For the last six years, we've been telling the community how YKT is a pioneer in diversified learning. We take the high school curriculum, judic studies, we add vocational professional training. We provide licensing in many, many fields. We give leadership training and we combine it all into each boy in order for these boys to persevere on their own path. Well, I'm glad to announce that we just graduated our third class. And today, we're going to give you a glimpse on where our graduates are and how they got there. [Music] YKT is more like a family, right? You ask the rabbis for advice. Speak to them privately about different things and not just learning math or science. You learn about life. >> Whenever you needed anything, you could call one of the Rebea and they're always there for you. It was a very close small grade. You just felt like like a big family. >> It was easy for me to integrate. I was fit right in, made friends. >> You can have a much closer relationship to your rabbis and you can see that they're really there for you. They they care about what's going on in their lives. >> It was a lot of fun. It was it was action. Every day was action. You came inside, the rabbis were like, "How are you, Sadi? How was everything? How was your how was your night?" One time I had a question for Rab Zetuni. >> At literally 2:00 a.m. on a Friday night. I walked over, knocked on his door and I asked him and he was like, "Thank you for getting this off your chest." >> I saw how Amazon just sells every single product and people buy from Amazon because they trust it. And I just thought like, why is there not a company that people could go on to buy wholesale just like how they buy retail and make it fast, simple, reliable? He's helped me with the business life. like he's helped me with different hall questions, different just moral questions. Do I do this? Do I do that? >> And I really feel that connection with all of the rebum. In uh 11th grade, we had Rabbi Seion Salem come teach us uh checking vegetables and ever since then I wanted to learn more and I got certified as a mashki and I loved it. That's what I do today. >> What they told me was a lot of confidence. Before I was a little bit shy. Now, like I'm just out in the field. I'm talking to tenants. I'm talking on the phone. I'm dealing with inspectors. >> Today, I manage parties. They taught me how to take control of situations when there wasn't someone always there to help you. >> So, I work in marketing for a home care agency. My KT gave me the tools and the confidence to go out uh explain what my company does to all these different doctors and nurses. >> I'm almost done. I'm on the last three dime and like I I thought in the beginning when I came back from Israel I'm I'm not going to finish this and look where I am today. I'm almost done of my love for learning has come from YKT cuz I thought I wasn't able to learn and I've been learning. >> They had rabbis come and uh they sat us down. I realized that going to yeshiva in Israel would be the next step for me. And when I heard I could just go to Israel and grow for a whole year straight, uh it was a lot of encouragement from the rabbis. It was a lot of uh advice. >> I'm going to Yeshiva on Lakewood after this summer. >> YKT let the flame live on Stoken the fire. I want to thank all of the Rebeam and faculty for really always being there for me >> from start to finish. They've been there for me. I'm really proud of all the skills that you gave me, all the confidence you gave me to be a better person. >> Thank you, Rabbi. You've done everything for me and I can't thank you enough. >> You've seen a great glimpse into what we've been doing with our students, but we got to do more. We're here today to ask you to become a partner with us in expanding YKT to the next level. We want to buy laptops all the boys to teach them Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, banking. We want to buy the boys instruments to teach them how to play music each person according to what he needs. We want to start an eye program which is to be funded with rebellion, be funded with food every night to make sure these boys have a safe haven. When you invest in YKT, you're investing in the future of our community, helping them enrich not only their education, but their wherewithal, their abilities, their confidence, and it all comes back to the community. >> Now, I could implement everything I learned in YKT in my day-to-day life. >> And there's a lot of things that they taught me, but I've implemented into my life, my working life, with my family. >> It's something I'm going to do for the rest of my life. These boys are going to be bastions of outcome.
