There was no toilet paper. Dan volunteered to work for a year in a very poor school in Sapalo, Brazil. They had no money. And on that fateful day, November 26th, 2004, exactly 21 years ago today, it was actually Black Friday that year, Dan found a deal on free toilet paper with free shipping, and said, "Hey, maybe my friends and family would also like to get free toilet paper." He opened a website that has now helped tens of millions of people travel the world on points, saved millions, maybe even billions of dollars on shopping, and so much more. I think people stay for the authenticity. Dan and I live and breathe deals, and we simply share that passion with our readers. If you've ever gotten one of our deals before, you know the thrill.
