Israel Iran War Update

We didn't hear rain coming down, but we heard missiles that were coming right over us, flying over us. Shabbat tov, good luck from Jerusalem. We had an exciting Shabbat here at the Waldorf Astoria. We were woken up this morning with red alerts telling us to go down to the mamad, which is in the basement floor in the parking lot three floors underneath the Waldorf Astoria, Jerusalem. Where we spent our day kind of going up and down between the hotel and the mamad down there. There is also safe rooms on every floor, but the safest place is in the basement three floors under. I did still go to shul. Which didn't have a mamad. I didn't realize that would happen. So, I was the chazzan for shacharit and as I'm saying mashiv haruach umati geshem, we didn't hear rain coming down, but we heard missiles that were coming right over us, flying over us and being intercepted. Cuz you can hear them, but you don't feel their impact on the ground. So, that that means that they're being intercepted in the air. So, yeah, it was an intense Shabbat. We learned that Khamenei appears to be dead and hopefully there will be regime change in Iran and there can be real peace throughout the Middle East and throughout the world. So, we hope and pray that's the case. And we're planning on flying back after Shabbat. We'll probably be here for a while longer. All is well here in Jerusalem for now. Everybody is safe and sound here.
