Deputy Mayor Steven Langert on Parks and Recreation

hi my name is Steven langert and I'd like to talk to you today about quality of life issues specifically as it relates to Parks and Recreation one of the things that I'm proud to have accomplished during my first term is the building of this bridge here that we are standing on when I was first elected the residents of this neighborhood approached me and talked to me about the dangerous time they were having walking around this Bend especially at night we brought down the township engineer they assessed the situation and they offered different solutions the one we felt that was right for the time and for the place is the building of this bridge I'm happy for the feedback that I get is very very positive that the township was able to take these this action for the residents of Lakewood when we mentioned Parks we should keep in mind that Lakewood is blessed to have many wonderful Parks whether it being be Pine Park whether it be frank bov Sports Complex Larry deso Park whether it be the two County parks that we have Ocean County Park in Lake Shan andoa or other small parket parks and recreational trails that we have including this one that we're standing on here in Lakewood it is my hope that if I am privileged enough to be reelected to work during the next upcoming 3 years to upgrade maintain and improve the quality of our parks and our recreational facilities here in Lakewood I'd like to thank the Lakewood Scoop for the opportunity to express my views and with your support I will be reelected on November 8th this is Steven Langer and I am asking for your vote and for the vote for the whole Republicans late on November 8th thank you
