American Airlines 2/14/21 Flight 119 Cancellation: Weather Or Maintenance? Part 1

[Music] but the captain made an announcement that the plane was delayed for at least 45 more minutes because of a maintenance issue and when we got off the plane they said maintenance issue and by the way we were on one o'clock flight which was canceled for me so we were only on this fight because of a maintenance station so this is this isn't a weather there was a maintenance issue the pilot announced in fact she was already printing vouchers for a maintenance issue and then someone came over and said oh i don't know let's check with the tower she still hasn't gotten confirmation this isn't the main message so whenever we code delays is based on the larger time frame of the delay right so if there was a maintenance issue that that very well could have happened but depending on the lengthy if the delay was due because if it was longer delayed due to weather then it would be coated to weather up all the way through the re-stacking so i'm just telling you what the information that was related to all of us um i understand where you're coming from who were they told but that's not what happened okay so so obviously you can dispute that sure um [Music] so the one thing that we can do here going forward um if you dispute it that's fine i would document it um but we're coding it as a weather delay so when she tried to get confirmation of it being a weather director she saw in her system that it was maintenance and then someone came over here so i hadn't asked her she saw that oh give me a second let me talk to him can you you have hmt open yeah okay
