EXCLUSIVE BP KNOCKOUT VICTIM SPEAKS TO DEE VOCH - VIDEO

I am here with a victim of a senseless crime called The Knockout game which just happened um Friday morning 2:45 a.m. in the Bor Park section of Brooklyn and here we're going to hear the story of the victim himself what happened to him just two hours ago I was walking home on the way back from my job I came across a group of people who walking towards me and I was able to hear them speaking loudly about this knockout game which I've heard in the news as being a very dangerous game in which they knock someone to the ground as I'm walking on the sidewalk the group surrounded me and one of them as I tried to get away one of them stepped out towards me and with a closed fist hit me on the face as I was able to cringe and walk away from them they called after me come back I can do this I will knock you out and then I called shamm right away to report it and to make sure that they don't get away with it Shaman came right away and they also notified the local police department and the local pre police officers from the 66 Precinct responded right away and with great efficiency apprehended the four individuals who had just got into a car and try to flee the scene and they were all arrested and they are now in the 66 Precinct being charged with multiple crimes charges yeah the charges that I spoke to Sergeant Chan of the 66 present anti-me charges are um assault three menacing disorderly conduct and harassment so you feeling happy and uh grateful to be okay and to be able to go home tonight yes I'm definitely grateful that I in fact was not actually knocked to the ground as I as far as I heard all the other people who are victim of this crime were actually knocked to the ground some even unconscious so I'm definitely glad to have not been knocked to the ground all the way and not to have been knocked on conscious and to be able to go home now instead of the hospital and I'm very extremely grateful to the shamm of bar Park and to the officers of the 66 Precinct for responding so quickly and efficiently and arresting these individuals and not letting them get away with this senseless crime right and we also have to thank a great job of the arresting officer police officer gaffar of the 66 Precinct and as I mentioned before the anti- crime sergeant officer Chen they did a great job and again as you said that the Sham did a great job with a very very quick response at 3:00 in the morning so thank you very much for sharing the story with us hopefully we will have um you know the NYPD of the N you know New York City and all over Nationwide that you know to take this this senseless game a knockout game out of these um you know people's minds and you know they should be punished as they have to be punished especially as one of the I just learned as one of the perpetrators that were arrested tonight for this crime has already 37 prior arrests may may I add the message to all the citizens of uh Brooklyn and any other areas which the where these crimes are being committed to be vigilant and always aware of your surroundings especially of large groups of people coming towards you it could be of any race and it can happen anywhere to always be vigilant and to always report every crime right away when it happens so these pretres could be held accountable and it should be stopped yeah thank you very much for your time have a good evening I should say have a good morning thank you
