There was no toilet paper. Dan
volunteered to work for a year in a very
poor school in Sapalo, Brazil. They had
no money. And on that fateful day,
November 26th, 2004, exactly 21 years
ago today, it was actually Black Friday
that year, Dan found a deal on free
toilet paper with free shipping, and
said, "Hey, maybe my friends and family
would also like to get free toilet
paper." He opened a website that has now
helped tens of millions of people travel
the world on points, saved millions,
maybe even billions of dollars on
shopping, and so much more. I think
people stay for the authenticity. Dan
and I live and breathe deals, and we
simply share that passion with our
readers. If you've ever gotten one of
our deals before, you know the thrill.
Whether it's a full expense paid
vacation to Las Vegas, $50 first class
Delta flights to anywhere they fly, or
any of our countless price mistakes.
Maybe you got my wife's favorite deal
today, which was Jimmy Chews for just
$20 each. I'm just so thankful for
everybody that follows us and enables
this to be my full-time job and actually
make a living off of doing something
that I love. So, on our 21st birthday, I
just want to say thank you from Dan and
I to everyone who's been along for the
ride.
