and then we also will served approximately nine years together on the Lakewood that police special responsible he's probably one of the main reasons that I joined Special Response Team and I'm glad that he pushed me in that direction are involvement inspections costing for this the opportunity to attend lectures done in order to training schools had busy schedules maybe we've been in the occasional here 's tenure is the head the detective viewer I saw another side of jail as she said I saw someone who was very intense to stick with the detail did not did not teach mistakes well but people know that they had made mistake I don't think they can make it again that that all came out to someone who took great pride in his job and as she said he continued that right up to the very last day I came to appreciate not only his knowledge but especially availability anytime I had a question whether it's regarding laws policies or procedures I know Joe was only full away and step away from his responsibilities as law enforcement officer and begin his new career of doing whatever he wants to do as long as Community improves I'd like to give Joe first is uh Silverlight card from New Jersey state BBA with great pride and sure you'll carry
