The One Fund Promotional Video

[Music] we saw an opportunity that one fund would be needed to fight the postcovid environment where the schools were very unsettled and they didn't know how they would tackle their financial obligations and we said let's roll out the one fund which was basically a system and where we measure the school's shortfall and we would give it to them if they pay on time and if they did not borrow a single dollar i feel that when i'm giving thirty six thousand dollars a year to the one fund i'm giving money to multiple schools at once and i'm giving them the motivation to make more money and be more consistent with their payroll what i see for myself is that the one fund forces me to focus on what my goals are each month to plan to strategize and the result is that we're reaching those goals it could be the last day of the month we had to click another 15 20 grand and i tell the guy in the office listen i have the one fund behind me if i don't get this this money i'm losing x amount of money and on the spot the guy cuts me out of check it gives an incentive to to the donors as well as the people that are collecting for the schools to get this done we had six years of falling behind and catching up over the last 20 months we have not missed the payroll by one day the fact that the money is coming on time has been made a tremendous difference in the school when rebbe knows that he's secured he's going to get the first day of the month he's checked it makes it much easier for him he's not he doesn't teach under any attention when a rebbe knows he's going to get paid he could just concentrate solely on his job that's the importance of the one fund there were five to start they became seven and the seven schools are now all uh paying on time one of the biggest pluses of the one fund they don't impose on the issue of anything the only thing they're interested is that the yeshiva should be responsible to pay and be on time my father allah shalom morris setton i thought what would be the best way to give him an aliyah for his nishama and to create you know something great in his memory and it was really the motivation for having this members meeting and see how we could further grow this it's a really beautiful to get on the one fund for helping seven different schools from lakewood deal and brooklyn we all know that getting our rebbies and staff and have a shiva run to their their fullest and maximum potential is the greatest thing we could do even though it's only 15 a month but that 15 percent ends up becoming like me and joe we always discuss is becoming one of their biggest donors if not their biggest donor to most yeshivas and so you so you're springboarding the other 85 to come in what joey has done to the community is something that's unprecedented where he literally is changing the landscape of responsibility for jewish education as a whole i would encourage anybody who's able to partner in this beautiful project to join in and hashem will what it did to these most talented rabbi it gave them such tremendous glute over the last year and here close to two years that already knows that he's getting paid every two weeks that he knows his bills are being paid his mortgage is being paid and the total focus is on each and every talmud and that is only due to the one fund i'm envious of the donors of the one fund of the zahoot which they have the tremendous opportunity for anyone to get involved where they will be supporting torah for the community which goes endlessly further on from generation to generation i'm very proud to be a part of it the schools are are running better and to me that's a very big thing so i urge everyone to support it and i believe it's time to roll it out and make this thing a lot bigger of a project than it currently is we thank all our our members of our fund that are in it now and we're looking to bring on more members because we know this breakthrough system will change the face of the educational system the way our families live our rebbies live do we just need more people to join and participate with us [Music] [Applause] [Music] you
