Day #232–Rambam DAILY Sefer HaMitzvos

it is day number 232 of our daily study of RA and in the three chapters of of M we're continuing our study of the laws of vessels different types of useful articles and implements that can receive impurity we're on chapters 9 10 and 11 of those laws and as we've explained for the past couple of days there's not a specific Mitzvah tied to these laws you understand it's we're not learning about any new forms of impurity we've already covered all the different forms of impurity now we're just studying what kinds of objects are susceptible to receiving the forms of impurity that we've already studied so we're reviewing all these different types of impurity positive commandment 101 the ritual impurity of a MIT you remember what a MIT is that's right that's the name of a person who hasas you remember what SAS is yes that's right Tas is the condition that a MIT has that's a recursive definition Mata has Tas Tas is what a Mata has there's not a good translation for it anyway sometimes we call biblical leprosy but just because it's a skin condition but it's not really even a skin condition it's a spiritual condition that manifests as discolorations on the skin and it imparts ritual impurity as we studied at length already and that is our mitzvah for today this remember this is our refresher course of all the different Mitzvah of this area of Jewish law we'll see you again tomorrow for more God willing
