Like Everybody - David Frankel

Go get [singing and music] your degree and get a job steady and go get married full [singing and music] and send your kids to school like everybody. Why not do your [singing and music] best? Build yourself a nest. If only you were this and if only you were that, you [singing and music] would live a life of peace and rest. Well, don't you see? I tried to be like everyone. I did it [music] well and suddenly [singing] my joy was gone. Another droplet in the ocean had done. Before I knew, my life felt to be done. [singing] And worst of all, I lost the very charm I had. [music] The very charm that made everyone oh so glad. I found myself and [singing] all around me so sad. And yet I know there's [music] something I can add. So I know that I must be unlike everybody. [singing and music] I will seek to thrive every moment I'm alive. That will be the greatest gift to me. La. [music and singing] [music] >> [music] [music] >> Heat. Heat. >> [music] [music]
