The first kosher Michelin star restaurant ever, and I almost can't believe what I just ate. We went out celebrating my father-in-law who just hit 25,000 subscribers in his first 2 weeks on YouTube. This restaurant is all about Chef Roze's story with his grandmother. It really feels like you've walked into his grandmother's home and she's serving you food straight out of her kitchen. From the mismatched China to the open kitchen design to the amenities in the bathroom, the vibe here is unmatched. The Israeli knabtauch was the first dish of the night and completely sold the show. I couldn't even believe it. Next up, we had consuming that dish that will make you addicted, pancake and veal in the most delicious spot bucha you've ever had. The flavors here are not like anything you've had anywhere else. The meal was so unique. After I took bites of dishes, my reaction wasn't the typical do I like it or not. I'm sitting there wondering, "What is that? I've never had that before." This maflouf is a must order. And this Damascus and panada filled with beef cheek, kataif, and black garlic was incredible. Chef Roze's fusion is so creative. Take this salad. It's actually a beet ice cream, a literal work of art, and you mix it together yourself. It's so fun. I think when the Michelin tasters saw this, they saw something they'd never seen anywhere else. And the fact that this is kosher is wild. These Lebanon ravioli with puffed lentils were again like nothing I've ever had before. The whole menu, every single dish is so unique, so unconventional. So, if you want to eat that does not exist anywhere else in the world, you have to go to Motura. By the way, do not eat these towels.
