[Music] I was in Ed sale very happy learning with ra ades we had some experience boys would be coming after graduating fushisha to a school in Israel and I saw beautiful material beautiful raw material we felt that the most positive thing that could be done is if we could start educating them not after they finish high school but before they start high school my father and uh his brother Rabbi habber decided together that it was time to come back and help the community we all go back to Mr Isaac shaam ala Shalom he had the foresight to see that our community needed a Yeshiva that was getting us into the Yeshiva mode but that we didn't have a high school in this community Rabbi Haba had the foresight to say we having all boys high school and we're going to train them in the right way on the DAT of Tor he was the one that walked into the forest first and chopped down the trees he established the norm for others to follow they cut down the forest everybody else just walking through the path that they made when the sh boys high school began back in the day was like rapid fire very quickly people realized they said how do we do this with the younger boys many of the boys were in the ISA when there was just a boy school and they slowly added a girl school of course preschool which is famous it is really an incredible journey what RAB habber coming back from EDS Israel set out to [Music] do Rabbi Halal habber is one of the 26 hidden sikim of this world we owe him as a community a huge debt of gratitude for what he's done to help hundreds and hundreds of children become better people to help families be on the right path we were in the presidents of Rabbi Hab we knew that this was a man that could have continued his study in Israel but he decided to stop what he was doing to come into New York and to give back to the community Raa is the true role model whether it be the way he walks talks acts dresses when I was in 11th and 12th grade I wanted a c a winter coat that was exactly Rab's winter coat and I found one and I bought it RAB had a very close relationship with G and like we're going to go with used to tell us you want to Lear lives when I met him you felt like you met someone special I don't think I ever had a conversation with r habber where he wasn't teaching me when you have a regular conversation with him he's just giving over and he's teaching you wanted to teach Tora and he was tremendous in Tor and and at the same time he was able to connect to us really really really regular mainstream Syrian boys that had no connection or very little connection to Tor he really really felt that he was there for us he was like our second father he just put me at ease he was so holy yet so approachable someone who you just wanted to connect to that carried over through my four years of high school and way way way Beyond I always feel he was he my second father that's how I look at RAB he always looked after us as a father look after a son so I was drinking Coca-Cola and I finished my can and I went from about 30 ft away from the garbage can and I I took a three-pointer and I I shot the the can and then Rabbi Haber was there he saw me he said what did that can ever do to you I said I don't know it's a c I like to play basball I shoot the can the can just served you he says and that's how you treat something that just served you and I was like so mind blown of how pure the rabbis midot are living the life of a Jew was something which Behavior lived and it didn't just do and he taught us also how to live that life and not just do that life he saw the potentials and the boys and he treated them on that potential level and with that we were able to always push higher than we thought I wouldn't be where I am today without the school everything is a result of starting in high school in sh T I would say that the best Fringe benefit of working with Yesa is to work with my uncle RAB R sometimes when you have someone who's an example when you get close to them you realize that they're just regular RAB Hab is one of the gim who you realize that the closer you get to him the more beautiful and more special that example is [Music]
