hi mr conblo how are you hi i'm sorry to interrupt you while i guess you're shopping for your family about um my question is about a few answers i would like to get from you about the recent uh you know turmoil and controversy over of course very sad that the two police officers were shot in you know cold blood let me hear your uh well i i think it's a it's a tragedy for americans and you know we we have seen prosecution it's not the first time that we've seen prosecution in the holocaust and then in israel all these terror attacks not to mention 911 so we feel what the police officers feel of course they are on the street in all these crime areas so of course they are out there protecting us and sacrificing for us so i think it's a it's a tragedy that uh we should all sympathize with and um we should pay our respect to the police officers out there who who are out there us day in day out well i definitely agree as you can see today there was a large uh um attendance by uh community leaders in borough park and just um regular you know jewish hasidic residents from borah park there was a large attendance i understand may i ask you what's your um what's your definition what would you say to whatever is going on about this the split between the mayor's office and the nypd about the uh controversial statements that mayor de blasio made i think it was a bad choice of words because if you look at the crime rates most of the of the shootings and stabbings happen in these areas the neighborhoods of minorities so i think the mayor shouldn't have said that his son will be targeted by police rather say watch out when you go on the street and the police is there to protect you even though you go in bad neighborhoods so i think that should have been a statement that the mayor should have given to his son but regardless of what he said he said and now it is his time to seek the fine line in in mending that with and reaching out to those who feel they were compromised by his statements do you find that an apology would mend the it's not about apology i mean you know we learn that you never apologize okay so apologize is if you apologize you show you're weak uh this has nothing to do with a world it's not a war of words it's not what the man said and what the mayor didn't say it is how he implements policy and if he goes and supports the police department if he strengthens the police department's act by enforcing policies that would protect new yorkers who needs an apology and as we see in most twitter accounts and on the whatsapp groups it was very interesting today at the funeral of off of the officer that was held on 65th street certain prisons did turn their backs on uh when mayor de blasio spoke certain pieces did not where did that cut the line i think those who didn't turn their backs were from new jersey they are afraid of their governors so most probably um they know even though they disagree with the governor you don't turn your back on the governor otherwise we know what the consequences will be new yorkers have hurts but and like when your rabbi used to slap you you used to turn your back and not look at him for the next few days new yorkers feel that if somebody did something wrong will go full force uh and uh do whatever we want to do even though the police commissioner uh said that they shouldn't do it show disrespect and of course during a funeral of a police officer but i think once the mayor is going to give them you know their salami a raise a contract they'll be best buddies thank you so much but then just in general it was very nice to see how the community came out and everybody showed up to show their respect it's always nice that the community comes together and they go out you know not sit at your home sit there your computer play with your whatsapp it's good to come out support the police and especially a community like borrowpack which everybody supports the police department because we know what would have been on the streets if there would not be a police department no question about that so we should really have to pray that all the police officers that are out there 24 7 protecting us they should always return safe to their families into their homes thank you very much mr completely you can continue your shopping i'm just going to see what your shop i'm i'm sure you know next week we need garlic because we have with the asteroids we put in um garlic in the asteroid and is it the reason why you shop from the outside because it's uh more affordable less expensive have a good evening
