today is day number 158 of our daily study of RA mitz in the three chapters a day track of M we are finishing with chapters five six and seven so these are Mitzvah all having to do with things that are prohibited to offer as sacrifices on the altar on the M okay positive commandment number 60 is the minimum age for animal sacrifices this requires an animal sacrifice to be in its Eighth Day of life and onward at least minimum Eighth Day of life like the verse says that a an animal has to remain with its mother for seven days and then it can become a sacrifice meaning on the eighth day and onward negative commandment 100 is the prohibition against sacrificing an animal that has been obtained in one of two ways and these two ways have something in common in that they're both disrespectful or disgraceful ways of of obtaining an animal and they're both mentioned in one and the same verse and these two manners of obtaining the animal are esan Z and M cff those are the Hebrew terms so what's an asan it's the fee paid to a prostitute what's a m CV it is the price paid to purchase a dog so if somebody used an animal either to pay the fee of a prostitute or to purchase a dog that animal that was used for that transaction may not be brought as a sacrifice that is the prohibition very specific prohibition and it's one prohibition as mentioned they are both in the same verse Okay negative commandment 98 is the prohibition against offering honey or 11 you know like on PES we have 11 kets or we don't have it we get rid of the KET before PES so honey or anything sweet or leav both of these are forbidden to appear in any form on the M positive commandment 62 is that all sacrifices should be offered with salt salt goes with every sacrifice and negative commandment 99 is the prohibition against offering a sacrifice that has no salt that is a Prohibition okay those are the Mitzvah corresponding to we finished these and uh God willing we'll be learning a new subject also in the safer of AO we're still in that book having to do with the service that's performed in the B MDES but we're going to be starting a new set of Halas a new set of laws tomorrow God willing we'll see you then
