American Airlines 2/14/21 Flight 119 Crew Times Out

as your flight crew has expired uh it's a pretty hard fast rule that there's there's not much we can do about it uh we fought the good fight trying to get as far as we could and up until including de-icing but unfortunately as uh safety dictates it's it's a federally mandated mandated that we uh complete the flight in the uh a lot of time and unfortunately we can't do that now i i wish i had better news we are going to head back to game day 24 there will be a passenger service managers to help you get on your way and again i'm really really sorry to bear this news i know you've had a long and trying day and we've done everything we possibly could to get underway um we'll uh be starting the engines up and maxing back wish we were taking you to maui i really do but it's uh it's out of our hands unfortunately disappointed we'll be uh starting up the engines in underway here in just another couple of minutes
