[Music] so amazon was honestly one of the first songs we actually finished as a final product and it was the kind of song where we heard it i think the second we heard the song in the studio on the speakers playing we knew we had something special we just kind of like felt it in our bones very fun song one of my favorite songs from the album for sure danny was like come on we need the song like let's go i told him okay you'll have it by tomorrow and msi was pretty much done in one night i thought it was really important it kind of struck me at that time and it still does to this day the message of being in the moment and there was no time really better than during covid and i guess still to this day that like try to be present in the moment and just enjoy life [Music] life and as hard as it is to sometimes take that next step and the song kind of like progresses from the first verse to the second verse of like i can't do i can um and the drops for the song actually changed we had like four different versions tom check was interesting because parts of it came very naturally and parts of it didn't uh there's about like four or five iterations of the of the drop would you say sure did a tremendous job at kind of like creating and melding and meshing together different versions that we kind of want to go with into i think the perfect final version i hope you like it [Music] never alone is one of those songs where like i had an idea for it i had a concept for it really sure took it to another level and especially with a percussive element it kind of gives those jungle vibes where you kind of like connect to it on like a really authentic level the the whole song is sort of this dark boom boom like the the toms kind of bring a little bit of a dark feel of like mina maesta like from the depth i'm calling and by the way every time i produce the song every time i work on a song i have to do it with the lyrics [Music] so it's funny because this is the one song on the album that we actually purchased as opposed to the other 10 which shu and i actually composed together and the reason why is because i heard it like maybe a year and a half ago we fell in love with it it's the perfect combination of chupa but also just really is versatile in a lot of different ways in the middle of recording bowie was like wow this guy is an amazing singer it's just such a such a vocally like interesting song and and danny absolutely whoa then recorded vocals before he actually heard the final sound you know how luca kind of like found our laps we ran with it so i think it was one of those songs that danny had to sort of trust me he loved it as much as i did after i finished the production [Music] that's actually uh danny saying i remember like sitting in the car with the oni in muncie late at night kind of like playing through some of the songs on the album and like you only fell in love with it and yoni was like let's do it and then the rest is history that was actually yoni's idea he's a very musical person and very fun person to collaborate with so i had the idea for the song i had it and then we kind of like really took it to another level with joao we got gal and ziv to work on the song when you listen to the song kind of like try to listen to the drums to the guitar and like realize how beautiful those parts are the theme throughout the album is anyone i i was lucky enough to collaborate with really brought a whole lot [Music] the story behind mikasham is actually pretty pretty crazy because it started out as the slow more intimate guitar but it ended up being something totally different something really incredible [Music] i together kind of came about in a time where there were honestly was a lot of divide in the country and it was really more of like an in-the-moment song that kind of just addressed that message and who better to do that with than david farhi and we got it done the music video kind of says it all in the beginning at least of the message that we're trying to send to people of just come together it's easier that way at the end of the day and we're all better off together danny sent me a demo a voice note of him just i think humming the melody i don't think we had any lyrics just humming the melody immediately i was like i was so excited i called down i was like this is this is this is style wedding song at first i think she was a little bit hesitant because we already had a wedding song a slower version shu had his keyboard we were messing around with some ideas we both fell in love with within i think like five minutes of playing the song yeah those guitars are ziv and he he was doing little licks at the end just to kind of like fill up the space i'm like these licks that he's doing for fun are awesome i'm gonna open the song with it the song also actually like almost had some spanish words uh which thankfully we did not keep in estamos told us and we're like okay let's cringe [Music] i have to take almost a deep breath and take a step back here because it was actually one of the songs that didn't make it on the album the song was totally different up until around a month before the album was finished i sent the song to to ziv and i said ignore the piano you do you and we actually talked about like different ideas of what to do and he's like i have a whole nother idea let me try my thing i'm like you do you and he sends back these like beautiful warm mellow vibes and i was like yeah this is this is it i didn't realize how beautiful the song could be until ziv
