Rabbi Sammy is a trailblazer probably Sammy is a person that has so much positive energy and all he looks to do is drive his mission being able to affect Jewish life in places that without it it wouldn't be Rabbi sami's connection to human beings is one of just the love comes out he remembers events that you talked about last time you met and they'll ask you what's happening how's it going here how's it going there it's sensitivity it's understanding he's part of our community so he views himself and he abused his relationship with people in a way it's very different and very unique so when he's teaching people I thought I was the most important guy in the room there was 20 other syrians that he did the same thing too and then he did the same thing for the rabbis that he trained in the other rooms growing up and I think that's why people love him so much that's why people bond with him so much and and get so close to him when Rabbi Sammy first moved to Israel he was very Affiliated by Weinberg and he was an estuary opened the old city I didn't understand until I was maybe in my teens that he was training rabbis to go out in the world he used to travel so much on his own going to countries going on airplanes Here There and Everywhere for one purpose establishing a Sephardic Jewish communities out in the world he changed the world by teaching and training them to be rabbis to go back to their Community to be better at what they do he trains them to be more Hills think about where would we be without Rabbi Sammy how many places I've been to in Europe bumping into rabbis that have come from Rabbi Sammy he's never ending with choices of rabbis to help further the Jewish Corps around the world you hear Chabad and you think he's doing for the Sephardic Community he's been incredibly successful has created over 200 rabbis established and soon to be over 300. I've traveled my wife I would say 10 15 years ago and I couldn't find the rabbi in Barcelona he goes what are you talking about I know that Rabbi I am an individual that travels the world primarily for business and occasionally for vacation I bumped into Rabbi Sammy's rabbis around the world numerous times I've been able to tap into them have me nanim thanks to them get kosher food thanks to them my son got married in Rome and we had a small issue on timing and a couple of housekeeping issues so Rabbi Sammy came to my son's wedding and he said what's the issue I said well I don't have a ring I have a handkerchief he says the Rabbi says you got to go get a ring he says no I'm Nicole the chief Rob I have Rome here so he called him while assignment was going on gave the phone because they do the kids over there in the room during the ceremony while everyone's sitting down in their seats I said Rabbi he goes no I trained him you pick a country in Europe with a Sephardic Community there's a connection to Rabbi Sami today Shalom and greetings from Louis Safra synagogue in Manhattan I am honored to be included in those who are extending the warm congratulations and salutations to Rabbi Sami who has dedicated his life to the survival and development of Sephardic Jewish communities throughout the four corners of the world hello everyone this is from Hong Kong part of the people they are saying omcon is the vilna of the far east and by Sami katsin at the suit to change people and this Hood to change family have the skirt to change communities around the world to continuous this is over the last six years I've enjoyed very much working with Rob Kasin and we've had a lot of adventures together my whole family has nothing but her garden a dove to Rabbi Sami the everything that he's done not only for us as a family but the entire Jewish people and RAF Sami we say thank you and wish you only the best Rabbi Sammy we love you continue what you're doing nobody could do it like you I would encourage everybody to spend time with Rabbi Sammy and really get to understand his mission because if you understand the vision you're excited to get involved you're excited to invest because you see the vision is going to become the results foreign [Music]
