have to feel the pain of thousands of sperm this is one single home garbage finished I myself was dropping them out everything you can imagine used for 50 years here Shion of [Music] the bunch of will help things will get better hopefully some funds will come in some of these families will be able to rebuild we'll be able to get everybody going back to schools again in the end of time it says that we're going to be believe me the last two weeks the amount of that was that's been accumulated that we're bringing up that we're throwing up to the that we're showing them how we love each other and all them snag them them L people everybody's coming out everybody's helping everybody everybody's moving their old kids into other rooms to make rooms for for kids from here and from the other neighborhoods that are hurt it's unfortunately there's a lot of pain and we have to get over the pain so that we can make tapes about it we could write songs about it we can think back to this as a blip in history and we can move forward I'm not angry at anyone I can't be angry at the iish day it is what it is I mean I appreciate obviously everything that everyone's coming and doing doing here to be my studio my recording studio uh I just want to show you a couple interesting things there's a see this is equipment the recording equipment if you notice there's a line right there by the uh by the monitor which goes all the way across interesting that all the pictures of the rivers that's where the water stopped it came to the river and stop there um try to try to get all this equipment here this is the uh of that you have a keyboard right here used to be keyboard This FL we have the picture of the B's C went all the way through there that's where it stopped in the back I see a picture of the r r that's where the water stopped see the black line that's the water line that's until there that's it everything else down here and in everyone's house in Seagate was submerged in water the entire Seagate was probably I'd say four or 5 ft of water running throughout the streets from the ocean until the bay everything everything everyone that lives in Seagate got hit badly and as you know I don't know if you know or not but no insurance for anything below sea level below below the street level so there are losses here of millions of dollars between the residents of Seagate and the the from Community we have 250 residents here from residents everybody everybody got hit very very badly so people think basement got flooded basement got flooded basement's flooded is destruction everything has to be ripped out the walls the ceilings the floors everything is gone if you I don't know if you can get this the floor here but this used to be a nice parket floor especially for Studio gone everything is gone besides the stock room that I have in the back of thousands of CDs but we're fine we're alive but just for people to know that this is not uh it's not just a little bit of water in the basement completely trash completely R everything is trashed I need two containers full big containers just to get the junk out of the basement wow you [Music] well this used to be Beach 45th Street this is not the end of the block though you know the block was all the way down there and if you have a look around what's going on here it's total chaos and destruction this house that you're looking at there's a red sign under there the building was condemned this is Dr coh's House you cannot enter the building because it's dangerous we'll go to the other side and have a look at it on the other side of the street this house is gone that house is completely the Corner House is Mr Zimmerman's house completely gone the house next to it doesn't look in good shape either let's go down to the beach and have a look [Music] as you can see here this used to be the street all way out down to there but now there's nothing left but this is the back of Dr Cohen's house the St [Music] that room there was part of their living room and it's gone the whole backyard everything is gone across the house across street Dr Mr zimman's house as you can see there's a big chunk of house missing they had a big Garden in front of them with fruit trees this house has to be knocked down the house back of that which you can see from here part of the house that's Corn's house need to be that's mr's house major major damage the house behind that is is Vol Corn's house needs to be knocked down and his brother-in-law Mr Burt right next to him needs to be knocked down chaos and destruction I'm to get a side shop from this house [Music] down there see the windows in the bottom are all blowing up [Music] hor and you know the [Music] these people here that the world look what's going on here in discriminate even go everyone's coming to food for hot hot drinks for hot food charge their phones over here charge their phones it's it's amazing someone just told me a non-jewish person that if not for the Jewish people that came to help you'd be lost you're the only ones that came out full force have been in 24/7 watching the community because the night is Pitch Black and it's dangerous and serving people food drink whatever is necessary whatever they can help now they just got the pumps and generators to help people pump out of the basements go meeting doesn't matter who they are everybody's just coming out to get help I mentioned before somebody walked over a non-jewish person I said it's not for the B guys sham guys sitting they have nobody else that looks at them nobody else that cares for them the president grabs the Jersey because he's looking for the votes there New York he knows he thinks he hasn't this pocket he thinks but uh that Fe came by today think the Y tells me I don't have my tag so I can't stop working I said when are you going to what happened to your tag I lost it how long will it take to get it back maybe a few days that's FEMA well I I I spoke to FEMA today just just to get to be realistic um they're going to come in and give applications nobody's getting any money the way it works with funer you have to apply they're going to deny everybody because you have to go to your insurance company first and then you have to appeal it this is this is months and months of process but right now there are people that don't have money but they have they have all the the loggings got lost in their basements they have no clothing for their children they're they're looking they need clothing they need food they need to fix their houses they need boilers all the boilers are gone because the basements had 8 ft of water so most of them and most of these people probably 95 to 98% do not have flood insurance so they're not going to get any money from the insurance company and they have to rebuild their houses and they have to send their kids to school and they have no clothing for their children so we need all the help we can get here um we need food for the people but here people mostly need money so they and start their lives over again right now they're all walking around they look by lining like after a war and they they feel lost and government is uh coming in slowly but very very slowly as government works and uh it's going to take a long time until they so people get help from from them also people that have children in school they have they need new books for their kids they need new swim for their kids um they need they need uh uniforms for the kids some people lost the thousandal film here that they to buy new film two tiers that were lost in the Seagate completely and it's going to be La probably at once after after we get back on our feet here and uh it's we're all in As Good the is here we all need help and uh whatever anyone can do for us please please help as much as you can sh former the coordinator of theor Park shman who's been sitting here look at his eyes shocked I am shocked not only because I am sitting here 24 hours because unfortunately I am a victim to as everyone else everybody else knows who I am I live in seate and yes I'm sure that's why the bar is helping me try to get our track back together I've been through the hurricane in Shan bar park for the first 24 48 hours and once everything was settled there all I did was get into into this truck which is as you can all see a beautiful Command Center and we have to thank all our actually simp fell there for arranging this and I believe we got the most ju out of it right now for this big disaster we have the only communication we have in seate is this the only phone line we actually have for people to come make phone calls is this the only electric to charge anybody's cell phone anything is this Command Center everything that is going in and out of seate is going through here I have to thank all the organizations that have helped us day and night whether it's food volunteers money whatever the emergency with centrals we need it for the first few days they been here like crazy right now these things are going to slow down people are going to stop coming not because they want to just people get tired we need everybody in this world that can help to help us out and donate whatever you can from a dollar to a million dollar because this is a multi-million disaster just
